Dear Epic Games,
I am writing to express my concern about the recent changes in the Fortnite Battle Royale patch notes that have resulted in a slower building pace. This adjustment has sparked significant controversy among prominent streamers like Freshasian and JDCourage, as well as many players, myself included. While I appreciate the intention to level the playing field for new users, the unintended consequence seems to be a decline in player retention rather than an increase in engagement. By tampering with the foundational building mechanics, you risk alienating long-time players and causing a negative ripple effect on the game's community. Fortnite has not only been a top-ranked game but has also facilitated the formation of friendships among its players. Your decision could potentially disrupt these social connections. I urge you to consider reverting to the original building speed to maintain the game's integrity and player base.
Thank you,
A Concerned Player

Hello everyone, I have been facing an issue for the last seven updates that nobody has been able to help me with. The problem is specifically related to lag in multiplayer modes like duos and squads in Fortnite, but not in solos. This lag appears to be related to input lag rather than FPS drops. When I try to move my character forward, for example, there is a significant delay between pressing the key and the actual movement occurring. Despite playing on low settings with similar hardware and internet setup to my brother who experiences no lag, I continue to struggle with this issue. Even in the new Getaway mode, the lag persists. I've reached out to Epic twice for support but have only received automated responses. Interestingly, when I use a controller instead of a keyboard and mouse, the lag disappears, though I prefer not to play on console.

A few months back, I merged my cousin's PS4 Fortnite account with my Xbox Fortnite account. This caused his account to be disabled, and his skins to transfer to mine. Recently, while playing on a Friday night, I received a message about being logged in elsewhere. I assumed it was my cousin. After getting logged out, I was prompted to link an account or skip the step, something I had never encountered before in my two years of playing. I skipped the link and lost all my skins, V-Bucks, and progress. I reached out to Epic Games via email for help but the provided steps were unsuccessful. Checking with my cousin, I found that my skins and progress were on his PS4 account. I attempted to link his Epic account to my Xbox without success. I can now only access my account on mobile. I am hoping to have my Epic account reconnected to my Xbox.

Hello, I am writing to bring attention to the fact that the creator "itsRunix" has a creator code associated with his Instagram account "sovereignly" that has over [redacted] followers. However, the issue arises as around 80-90% of these followers appear to be bots that were purchased. This can be easily identified by the large number of foreign followers who do not seem genuine. "itsRunix" has a history of buying followers on platforms like Twitter, evident from his follower count not correlating with engagement on his posts. Additionally, on the German dating platform "Knuddels.de," he is known as "Egozentrisch" and cheats in games. It would be appreciated if the creator code could be reconsidered, as it is unfair to honest creators who work diligently for this recognition. Sincerely, Felix Scheidhauer

Someone unauthorized accessed my account and deleted it. Despite having 2FA enabled, the user "Hórny" managed to delete my account on September 15th. I had to create a new account with the same email address, [redacted] I'm worried about my Fortnite progress as I had completed battle passes from season 2 to 9, reached season X, had around [redacted] V-Bucks, and spent over $[redacted] on the account. Can you assist in recovering my account and the progress that was deleted? Thank you.

Good evening,
After the latest update to the Epic Games Launcher, it's not updating and shows the message "Not connected to the internet." I have tried restarting the WiFi, my PC, and even using my phone's hotspot, but nothing has worked. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.
Thank you.
Troubleshooting steps taken:
- Created exceptions for the Epic Games Launcher in all Anti-Virus software and Firewall settings
- Checked and opened ports 80, [redacted] (https), and [redacted] if blocked
- Deleted Launcher cache
- Re-installed the Epic Games Launcher and Fortnite.
Thank you for your help.

I have been communicating since August regarding a refund of $[redacted] for a hacked account on my Visa. Despite sending multiple emails, I have not received any responses. I requested the secure email be sent to a different email address due to issues with the school email not receiving messages. My ID is [redacted]7. I submitted all VISA transactions, which were acknowledged, but no action has been taken. I urgently need the $[redacted] refunded as promised. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of response and customer service. I have already contacted unsuccessfully, and if this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate it further.

A while back, I unknowingly created an account using (email one). More recently, I created a new account with (email two) to play Fortnite without realizing I already had an account. I then bought Borderlands 3 on this new account. However, my new account with the game was unexpectedly deactivated. After communicating via email, I was informed that the deactivation was due to a violation of the terms. I suspect the similarity between my old and new accounts led to this issue. Additionally, I discovered that what I thought was (email two) might actually be (email three). During my correspondence with Epic Games Customer Support, it appeared that emails to both addresses ended up in the same inbox, suggesting I might have been forwarding messages between them at some point.

