I recently returned from a holiday in Marrakech and unfortunately experienced a theft in the hotel. While dealing with the situation, I found the assistance from the Easyjet rep, named Madani, to be extremely disappointing. He seemed unhelpful and unresponsive, only communicating through WhatsApp. The hotel manager, Mr. Fred, also showed a dismissive attitude towards our situation and refused to involve the police. Despite claiming to investigate the theft, the hotel provided no updates and denied any incidents occurred, even though it was not an isolated case. Additionally, there was a safety hazard caused by maintenance workers leaving a hole uncovered, leading to another guest's injury. These series of events have left me feeling let down and dissatisfied with the service provided by both the hotel and the Easyjet representative. I hope these issues can be addressed promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Ian Whitfield

Dear Forum Members, I am reaching out because I am encountering a significant issue with changing passenger names on my flight bookings with Easyjet. I have a return flight booked to Tenerife on 20th May for myself, Linda S., and my husband, Barrington S., along with his sister, Julie W., and her husband, Michael W. Unfortunately, due to Michael W.'s health issues, they are unable to travel. I have been attempting to make the necessary changes to move them to our booking for 23rd September under reference K2N2M1J, but I have faced multiple challenges. I have tried to resolve this issue online, via email, Chatbot, phone calls, and even through Facebook Messenger. Despite my efforts, I have not received a proper response or assistance from Easyjet. As a long-time customer who has always been satisfied with Easyjet's service, I am disappointed by the lack of support I am currently experiencing. Any advice or assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Linda S.

I had to cancel my flight with the airline due to health issues. They requested a doctor's note, which I promptly provided. Despite the challenging circumstances of obtaining a same-day medical appointment, I managed to speak with a nurse who advised against visiting the medical center due to the contagious nature of my symptoms. The doctor issued the required letter, which I promptly sent to EasyJet. Recently, I received an email notifying me that instead of the full voucher promised by the customer service representative, I would only be receiving a refund of £13 for taxes. This differs from the verbal assurance I was given. If more details are needed from me, please let me know. I am uncertain about the exact requirements for further assistance. Thank you, M. Ioannou

During our EasyJet holiday from the 4th to the 11th of May [redacted], my group of four experienced a distressing flight from Belfast to Tenerife, Spain on Flight EZY6763. We found ourselves situated between two rowdy hen parties, with intoxicated individuals being served alcohol excessively by the cabin crew. The chaotic scene included loud noise, items being thrown, and a lack of adherence to face mask regulations. One of the males involved even made physical contact with me, causing discomfort and a feeling of intrusion. Despite the disruptive behavior, the staff did not intervene or prevent further disturbances, leading to a very unpleasant journey for us. As passengers in our seventies, with one member recovering from heart surgery, the ordeal was particularly distressing. I am considering filing a complaint, as this experience has left me deeply disappointed and has soured my opinion of EasyJet as a holiday option.

My travel experience took an unexpected turn on the way back from Liverpool. After receiving an email notification from easyJet about our canceled flight to Jersey, we found ourselves stranded at the hotel with a new flight scheduled only for Wednesday. The airline kindly arranged a hotel stay near the airport, which was less than ideal for us. Opting to head to Wigan to stay with family, we faced additional challenges. With limited belongings and resources, we had to purchase essential clothing, meals, and transportation for the extended stay. The hotel booking mishap upon our return on Tuesday night added to our frustrations, requiring us to take further action at the airport. This ordeal was both taxing and financially straining, necessitating us to borrow money to cover unforeseen expenses. Despite finally reaching Jersey with a one-hour delay on Wednesday, seeking compensation under EU and UK regulations is now a priority to address the unexpected hardships we encountered during this journey.

