Facebook is a unique platform for social and economic communication in today's digital world. There's no alternative to it at present. I've been using Facebook since the beginning, complying with all its rules. My number of followers exceeds my friend list, and my posts receive much appreciation worldwide. Many have benefited from my posts, particularly regarding the Covid Pandemic. Unfortunately, my account (ID: SK Monir Hossain) has been disabled for three days due to an unintentional mistake. This has caused me significant social and economic distress. I have carefully reviewed Facebook's Community Standards and will be more cautious in the future. I kindly ask Facebook to review and reactivate my account. Wishing Facebook continued success. Take care.

A hacker targeted my old friend's account, asking me for assistance. They requested to send a code to my phone since they were facing issues with their own. Sensing something was off, I declined. They then asked for my number to prove their identity as Bryon, even though he didn't have my contact information. I reluctantly provided it, leading to me receiving a code which I shared with them, only for them to claim it was incorrect. This scam has also affected two other friends. I attempted to verify my identity with Facebook by submitting my driver's license, but the process redirects to the wrong page. The hacker's audacity is evident as they left their account name on my Google Play Account. I am unsure how to proceed. My main goal is to regain control of my accounts. Thank you for your assistance. - S. Anderson

I am having trouble logging in. My Gmail is [redacted], and my password is aman1309. I have been repeatedly changing my Date of Birth on the account. I received a message stating, "Aman, You Disagreed with the Decision on September 11, [redacted]." Facebook mentioned that my account is not visible, and I am unable to use it. They are reviewing my account again to confirm my age. If I am deemed old enough, I can use Facebook. However, if I am still considered underage, my account may be permanently disabled without the option to appeal. I am a Class 8 student and I need help resolving this issue. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter. 🥺🥺

Hello, I am seeking access to my account that was hacked approximately 2 months ago. Despite multiple attempts to reach out for assistance, I have not received any responses. After receiving an email informing me of a password request, I tried to log in to cancel it. Unfortunately, my password did not work, leading me to request a change. However, I never received the code or link to reset it as my email and possibly phone number had been changed on the account. I am eager to regain access and would greatly appreciate any help resolving this matter promptly. Thank you.

On September 14, [redacted], Samad, you have contested the decision. Typically, it takes us slightly over a day to reassess your details. Please review here. Your Facebook account is currently invisible to others, and you cannot utilize it. Our next steps involve re-examining your account. If we verify that you meet the age requirements, you will regain access to Facebook. However, if it is determined that you do not meet the age criteria to be on Facebook, your account will be permanently deactivated, and you will not have the option to contest this decision again.

Facebook holds a unique position in today's digital landscape as a significant tool for social and economic communication. I have maintained a positive reputation on Facebook since its inception, adhering to all guidelines diligently. Over time, my follower count has surpassed my friend list, indicating the wide appreciation for my posts through likes, shares, and comments worldwide. Many of my posts, particularly those concerning the current Covid pandemic, serve public interest and have benefited millions. Unfortunately, an unintentional error may have led to the recent disabling of my Facebook account (SK Monir Hossain), causing significant social and economic distress for the past three days. I have thoroughly reviewed the Community Standard Policy and apologize for any oversight. I respectfully urge Facebook to reconsider and reactivate my account, assuring increased awareness and compliance moving forward. I extend my wishes for Facebook's continued success. Take care.

I have been trying to contact support multiple times without success. I have been a Facebook user for many years, and after changing my password recently, I am now unable to access my account. When trying to reset the password, I am only given the option to receive a security code via email, not text as before. The email account linked to receive the code is an old hotmail account that no longer exists. I have uploaded pictures for verification but have not received any response. I had an alias account for work that I hadn't used in a while under a different name. I also created a new account with my name but deleted it recently. I am unsure how to regain access to my original account with [redacted] friends. You can find it at www.facebook.com/sam.baughman.3.

My Facebook account is currently blocked, and the method of verifying my identity by choosing friends to receive a code is challenging as my friends may not be active on Facebook. I haven't posted any ads on my account, and all my friends are classmates from abroad. I am facing some specific issues: 1. My Facebook is linked only to my email, not my phone number. 2. The account is under a different name. 3. The profile picture is not my own. 4. As I am in mainland China, the VPN may cause my IP to change. I am hoping to resolve this issue as I miss my former classmates, especially a close friend who has been very supportive. Unfortunately, I am unable to contact her due to the blocked account. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My Instagram account, @kesem_nigreker, is currently locked due to phishing. I am unable to verify my identity as I do not have access to my cell phone or email associated with the account. Despite sending a code to my alternative email and successfully confirming my identity with a photo, my account remains locked even after resetting the password. I have been waiting for responses to my messages for a significant amount of time, which is quite frustrating. I truly hope you can assist me in regaining access to my important account. Thank you in advance for your help. - Kesem

While streaming on Facebook Gaming last night, I received a notification from Facebook regarding not meeting their community standards. After clicking on the notification, I suspect it might have been a hack. Despite this, I continued streaming and attempted to complete a Facebook form. Suddenly, my stream halted, prompting me to log back in. Upon my first login attempt, I was informed that I had violated their policies by sharing content with nudity. Shockingly, a friend informed my partner of a disturbing video involving young boys that was posted. Feeling overwhelmed, I have been unable to regain access to my account since there is no customer service phone number available at Facebook. I have used Facebook since [redacted] and never encountered such a harrowing experience. The sentimental photos on my profile are now inaccessible, causing immense distress. Additionally, I am unable to manage my sister's remembrance page, as I was the sole admin. I have sought help from the authorities without any resolution. Your assistance in recovering my account is sincerely appreciated. Thank you. John R.

