My wife and I, Dan Halfhill, experienced a delay on Delta Flight [redacted] from SLC to CVG on June 19. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn SLC Downtown on June 19 to June 20 due to the delay. Delta needs the receipt for our stay to process a refund. The hotel directed us to contact Expedia for the receipt. However, after reaching out to Expedia with reservation number [redacted], they claimed it was invalid. We received an email confirmation from RoomStorm, but attempts to follow up were unsuccessful. The hotel mentions that they have the receipt. We urgently require the receipt to be sent to us for reimbursement. Any assistance in resolving this matter promptly would be greatly appreciated.

I reside in Juneau, AK, where transport options are limited to boats or planes. Our scheduled ferry trip with Alaska Marine Highway System to drive to Anchorage got canceled due to the ship being dry-docked for repairs. The hotel, booked through Expedia, was understanding and canceled our reservation without a charge despite Expedia already billing us. My attempt to clarify Expedia's policy via chat led me to unknowingly cancel our booking, forfeiting any chance of a refund. Contrarily, Alaska Airlines provided a credit when I had to cancel a flight. I seek clarification on why Expedia handles cancellations differently. While checking in at Comfort Inn, the receptionist suggested booking my room online via Expedia. However, upon submitting my information, the website timed out, resulting in two bookings. I am in need of technical support. The email associated with my main Expedia account, [redacted], no longer exists, preventing me from accessing any emails sent there. After making three bookings and updating my email to [redacted], as well as changing my password, I found myself unable to log in again. Attempts using the new email open a guest account inadvertently created. I require access to my account to adjust or cancel a booking, but the system sends notifications to the old email address. Despite updating my email and saving the changes, I am stuck in a cycle. I seek assistance from customer or tech support to delete the guest account and update my real account email to josé@premierbatteries.com. Please contact my spouse or me using the details provided. I made a reservation for a room at Club Sevilla yesterday. When I arrived to check in, they couldn't find my booking. After waiting for 40 minutes, I checked online and saw it was canceled, which I did not do. I had to wait for 3 hours to speak to someone, who confirmed I would be refunded. However, I wanted to rebook for the next day but got disconnected after being placed on hold. When I called back and waited for another 1 hour and 47 minutes, the call was abruptly ended. This situation is unfair and needs to be addressed promptly. I am requesting a $[redacted] refund. They directed me to contact Delta, and the back and forth has been quite chaotic. Due to health issues with my legs and knees, I rely on wheelchair assistance and unfortunately, I now have to cancel my upcoming flights due to my condition worsening. I've spent a total of 9 hours on calls in the past two days trying to resolve this. I kindly request assistance in canceling and refunding my two upcoming flights booked through your company. I made a travel reservation through Expedia on November 6, [redacted], from San Juan, Puerto Rico to JFK, NY to travel on March 27, [redacted]. Due to the pandemic, Expedia informed me via email on May 8, [redacted], that JetBlue has issued me 4 credits of $[redacted].70 each. However, the email did not mention the expiration date of these credits. When I recently tried to use the credits for a new booking through Expedia, I encountered difficulties. After contacting Expedia's chat assistance, they advised me to reach out to JetBlue directly. Unfortunately, my attempts to contact JetBlue via phone and in person at the airport were unsuccessful. When I contacted Expedia once more, they informed me that the credits had expired. I requested them to escalate this issue as I was not informed about an expiration date by either Expedia or JetBlue. I have been trying to modify my already departed flight since 12 pm today, this being the second time needed to change it. On June 21st, I had a hotel reservation in San Diego, California under Ana I Perez with reservation number [redacted][redacted]. Due to health reasons, I was unable to make it to the hotel. I called the hotel the day before to cancel, but they claimed there were no reservations under my name. However, I was charged for the night on my credit card. I contacted customer service multiple times, and they directed me to the hotel. After several attempts, I reached out to Holiday Inn customer service who informed me that you were the agency I booked through. I am expecting a refund from you as it is not my fault the hotel couldn't find my reservation. I followed the correct procedures, and it's unfair to pay for a stay I couldn't use due to health reasons. Following my trip, I had to seek medical attention. I made a reservation through Expedia for a stay at Embassy Suites By Hilton San Francisco Airport Waterfront from 06/22/21 to 06/25/21. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find that none of the amenities were open, despite San Francisco fully reopening on June 15th. Additionally, the air conditioner was not functional, the bathtub didn't drain properly, there was no vent fan in the bathroom, our room was not cleaned or restocked throughout our stay, and we were unable to use the pool as it was reserved for swimming lessons instead of hotel guests. I feel it's unfair that we didn't receive the services we paid for and would like a full refund. I have already tried contacting Hilton without success. I believe contacting the BBB may be necessary to resolve this issue. I just hope for fairness and accountability in this situation. Thank you. Terry McMeechan.

I made a hotel reservation at the Scottish Inn through Expedia for my son, but upon arrival, he was asked for a $50 cash deposit, which was not mentioned at the time of booking. I had to cancel the reservation because he didn't have the cash. The hotel owner confirmed the cancellation on his end, but Expedia didn't reflect it. I've been trying to check the status and the refund, but the website shows the itinerary as wrong. I can't reach a human representative, and the automated service keeps disconnecting me when I can't input the correct itinerary number. My reservation was confirmed for the wrong year, and I am certain that I entered the correct date. The error is on the part of Hotels.com, not me. Due to the no refund policy, I understand if I cannot get my money back, but this was not my mistake. I tried contacting customer service, but the virtual agents were not helpful and the call back option did not work. My booking confirmation number is [redacted] for Hilton Garden Inn Des Moines West.