I need information regarding the K31VZ8P flight booked from Barcelona to Bristol last night. The situation we, as passengers, were in from check-in to the early morning hotel breakfast took 11 hours, and from landing to reaching the hotel it took 5 hours. Throughout this timeframe, no water was offered to any passengers. This negligence raises concerns about easyJet's duty of care responsibilities. The absence of water for 5 hours and no food for 11 hours in 25°C weather shows a significant failure in duty of care. While I understand the mechanical issues with the plane and the challenges in arranging accommodation and transportation for all passengers, it does not excuse easyJet from meeting its legal obligations to ensure the well-being of passengers during this process. I am eager to hear why easyJet failed its duty of care in this instance and what measures will be implemented to prevent a recurrence. It should be noted that communication regarding pickup times, provision of meals, and overall information has been lacking, adding to the frustration of the situation.

We have Gatwick to China flights booked departing on 6/7/22 returning on 16/7/22 for our family reunion vacation. Due to Covid-19, we couldn't travel in July [redacted]. This year, some family members are still facing travel restrictions. Furthermore, my brother-in-law in the USA needs surgery and won't be able to join. We need to reschedule our family holiday to Summer [redacted]. I've noticed there may be charges for changing our bookings. My husband and I have paid for all the tickets, hoping to avoid extra fees for altering the 14 return flight tickets. Your guidance on this matter would be highly appreciated. I accidentally booked two tickets from MXP to NAP for June 18 instead of June 25. Upon realizing this, I tried to change the date on the website, but was informed about a $59 "change fee" per ticket, nearly the same as the original ticket cost. Facing this, I opted to cancel the tickets within the 24-hour window for a "Full Refund." However, upon cancellation, an administrative fee similar to the ticket cost was mentioned. I am urging Easy Jet to either waive the rescheduling fee to change the date or the cancellation fee as per the website's "full refund" policy. I have encountered difficulties reaching customer service via phone and seek prompt assistance.

My son's flight from Hamburg was abruptly canceled last evening. He was then put on a flight from Berlin this morning, only to discover it was overbooked at check-in. Despite passing through security and duty-free, he was abandoned by EasyJet staff at Schonefeld airport without guidance on his onward journey to Gatwick. He is receiving no assistance. Could you advise on whom he should contact at the airport as the EasyJet staff are not helpful? Additionally, he anticipates significant compensation. How can he proceed with his claim?

I have been trying to reach the Customer Sales team for the past five days without any luck. Even email responses are bouncing back. I am facing a difficult situation as my husband underwent emergency open-heart surgery, which is preventing us from traveling to Greece with our daughter, T.L. van Deventer. I am submitting the letter from my husband's heart surgeon, our marriage certificate, and our daughter's birth certificate to support my request to either cancel or reschedule our booking to Greece for a later date when we can travel. I need to stay in South Africa to care for my husband during his recovery, as confirmed by the specialist. I kindly ask for your help in converting our tickets to open tickets or scheduling for the same date next year (3 June [redacted]) for Athens. I am willing to pay any fare difference required. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Elizabeth Anne W.

Booking Reference: K3LGW28, Flight: EZY8521 I recently booked a holiday through Love Holiday's website, selecting Easyjet flights. I specifically paid to choose seats for both outbound and inbound flights on the website. However, my email confirmation shows that seats have been auto-allocated for Mr. PAUL UDEN and Mrs. SARAH UDEN. I am concerned about being separated from my husband and would like to ensure that my chosen seats have been confirmed. Furthermore, I was surprised to learn that the included baggage must fit under the seat. Is there a way to obtain larger baggage allowances for overhead lockers or add a suitcase to our booking? I would appreciate if you could assist me in contacting Love Holiday directly to confirm my paid seat selection and address my concerns regarding the baggage allocation. Your prompt response before our departure on Wednesday would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, S.U.

I have been trying to contact the Customer Sales team without success. Even the email address bounces back. My husband had emergency open-heart surgery, so I can no longer travel to Greece with my daughter, TL. I've attached the heart surgeon's letter, our marriage certificate, and my daughter's birth certificate. I am requesting to cancel or convert our booking to an open ticket or for the same day next year (03 June [redacted]) due to my husband's recovery. I will pay any fare difference required. Your assistance is appreciated. Thank you, Elizabeth Anne W.