I'm concerned about the false advertising on Facebook, especially the ads selling toolboxes at unbelievably low prices. It seems risky to enter payment information for products that are likely not as advertised. These ads even falsely associate with reputable stores like Walmart and Home Depot. I'm contemplating promoting my own products on Facebook but fear customers will be hesitant to buy due to these scams. Facebook should crack down on these fraudulent ads to protect consumers and ensure a trustworthy platform for all sellers. It's vital to verify the legitimacy of advertisers to prevent scams. I hope Facebook addresses this issue promptly. Regards, Music2Tor

Hello, my name is Gary and I live in Australia. Recently, some friends alerted me that my Facebook account was compromised. My profile picture was changed to an ISIS flag, leading Facebook to suspend my account for violating Community Standards. I then received a message asking me to prove my identity by uploading my ID. Despite submitting my passport and driver's license multiple times, I keep getting automated messages requesting the same documents I have already provided. When I tried using a different email to send my ID, I was told it was approved and to follow a link to complete the process, only to be looped back to the Proof of ID page. This situation is affecting my small business, as I rely on Facebook ads for marketing. I'm struggling to find a way to contact Facebook for help, as their email addresses seem outdated. Any assistance or guidance on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My Facebook (FB) account was unexpectedly disabled with a message saying I violated Community Standards, which I believe is an error. I've tried contacting FB without success and need to know the specific standard I allegedly violated. I've had issues with fake accounts misusing my photos in the past. FB disabled my account once for using my nickname "Scott" instead of my legal name "William." I quickly updated it to William (Scott) Woska, and my account was reinstated. Now, however, my account was permanently disabled without explanation or a chance to defend myself. This lack of accountability from FB is troubling and feels undemocratic. I'm seeking help to understand why my account was disabled and hopefully have it restored. I've also been unable to download my data as promised by FB. Any assistance in resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated. My account name was William (Scott) Woska. Thank you for your support.

Facebook recently disabled my account without warning, citing a Community Standards violation. I firmly believe this is an error as I have always adhered to their policies. Despite numerous attempts to contact Facebook, I have not received any assistance. I am confused by their lack of transparency and due process. In the past, I reported fraudulent accounts misusing my photos, but Facebook was slow to respond. They once disabled my account for using my nickname "Scott" instead of my legal name "William." After correcting this, my account was reinstated. Now, without explanation, my account has been permanently disabled. This unilateral decision without allowing me to defend myself is troubling. I am disappointed by Facebook's handling of this matter, reminiscent of a communistic approach. I respectfully request clarification on the violation, account reactivation, and access to download my data as promised. My account name is William (Scott) Woska, with Scott as my nickname. Thank you for any assistance provided. Respectfully, William (Scott) Woska.

Dear Forum Members, I am reaching out regarding a concerning situation with Facebook (FB) that I am currently experiencing. Recently, without any prior notice, my FB account was disabled due to an alleged violation of the Community Standards. As an active user who frequently engages with the platform, I can confidently state that I did not breach any of FB's policies. I have made numerous attempts to contact FB to rectify this issue and reinstate my account to no avail. It is crucial for me to understand the specific violation that led to the deactivation of my account. I am puzzled by the lack of transparency and due process in this matter. Additionally, I have encountered challenges in downloading my activity and posts as promised by FB. In the past, I have encountered fraudulent accounts misusing my information, which I promptly reported to FB. Despite these incidents, I never received feedback on the outcomes of these reports. Notably, I had a previous account suspension due to a discrepancy in the name I used. I promptly corrected this by updating my name to William (Scott) Woska, which was acknowledged by FB. I am disheartened by the unfair treatment and lack of communication from FB, and I am seeking assistance in resolving this issue promptly. Any guidance on restoring my account and accessing my data would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention and support. Best regards, William (Scott) Woska

Dear GetHuman, I am reaching out because Facebook disabled my account unexpectedly, citing a violation of their Community Standards. I firmly believe this is a mistake as I have always followed Facebook's guidelines diligently. Despite my numerous attempts to contact Facebook for clarification, I have not received any response. I am baffled by the lack of transparency and professionalism in handling this situation. In the past, I've dealt with individuals creating fake accounts using my photos, which I reported to Facebook, albeit with slow response times and no follow-up. One issue arose when Facebook claimed my name, "Scott Woska," was not legitimate, despite it being my commonly known name since [redacted]. I complied by changing it to "William (Scott) Woska," and my account was reinstated promptly. However, now my account has been permanently disabled without specifying any violations. I am deeply troubled by the lack of due process and the authoritarian approach Facebook has taken. I request assistance in getting details on the alleged violation, reactivating my account, and obtaining a copy of my data as promised. My account name was "William (Scott) Woska," using Scott as a nickname. Thank you for your help. Best regards, William (Scott) Woska

I received a message from Facebook stating I no longer had an account that I joined around [redacted] and suggested I create a new one. I started setting up a new account with the same name. Later, I noticed my original page had reappeared while taking a break, so I stopped working on the new one. Now, when I log in, either the old correct account or the new incomplete one shows up, lacking friends, groups, or pictures. I would like the new incomplete account to be deleted so that my complete original account appears every time with the name "annakay." Thank you, Karen Ann Kay Esberger.
