During my international trip from IAH to the Maldives Islands on July 1 with Emirates, I encountered a significant problem with my COVID test. After contacting Expedia for assistance and experiencing delays, I was rebooked for July 2 with a return on July 10 due to flight availability issues. Despite receiving a confirmation email, I did not receive new ticket numbers. When trying to check in with Emirates for the rescheduled flight, I discovered there was no flight scheduled.
I spent over 2 hours on hold and in a chat session but faced challenges with getting the itinerary sorted out promptly. Eventually, after some back and forth, I was offered an alternative on Qatar Airways departing on July 2 and returning on July 10 at an increased cost. This change also impacted my excursion plans and required an additional night's stay expense. Despite being fully vaccinated and having negative COVID test results, I had to undergo an additional costly test at a special lab to meet travel requirements. The rebooking process was time-consuming, taking hours and incurring extra fees, but I had to accept these changes to avoid losing more money. I later explored options with the resort through Expedia after my return, which was resolved 10 days after the trip.

I recently booked a flight from Los Angeles to Oaxaca, Mexico for a special vacation with my daughter. Unfortunately, our Aeromexico flight was canceled twice, causing a lot of inconvenience. I had a trip booked from Reno to San Jose del Cabo on October 6th with a return on October 20th. My outbound flight had two legs, Reno to Los Angeles and then Los Angeles to San Jose del Cabo. Alaska Airlines canceled the first leg, causing a missed connection. I contacted Expedia for a refund to my credit card, which they said was processed. However, when I checked my itinerary recently, I noticed I was given a flight credit instead of a refund. This was not what was agreed upon with the Expedia representative. I purchased a more expensive ticket due to the cancellation and would like the refund issued to my credit card. Additionally, the Travel Guard customer service stated I was overcharged for my policy, particularly the car insurance premium based on the total trip cost, not just the car rental. I request documentation for the travel insurance, car insurance, and the overcharge refund be provided to the original payment card. I have yet to receive the complete policy I purchased, only a declarations page after an extended search. I kindly ask for the full policy to be sent to me for review. Thank you.

Our scheduled flight for 9/22/[redacted] on Air Canada AC5629 from DFW to DEN at 9:13AM is actually operated by United Airlines. Because of the short layover of only 1 hour and 1 minute before our next flight to Montreal, DEN to YUL on AC1072 at 11:25AM, Air Canada recommended changing the flight to 9/21/[redacted] on Air Canada AC7662 from DFW to YYZ at 7:45AM, followed by AC896 from YYZ to ATH at 6:40PM. Air Canada has confirmed with Expedia that this change is permissible.
After contacting Expedia on July 4, [redacted], we explained the requested change and were assured that it would be processed within 48 hours. As of now, the change has not been made. If Expedia is unable to assist with this adjustment, we are hopeful they can help by rescheduling our original DFW to DEN flight for an earlier time or providing the correct booking confirmation for our United Airlines flight so we can select seats closer to the front of the plane rather than the current back seats that are assigned.

I am trying to change a hotel booking because the guest cannot enter Canada from the USA. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach Expedia. It is very frustrating as they do not make it easy to speak with someone to resolve this issue and change the reservation dates. I have tried calling all the contact numbers for Expedia and even attempted to do it online, but I have had no luck reaching them for assistance. Their customer service has been very poor in this situation. My advice would be to avoid booking through them in the future.

I booked a round trip shuttle service through Expedia with SpeediShuttle for transportation from Lihue Airport to Princeville, HI. On the journey to the condo, the driver missed the turn and we got stuck in construction traffic for almost two hours, turning a 45-minute trip into over 3 hours. When arranging the return trip for July 5th to catch a flight to Oakland, the driver never arrived at the correct location, causing us to arrange alternative transportation last minute to avoid missing our flight. After the driver oversleeping, I was unable to reach anyone at SpeediShuttle for assistance. Despite being promised a refund for the missed service, I have been unable to contact Casey Balloa or get a response to my emails. I am requesting a refund to my PayPal account for at least half of the charges due to the failed return service that I had prepaid for.

I received an email last night on 7/19/[redacted] at 8:47 PM regarding an Expedia flight purchase confirmation for a trip from New York, NY, United States (LGA-LaGuardia) on Tue, Aug 3. The itinerary number is redacted. The reservation status shows as pending, and I was instructed to check back in 24 hours. However, when I tried to access the information today on the Expedia website under my name "Elizabeth", it prompted me to enter my email, but then stated that the email couldn't be found. I also received a "Thanks for your purchase" email today at the same email address. Upon contacting the virtual agent, I was informed that there were no bookings, although my bank card shows pending charges for the round-trip tickets from CAE to LGA for 8/3-8/6/21, including cancellation insurance. Despite these charges and email notifications, the virtual assistant claims there is no record of the trip. As an active duty military member, I was transported back from Italy for my mother's funeral in December [redacted]. I reserved a suite at the Clearwater Suite Hotel in Fort McMurray through Expedia. After driving for 4.5 hours, we arrived just in time for the 3AM check-in. It was pet friendly and had a two-bedroom suite, perfect for our stay. However, when my partner and our dog arrived, the desk attendant was surprised as our booking didn't mention the pet. Expedia did not ask about pets nor provide a comment section for it, only stating they were pet friendly. The clerk then informed us of a $[redacted] deposit instead of the previously mentioned $[redacted] and a 25lb weight restriction, which was not listed on Expedia. Since our dog exceeded the weight limit, we had to find another hotel at an early hour. Eventually, we found a room at the Nomad Hotel, although it was not the type we had initially booked. On Wednesday, July 21, [redacted], I called to change my travel date and spoke to JB or JD, but had trouble understanding them. I requested my return flight to Houston IAH be changed to Thursday for both me and my husband, which they said would cost $[redacted] total. However, upon receiving a confirmation, I realized my flight hadn't been changed. The following morning, I tried calling again but had difficulty getting a proper response from Expedia's end. Eventually, I spoke to Owen, who informed me that my return flight had not been confirmed by JB or JD, and he refunded the $[redacted]. Despite requesting the date change again, Owen also failed to modify my flight. Dealing with these incompetent employees over the span of two days was extremely frustrating. Despite being a loyal Expedia customer for years, this experience has left me disillusioned. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was informed none were available, which was disappointing. Getting assistance has been a challenging process, and I am now reconsidering using Expedia in the future.