Good morning. I recently discovered unauthorized purchases made by my son on 09/16/19 for the dark bundle pack and red strike starter pack for season X using my cc info. I only noticed these charges today when I checked my bank account. I am requesting a refund for these purchases my son made without my permission. I appreciate your assistance. Thank you and have a nice day.
P.S. I previously emailed support today and provided my son's account info as requested, but I have not received any updates. I apologize for being persistent, but I hope to resolve this issue promptly to avoid losing my money.

My Epic Games account, used for playing games through the Epic Games Launcher and Fortnite on Xbox, has been compromised. I discovered this when a friend saw someone else on my account and contacted me. The hacker is adding friends to my account and kicking me out when I try to play Fortnite. Despite activating two-factor verification, the issue persists. I don't want to lose my progress and purchases in Fortnite. Any assistance would be appreciated. If you need more details, please reach out via email.

I made two Fortnite skin pack purchases through the app on 9/24/19. Even though the purchase history shows it, the skins didn't appear in the game or in 'my locker.' I reached out to Epic via [redacted] on 9/25. They redirected me to Apple, who then redirected me back to Epic, claiming the purchase was successful. Despite this, I contacted Epic again on 9/27 after explaining the situation. I was informed on 9/28 that their team would investigate further. Disappointingly, on 9/30, I received a survey but no resolution. It's frustrating that after four days, I'm still stuck without a solution, unable to speak with anyone directly. I'm looking for assistance to quickly resolve or refund my $42.78 from Epic Games.

Hello, I recently encountered an issue with my long-standing account where I unintentionally clicked on something in the lobby and ended up on a link account page. Despite attempting to exit by clicking randomly, the app redirected me to a new account under my name, with all my previous data missing. It also reset my settings, which I can't recall completely. I am hoping for assistance to recover my lost information and revert my settings to their prior state. Any guidance on resolving this matter would be greatly valued.

This morning, when I opened the Epic Games Launcher, I noticed all my game progress had vanished. I had three characters with levels 50, 23, and 9 each. Epic Support responded via email, asking for a screenshot of my in-game stats to investigate further, despite their initial inspection suggesting no issues on their end. This situation is frustrating as I had approximately 30 hours of gameplay spread across three characters, yet the cloud data only reflects 7 minutes with one character at level 1. If this progress cannot be restored, it may lead to me discontinuing my support and playing altogether. Any advice on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've been experiencing significant issues with my Epic Games Launcher when it comes to game updates. Despite having a decent internet speed averaging around 1mb-5mb, the download process for updates ranging from 50mb to 2gb takes an unusually long time, about 6-10 hours. I suspect that there could be an inherent problem with how the launcher handles downloads. I've attempted to resolve this by allowing the application through various ports it typically uses and adjusting the file settings for chunk downloads. Moreover, I've experimented with changing my DNS settings to an open DNS, unfortunately without success.

My son's Fortnite account is linked to his dad's email, [redacted], and he wants to transfer his skins from his PS4 to his mobile phone. Despite our efforts, we can't access his account on mobile due to not receiving the 2-step verification code. We're unsure which phone number is associated with the account as we can't log in. I attempted to create another account with a different email but suspect we now have two accounts with the same email address.

Hello, my name is Marcie Porter. I have been trying to resolve an issue for my son, who has special needs, since last Thursday. Despite sending all the necessary information multiple times, the problem remains unresolved. They keep requesting information, causing frustration as I've already submitted it repeatedly. The password they sent was directed to an incorrectly spelled email, "[redacted]," while the correct one is "[redacted]" My son was saving up to buy a skin bundle on eBay which expired at midnight, resulting in him missing out without a refund. I urge Epic Games to compensate by granting him the Ikonic skin bundle for free. This situation has greatly upset my son, Koltyn Porter. His account name is "public-spider547." Despite not having the ticket number presently, I will retrieve it from the emails they have sent. Thank you, Marcie Porter.

Hello, I am a returning player of Fortnite, a game by Epic Games. Recently, I tried to log in to my account after a long break, only to find out that the account linked to the Epic Games Launcher is no longer valid. Unfortunately, I have also lost access to the email associated with the account, making it impossible for me to recover it. I have invested money in Fortnite and have all my billing details, but without access, I am at a loss. I urgently need assistance to regain control of my account, as there is sensitive billing information stored there. I can provide any necessary information to verify my identity. I hope to receive a response soon.

My debit card company made a mistake and charged me twice for a year of PS Plus, refusing to refund me. I canceled the purchase, leading to my PSN account being banned. I need to transfer my Epic Games account to another PSN account because Season X is ending soon, and I haven't completed all the challenges. I've invested a lot of money in the account and don't want to lose it. I have access to the original email and can answer any necessary questions. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
