Hello, nearly two months ago I was disabled from Facebook for inadvertently selling trademarked curlers. I have taken responsibility and apologized multiple times. It was not intentional, and I was unaware of the error until later. Despite reaching out through emails and appeals with no response, my account still shows as disabled, not permanently banned. This prolonged wait seems excessive, especially considering my clean history with Facebook. I am eager for any information regarding the status of my account, hoping to have clarity on the duration of this restriction. Thank you in advance for your assistance; I look forward to a prompt response. - Michelle Morris

I am trying to regain access to my frequently used Facebook account. I managed to restore it once before, but it seems to have disappeared again. I mistakenly thought I was updating my existing account and unintentionally created a new one. As someone who is unwell, Facebook is my primary means of social interaction, and its loss saddens me deeply. I inadvertently attempted to deactivate the new account while logged into it, which may have resulted in the deletion of the account I cherish. Both accounts share the same name, adding to the confusion. The previous recovery was possible through the email address [redacted], but I have been unable to access it for months. Regrettably, this email is now linked to the new account I have no intention of using. The idea of starting anew is daunting given my condition. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

A photo of my grandfather, and my kids' great-grandfather, lying in his casket was posted on Facebook. I have kindly requested for it to be removed. I handle all his affairs and have essentially taken over his responsibilities since he passed away. He was a very private person who would not have wanted his picture shared in that way. Some of his great-grandchildren were unaware of his passing, and seeing the photo has greatly upset them. If you are unable to assist, I will involve his lawyer without a doubt.

About 10 years ago, I was banned from the platform for no apparent reason. At that time, my account was not active, so I didn't pay much attention. However, I now wish to try using the platform again. When I attempted to log in, I found that my account is still disabled. I tried to create a new account, but it seems my email address is tied to the disabled account. When I reached out to Facebook support to appeal the ban, they claimed my email was not associated with any account. It's frustrating because when I try to register a new account with the same email, I'm told it's already in use. I even tried calling for support, but it seems they don't offer phone assistance.

I recently shared a meme poking fun at gender stereotypes online, which unfortunately got me banned for 30 days. The meme jokingly stated "women are crazy trash," and I intended it as parody. However, I failed to include a clear indicator that it was a joke like "lol jk," which led to my ban. I have autism, major depression, and find it challenging to express myself clearly at times, causing misunderstandings. I genuinely respect women and advocate for their equality and fair treatment. I am not a hateful person, just someone who enjoys humor. I did not create the meme but shared it and feel the original poster should be held accountable, not me. I seek to be unbanned so I can share videos of ComicCon [redacted] with my friends. I look forward to this event and wish to clear the misunderstanding caused by a meme I posted.

Good Afternoon, I frequently receive emails/notifications indicating a suspicious attempt to access my Facebook Account from the following location: Sunnyvale, CA, United States IP Address: [redacted].[redacted].[redacted].72 Upon investigating, the IP Address appears to be a Yahoo registered one, currently owned by Verizon. I am a Verizon Internet user and have a Yahoo Email Account. This recurring issue of suspected login attempts has been bothersome, as I believe no unauthorized access is truly happening, but rather a technical glitch causing the Alert. The cycle of resetting my password repeatedly has been frustrating as each reset mandates updating the password on all devices connected to my Facebook Account. Is there a solution available to stop the password resets prompted by access attempts from IP Address: [redacted].[redacted].[redacted].72? Thank you for your assistance, Mordechai M.

My email account was hacked some time ago, and the perpetrator created an Instagram account using my email address. I've since closed the IG account, but now I'm getting emails from Facebook about people I don't know, as my Facebook and IG accounts were linked. I have two Yahoo email addresses ([redacted] and [redacted]). I registered with Facebook using [redacted], but I'm getting Facebook emails at [redacted] When I click on the link to change my settings (from the [redacted] account), it takes me to my Facebook account registered with a different email. Please disconnect the [redacted] email account from any services it's linked to (Facebook, IG, etc.).

I accidentally created a duplicate Facebook page while trying to log back in. I have been unable to delete the extra page named Bat-Ami Hensen with no profile photo and only a couple of friends. Every time I log in, I keep seeing the unwanted page and cannot access my original page for days now. I have tried to follow the instructions to delete the duplicate page with no success. I am a retired technical communicator with experience in usability, but your instructions seem to be flawed. I urgently need assistance in permanently deleting the unwanted page and regaining access to my original Bat-Ami Hensen page with all my content. Your prompt help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated, ensuring that my true page is not mistakenly deleted.

I am having trouble accessing my account due to a security issue. Here's what happened: I received a text with an attachment from a friend via the messenger app, which led to my account being compromised. The corrupted text was then sent to everyone on my contact list. In response, I deleted the app. I also received a notification from Facebook about a login attempt from the Dominican Republic, which I denied. Subsequently, I uninstalled both Facebook and the messenger app. Upon attempting to reinstall, I am prompted for a security code that I never receive via email. Although I managed to change my password, the security code provided is not accepted during login. At this point, I would like to delete my account and start fresh.