Good morning, I need assistance with my flight booking K3HTB54 from Bordeaux to Manchester on June 20. I changed my return flight due to a medical appointment and purchased a new easyJet ticket under booking K3J1CMZ for an earlier date. Despite purchasing insurance with my original ticket, I am unable to cancel the flight without being charged a rebooking fee. I tried to reschedule for a later date but encountered additional charges. I would like help modifying this reservation regarding costs, refunds for extras, and the option to potentially change the booking for the next year. I am unable to cancel online and seek the most cost-effective solution. Thank you for your anticipated assistance. Regards, NP

I am having trouble accessing my account as the system claims my email is invalid, yet I received a booking confirmation at that same email address. I need to arrange special assistance for my husband, Malcolm Hill, and provide passport details. The system also flagged my phone number as invalid. I am traveling to Faro, Portugal from September 24th to October 4th, [redacted], with the flight reference K3M4RKB. I have attempted to contact customer service without success, as I keep getting redirected to voicemail. I'm hoping to resolve these issues promptly so we can secure the necessary arrangements either online or over the phone. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Maria Hill.

I need assistance with a lost bag left at Berlin airport for 11 days belonging to Mr. Matthew Barnsley from flight EZY8121/31MAY. The bag receipt tag number is 0[redacted]16. It's a yellow waterproof kit bag with a roll top and a padlock. We need it to be returned to the UK at 25 Mosse Gardens, Chichester PO193PQ. We've exhausted other options and are really in need of help to retrieve it.

I'm hoping this is an easy fix. My booking reference is K3HQ1VK. I'm looking to have one cabin bag (to be placed in the overhead lockers) and one checked bag (weighing 23kg) allocated between us for both the departure and return flights. Unfortunately, despite my efforts, the online system is not allowing me to do this. Currently, there are no cabin or checked bags assigned for us on the outbound flight, and two large cabin bags and checked bags noted for the return journey. Please assist me in changing this so that we have one cabin bag and one checked bag between us for both flights. Thank you in advance. You can reach me via email at [redacted] and my phone number is [redacted].

Regarding Regulatory expense case Reference ID: [redacted]99: Our flight scheduled for the 26th of May from Venice to Amsterdam was canceled due to software issues. I submitted a claim for the full cost of the canceled flights, both outbound and return. Despite requesting a cash refund, a voucher was provided instead. Additionally, I sought reimbursement for various expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation. This included a three-day parking booking in Venice, a two-night hotel reservation in Amsterdam, and a €30 taxi fare from the hotel provided back to the airport due to the lack of a transfer service. We also had toll and fuel expenses. The refund received so far only covers €43.60 for meals, which is incorrect. Please reassess this situation promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Warm regards, S.K.

My wife, Mrs. Susan C., was denied boarding on the EasyJet flight with booking reference K38VD1S due to the plane's capacity issues and not having paid for extras like quick boarding or a seat selection since she was traveling alone. This resulted in her and approximately 40 others being unable to fly to Murcia International Airport, escorted out by security. Despite booking an alternative flight with British Airways for the next day and spending the night at the airport, our claim for reimbursement (Ref ID [redacted]00 / Case ID [redacted]72) was rejected on grounds of a No Show. EasyJet also offered €[redacted] to switch flights earlier, but I declined as she was traveling for her birthday with family. I believe rejecting the claim and not providing a detailed response is unjust treatment by EasyJet. If needed, I can be reached at my Spanish number +34 [redacted]11. Sincerely, Ken C. (Booking Holder). EasyJet should reconsider and honor my legitimate claim promptly.

I requested a voucher initially, and your response was 'Your request is being processed' many months ago. ANTONY J. B. and DORIS R. B., on Flight EZY [redacted] on April 16, [redacted], and June 11, [redacted]. Initially, we considered utilizing the voucher for a package holiday, but this option has been withdrawn. Could we now receive a refund of £[redacted].92?
