My friend was not allowed to board her flight in Bangkok even though she had no visa and was transiting from MKK to Vienna through BKK. Immigration was going to let her go, but the airline refused. She was only staying in Bangkok for 6-8 hours, less than 24 hours. Eva Air would not let her proceed to the other airport as she lacked a valid visa. Immigration released her, but when they contacted Eva Air, she was denied boarding, so Immigration prevented her from leaving.

I have been trying to reach EVA Air customer service without success. Despite multiple attempts, all I received was a busy tone followed by being disconnected. It would be beneficial for EVA customer service to offer a callback option for customers waiting in line. My current issue, attempting to upgrade my ticket, remains unresolved. Even the online chat directed me back to the same customer service number for assistance.

After three days of unsuccessful attempts to reach EVA, I was finally able to leave my number for a call back. They did call back and resolved my issue, although it did disrupt a meeting. Grateful for the assistance in the end.

I urgently need assistance for my upcoming travel from Manila (MNL) to Indianapolis (IND) with a layover in Taipei (TPE) and Seattle (SEA). My Air Asia flight Z2 [redacted] is delayed and now scheduled to depart at 15:45 instead of the original time of 13:40. This delay may cause me to arrive in Manila around 17:15.
I kindly request additional support to reach the gate for my connecting flight BR278, departing at 18:45. I have two checked bags with AirAsia that I must retrieve before boarding EVA Airlines. At present, I have not obtained the boarding pass for BR278. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I reserved a flight for my daughter to Singapore leaving in December [redacted] from SFO. Recently, she received a new passport. When I made the booking, I inputted her old passport number. Now, I am attempting to contact EVA Air to update the passport number in her reservation. Despite calling 1 [redacted] for the past two days, I keep receiving a message to try again. I wanted to share my recent experience flying with EVA on September 26, [redacted]. My flight was BR 62 from Taipei to Seattle departing at 11:40 pm. I had seat 45H. Despite missing the first meal because I was asleep and noticing a reminder sticker about it, I didn't feel hungry and didn't inquire. When the second meal service came with a choice between Chinese porridge and Western pasta, I opted for the porridge as I don't eat pasta. Unfortunately, I was told they only had pasta left, so I returned it, explaining my dietary preference. The crew apologized and took the plate without further assistance. I've had better service with Japan Airlines on flights to Seattle, where they offered alternative food options even if limited. I flew EVA due to a friend's recommendation but hope for better service on my return trip from Seattle to Taipei. Thank you.

I am currently traveling and unable to contact EVA Air's customer service by phone. Unfortunately, EVA Air does not provide an email service for customer support, which is why I am reaching out here. I need assistance with the changes that my wife and I made to our flights purchased in May, June, and July of this year.

In May/June [redacted], I had to make significant changes to my travel plans which led to the cancellation of a one-night reservation at Marriott Houston Airport. Despite canceling three weeks before my stay and within 48 hours of booking, Marriott has refused to issue a refund.
As a long-time loyal Bonvoy member, I am disappointed by this decision. It is unfair to deny a refund for a cancellation made well in advance.
I have been unable to reach Marriott Hotel IAH directly via email for assistance or to contact Bonvoy. Being located outside the U.S., I am unable to call the hotel, which adds to my frustration.

My father-in-law is currently in the Philippines with my wife, and they initially had different return flight dates. However, he now wishes to return early with my wife.
Ticket # [redacted][redacted] (Godifrido G.) had an original return date of October 13th. Now, they need to change the return flight to October 6th on BR [redacted] / BR 52 to Houston, Texas. As my father-in-law is elderly, he prefers not to travel alone at this time. He will be accompanied by my wife, Milagros Ong Hoffman, who is already scheduled to return on the 6th.

Upon returning to Brisbane from Malpensa and Taipei with EVA Air, I discovered my new bag was ripped on the carousel. Menzies Aviation Baggage Service desk quickly determined it was damaged by their baggage machines and needs replacement. However, EVA Brisbane denied responsibility via email, suggesting I damaged it or it was overpacked or used. They offered a mere $35 as goodwill. Seeking further assistance, I requested escalation to senior EVA staff in Australia with no response. Even contacting the Sydney office redirected me back to Brisbane. My attempts for resolution through email have been consistently ignored. In frustration, I've written a detailed account to EVA HQ in Taipei but lack the appropriate email address for Customer Service.

I purchased a ticket through Vayama and requested a refund on July 20th. Vayama informed me that their part of the process is complete, and now it's in the hands of the airline, EVA AIR, to refund the credit card used for payment. It has been 12 weeks since this process began, and I have yet to receive my refund. I am following up to check on the status of this refund request. The PNR for this ticket is 2D9RRR.

I am attempting to add two middle names to my flight reservation with EVA Airways from YVR to BKK. I have attempted to contact them through Expedia, my booking agent, without any luck. Expedia has reached out via email and various phone numbers with no success, and I am facing the same issue. I am wondering if it is possible to add the middle names at the airport gate? My ticket details on Expedia (Receipt Confirmation & Itinerary) show my name correctly for Booking #: 45QYTX as Richard Andrew Parkany, matching my passport.
However, upon checking in online with EVA, I found that my name was listed as Parkany, Richardandrew, combining my Given and Middle Names together.
I hope this won't cause any issues when I reach Chiang Mai airport for boarding.

I am writing to inquire whether I need to update my passport information for an upcoming trip. I live in Hungary and will be flying from Vienna to Bangkok. I recently obtained a new passport and contacted your customer service in Hungary to update my information. They informed me that since my passport details are not on my reservation, it is unnecessary to update them. However, this contradicts my experience when booking the ticket and entering my passport information.
