On Tuesday, 11/23/21, I received a notification on my [redacted] account instructing me to use [redacted] for two-factor authentication on Facebook, and followed by [redacted]. While using Facebook, I encountered a "session timed out" message, suspecting I had been hacked. My username and password were changed, and a new email was added to my account. Despite submitting my PA driver's license, they couldn't identify me immediately, explaining the 30-day ID retention policy. I noticed the authentication codes were being sent to an unfamiliar email address. I've been locked out of my account entirely. An email notified me of a new email addition to my account on the same date. I simply need assistance in recovering my account urgently, as my identity has been compromised. Though it's displaying an invalid address, I received an email at this address recently. Please assist me promptly. Thank you.

Good morning, I am Joe G. My account has been blocked for 20 days instead of the promised 72 hours. This is causing issues for my business as I have other accounts linked to it. The block occurred due to sending a private video that I now realize was inappropriate. Growing up in Africa, such videos were normal in my culture. I had previously disabled two-factor authentication on my Instagram account due to issues with not receiving security codes. However, recently when logging in from a new device, Instagram detected unusual activity and disabled my account. Now, the only way to log in is by following the screen instructions, which requires a security code. Despite using the same phone number, I have never been able to receive Instagram security codes, even on different devices. I have attempted to resolve this by adjusting my SMS carrier settings, trying to log in from the web, and reinstalling the app with no success. I also reached out to Facebook Support as instructed, providing a photo of myself with my username, code, and full name, but have not received a response. I am currently stuck in a loop and unable to find a solution.

I don't understand why my Facebook account was blocked. There was no hacking involved; it was just me trying to re-download the app on a different phone because I couldn't remember my password. When I tried to change it, my account got blocked. I use Facebook for professional reasons - I have two pages and one group. I can't afford to have my account blocked without any reason. To verify my identity, I should have received an approval code on my phone, but I never got it.

I recently changed my Facebook password and now I'm having trouble accessing my account. I attempted to verify my identity through trusted contacts, but they all received a message saying they are "Not a Trusted Contact," even though they are listed as such. The option to approve my login is also not working for me, as I can't click on any of the items listed.
I've tried resetting my password multiple times via email, but each time I do, I'm brought back to the verification page without success. I'm very frustrated as I've spent hours trying to fix this and feel stuck as this account holds years of important information. Not being able to access Messenger is also hindering my communication during these times.

I received emails and texts indicating that my Facebook password was changed without my knowledge. Following this, Facebook alerted me to attempted logins from unfamiliar devices and IP addresses. When I attempted to access my account, I was informed that it was under review due to supposedly posting inappropriate content. Despite being advised of a compromise on my account, I remain locked out. I submitted a photo of my ID as requested but have yet to regain access.

I had to make a new account because my old one got hacked and deleted. Now, I'm unable to like, comment, or share anything on Facebook. Every time I try, I get a message saying, "To prevent any misuse, we've temporarily restricted your ability to use (insert any feature)." I received a message on Messenger asking me to call back on WhatsApp at 1-[redacted]. I messaged back because it was my sister-in-law, and she asked me to send $[redacted] to a friend. When I ignored her, she called and demanded it. As soon as I spoke, they hung up, and now I can't access my account of nearly 25 years. My photo is there with a different email and number, and messages are being sent to my contacts asking for money from my profile. They have stolen my identity.