I am concerned about a possible attempt to access my profile without authorization. Yesterday at 12pm PST, I tried to log in but was prompted to confirm my identity. I received a text message with a code, but after entering it, my password was reset. I was then asked to identify friends in photos but the page stopped working after multiple attempts. I suspect my account was hacked and reported, as I rely on Facebook to stay connected with family and friends. Please respond to my email, thank you. -Amanda

I suddenly found myself locked out of both Facebook and Messenger. They are now asking for a password and a code that I am unfamiliar with, in addition to my email and phone number. They even requested a government ID or a photo of myself holding a sign with the code. I have been using Facebook for two years without any issues, and now I'm unable to log in. It feels like I am trying to access top-secret information rather than my own account.

Recently, my phone was stolen from my car, which contained my Facebook account and the associated email. The thief changed both my Facebook and recovery email passwords, so I am currently locked out of both. Without access to the phone or email linked to my Facebook, I am unable to retrieve important information stored on the account. My name on Facebook is Travis Dockins, and the email associated with the account was [redacted], which I no longer have access to. Unfortunately, I do not have any trusted contacts to assist in recovering my account. I am willing to provide a picture and my Colorado State ID card to prove ownership of the account. Any assistance in recovering my account would be greatly appreciated. You can contact me at [redacted] Thank you for your help in restoring my stolen and hacked Facebook account.

Recently, a neighbor accused me of creating a fake account to harass him, resulting in him filing a restraining order against me. I have 45 days to provide evidence to the court that I did not create this account. The account in question is under the name John Appletrolls, but I do not know how to trace it. As a company, if you could assist me in resolving this matter, I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide. My reputation is at stake, and I believe this person is using your platform to harm me. Your expert assistance would be invaluable in clearing my name. Feel free to contact me at [redacted] if you require further information. My name is Jason, and I work as a contractor with heavy equipment. If I miss your call, please leave a message, and I will promptly return your call. Thank you.

Our shared Facebook and Instagram accounts have been manipulated and hacked, with changes made without our authorization. Leo J. and Janet L. Giorgio from Holliston, MA are deeply concerned about the lack of security in the communication industry. They fear that companies like Facebook do not prioritize the safety of their users. Despite reaching out to Facebook hours ago, they have not received a response, feeling frustrated by the lack of urgency in addressing security breaches. The Giorgios are considering reverting to traditional communication methods like the telephone. They express skepticism about platforms like Get Human being able to influence large corporations to prioritize human respect and security. Leo and Janet, who have been married for 50 years, are disillusioned by the decline in ethics since the Industrial Revolution and the negative impact on humanity and the planet. Despite these challenges, they send their best wishes to Get Human in their efforts to bring positive change.

I received an email from Facebook alerting me that someone was trying to access my account from NJ, even though I typically log in from Scanlon, MN. After informing Facebook that it wasn't me, I changed my password. However, I encountered issues during this process. Although I followed the instructions, I never received the SMS code from Facebook. Subsequently, I received the code via email for the password reset, but not the generator code. After being prompted to go through a selfie verification process, providing a photo of myself with a specific code, I did so twice with no response. This is the first time in the five years I've had a Facebook account that I've encountered these generator code requests. As a hairdresser relying on Facebook and Messenger to communicate with clients, I'm concerned about the situation. My name is Eda Nielsen.

I encountered a problem while using Messenger. At some point, it informed me that my session had expired and prompted me to log in again. Despite entering my password, I received a message stating it was incorrect multiple times. To be safe, I tried resetting my password. Initially, I opted for SMS recovery and received a code, but upon entering it, I encountered an "Unexpected Error" message repeatedly. I attempted to resend the code and still faced the same issue. Hoping to resolve this, I switched to email recovery, only to face the same error with the code provided. I am unsure of the next step to reset my password, especially since my account holds sentimental photos. Any guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

I added a link to my website in an ad on my business page, but for some reason, Facebook is redirecting it to the wrong website. After confirming with GoDaddy that my domain is correctly set up, it seems to be a glitch on Facebook's end. I am looking to either remove the call-to-action button on the post or have someone at Facebook fix the redirect issue. When I manually type my domain in a browser, it works fine, so I am unsure why the redirection occurs. This situation is not beneficial for my business as it leads people to the wrong page. Please contact me at [redacted] to address this matter promptly. If the problem persists, I may have to consider deleting my Facebook business page.

Hello, I am a member of a group where the admins have left and replaced them with a single fake account. The group is now chaotic and unmoderated, with concerning activities such as predatory behavior towards minors, sending nude images, harassment, and targeting the LGBT community. I have attempted to reach out to the fake admin to become a moderator and restore order in the group but have not received any responses. It is crucial to address these issues promptly to prevent the group from potentially being shut down permanently due to violating Facebook's policies on nudity, scams, and bullying. I am eager to know how I can either gain control of the group or assist in maintaining a safer environment.
