I have insurance that should cover my trip expenses, including hotels and tours, but they require proof from the airline that my flight was canceled and that they couldn't rebook me. I have been attempting to contact the customer service hotline at 1-[redacted], but I am constantly receiving a voicemail indicating that all lines are busy, and I am unable to wait on hold as the call is being disconnected automatically. We are scheduled to fly from San Francisco to the Philippines on May 12 and return on July 12 with a party of 4. I am concerned about the escalating tensions between China and Taiwan and how this may impact our upcoming flight. I am facing an issue with my flights from EVA Airways and JetBlue. On April 11, six passengers, including myself, missed our connecting flight #31 at JFK Airport due to a delay by JetBlue. JetBlue at JFK Airport found us reservations on other airlines but they need EVA Airways to release our tickets for the exchange to be completed. I have tried contacting EVA Airways via phone and in person at JFK Airport with no success. I urgently require assistance to resolve this matter promptly as we are on a business trip to Hong Kong. I am trying to reach out to EVA Air over the phone to discuss upgrading my reservation. Unfortunately, the lines are consistently busy, and I have been disconnected without being placed on a waiting list. My son traveled from London, England to Thailand yesterday with a layover in Dubai. Despite his arrival in Thailand, his luggage tagged with reference number BO068 did not make it. Unfortunately, I have not been able to connect as the phone lines are always busy, and I keep receiving a message to call back later before being disconnected. It's quite frustrating that airline companies in North America lack proper customer service for phone inquiries. I have used Eva Air for my flights to Asia in the past, but this experience has made me reconsider using their services in the future.
When I booked my flight on the Eva Air website, I was not given the option to provide my passport number and Known Traveler Number for Pre-Check. I want to ensure that my boarding pass includes my Known Traveler Number TT1159QBB.

I am writing to report a loss that occurred during my recent flight on April 12, [redacted], from Taipei (TPE) to Los Angeles (LAX) on ticket number [redacted][redacted]. I was seated in 62B. Unfortunately, I misplaced my Burberry scarf, a long winter style, from inside my carry-on suitcase. The scarf was in the unlocked pockets of my bag. I have searched through my belongings multiple times, but it seems to be missing. My carry-on bag was with me all the way until boarding at the EVA Airline counter, where I accepted assistance to have it shipped as part of their service.
As a long-time loyal customer of EVA Airline, I have always been satisfied with your services, except for the challenges faced in [redacted] due to the pandemic. This Burberry scarf holds sentimental value for me and is worth over US$[redacted]. I believe it must still be inside my suitcase, given its woolen and thick nature. I am reaching out regarding the delayed luggage under folios KULBR13250/51/52/53/5. We are still without our belongings after a lengthy journey. Despite inquiries on the 3rd at the hotel lobby, no information on its arrival was provided.
I must clarify that the message you reference regarding the backpack does not pertain to my son Andres, who did not travel with us. As there is no mention of his name or number in any claim forms, we seek formal confirmation or details of the hotel staff member who may have taken it so we can locate the item.
The delay caused us to miss the Kuala Lumpur tour and spend the day shopping for essentials, a task made harder for us, particularly the women. We had to purchase three pieces of luggage on the last day.
We now seek assistance in obtaining compensation for the delay, conducting a thorough investigation to recover the lost luggage, avoiding any legal claims per the Montevideo agreement. Your prompt response and guidance are much appreciated.

I need to cancel my son's reservation as his passport won't arrive on time. The Booking Reference is 5ZKQIM with EVA Air. My spouse and I reside in Redding, California, at the far northern part of the state. We reserved a flight for our daughter who lives in the Philippines to visit us for a few weeks. After making the booking and receiving confirmation, we were informed that our daughter would need my spouse's credit card to board the plane due to us living in the United States. The only solution presented was to visit one of your offices to verify the credit card and our identity. Since your only California office is over [redacted] miles away, it is not feasible for us to visit. Our attempts to contact your Los Angeles office were unsuccessful as all operators were busy handling other customers during the 16-hour period when I placed 41 calls. Consequently, we had to cancel the flight with EVA and seek a refund that EVA declined to provide, even though the ticket was exclusively associated with EVA airlines. The experience was stressful, and based on this incident, I cannot recommend your airline to others.
To improve service for future customers, consider opening more offices in California, ideally smaller offices with a few staff members that could handle situations like the credit card issue. Additionally, hiring more operators to manage the volume of calls would be beneficial since customers facing difficulties in reaching your representatives might lead to lost business.

Hello! I have booked a flight to Cambodia. The airline requests the original credit card used for booking at check-in. Unfortunately, my card was stolen and replaced. The flight has been charged and confirmed through my bank. I am unsure if a replacement card or my bank statements confirming the purchase will be accepted.
I read that if a 3DS authentication process is used by the bank to confirm the transaction, the credit card may not need to be presented. If this is the case and the charge is confirmed, do I still need to show the stolen credit card at check-in? Thank you.

I departed from Bangkok today on EVA Air flight BR075 to Amsterdam at 12.35 pm. I sat in seat 61B in the back part of departure hall G2 against the glass. Unfortunately, upon takeoff, I realized I no longer had my black Samsung Galaxy S22 in a leather Otterbox cover. The IMEI number is [redacted][redacted]. My Balinese SIM card and inactive Vodafone card are in the phone, along with my ING bank card and driver's license. The phone seems to be still at the gate according to the find my device app. Could you please check with the staff at Bangkok airport if they have found it? I’ve attached screenshots for reference.

I recently booked a flight through Priceline for July 17, [redacted], and was informed of flight changes with confirmation number ZMSFQB. Despite numerous attempts to contact you for a waver code by June 17, [redacted], I have not received a response. Consequently, I had to request Priceline to cancel my flight as I couldn't wait any longer. They assured me of a refund within 3-5 business days, which I am yet to receive as of June 24, [redacted]. Priceline indicated they require a code from you to process the refund. Due to your office hours, I am unable to reach you on a Saturday, and time is limited as I have a flight on Monday. Kindly assist by providing Priceline with the necessary cancellation code promptly.
