I am disappointed with the store on Colvin and Sheridan in Buffalo, New York, [redacted]. Ever since they replaced Kelly, the Manager, things have been getting worse. Recently, the store has been having issues like opening late and today when I arrived at 9 am, there was no one there despite the lights being on. After waiting for 15 minutes, I left, returned later, and still found no employees. Eventually, the police were called due to multiple complaints, and an employee arrived around 10:20 am, blaming a scheduling mix-up for the confusion. The store's condition has worsened with a filthy customer bathroom lacking toilet paper, overflowing outside garbage cans, and hazardously placed yellow plastic signs. I hope they resolve these problems before facing more serious consequences. Thank you, Karen.

During my recent visit to your store in Newark, California ([redacted]), I encountered a disappointing customer service experience. The cashier at the front was impolite when I asked for assistance, and then later as I tried to use the new baskets with security poles in the store, there was confusion. Despite my interaction with another customer to understand the new system, the cashier was unhelpful and dismissive. Additionally, when I asked for her name to provide feedback, she was uncooperative and disrespectful. The lack of customer service skills and unfriendly behavior observed throughout this visit culminated in a poor shopping experience. Other customers in line echoed similar sentiments, suggesting that changes need to be made to ensure better service. It is essential for store management to be aware of such incidents to prevent losing customers.

I recently visited your store and spoke to a person I believed was a manager about exchanging unused knee pads without a receipt. Initially, the person agreed, stating it was a one-time exception. However, when I returned to the store later, another individual, whom I suspect was the manager, denied the return citing the need for a receipt. When I mentioned a possible manager named Maria, she denied the existence of such a person. Despite my request for an exception, I was met with a lack of empathy and adherence to the policy. Furthermore, during a conversation with a cashier regarding the store's return policy, the same manager interjected, loudly emphasizing the requirement for a receipt. This interaction left me feeling as though I was attempting to deceive the staff over a small refund. As a regular shopper, I urge you to provide training for this manager in customer service and respectful treatment of patrons. I have never encountered such disrespectful behavior in all my years of retail experience. Kindly consider coaching this manager on enhancing her interpersonal skills. On a positive note, I must say that the manager at the Dollar Tree store in Hidden Valley, Norco, is a delight. 👍

I received two gift cards from my sister. She lives in Pennsylvania, and I live in New York City. I visited the local store in the Bronx, NY, at [redacted] East Gun Hill Rd, Bronx, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the cards did not work when I attempted to use them. The register clearly displayed $25.00 on each card, but they were not accepted as payment. Even after entering the numbers manually, the register still did not recognize them. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was met with rudeness from both the manager and cashier, who questioned why I was causing a delay over $40. These gift cards were purchased from your store, and I believe they should be valid in any state. I verified the card balances before use. I request a resolution for this issue and hope that measures will be taken regarding the behavior of your staff.

I had a negative experience at the store on Long Beach Blvd. and Pacific Coast Hwy. in Long Beach, CA, with a manager named Andrea. She displayed rudeness, especially towards black customers. Last night at around 6:55 p.m., I approached the counter with my items, but Andrea turned off her light and told me to go to another cashier in a disrespectful manner. She was speaking loudly in English and Spanish. Another employee eventually helped me. Andrea seems to try to distance herself from being black by speaking Spanish and selectively being nice to certain races. This behavior needs to be addressed, or legal action may be necessary.

I wanted to share a positive experience I had with an employee at store [redacted] in Augusta, GA on 11/12/[redacted]. I have MS and required a cart to shop. When I informed the employee about my situation, she promptly went to the parking lot and fetched a cart for me. Later, when I inquired about adult Christmas stockings, she initially said they were not available. Surprisingly, she located an unopened box of adult stockings, allowed me to pick one, and mentioned she was in training for store management. Her name is Sam Moseley. I believe her exceptional service should be recognized, and I hope this message reaches her manager or higher-ups. Please convey my gratitude to Sam for her outstanding assistance. Thank you, Sharon Avinger.

I visited the Waxahachie store last Saturday around 1 p.m. Recently received my online order of picture frames, but they arrived broken. I tried to address this issue with the cashier, who directed me to the manager currently counting money. Both my wife and I waited for the manager's attention, but no action was taken. After approximately 15 minutes, I knocked on the office door and was shouted at aggressively, "WHAT DO YOU WANT." I calmly explained my 15-minute wait for the manager's assistance, but was met with rude and unprofessional behavior. I expressed my intent to call and email regarding the incident but was rudely dismissed by the manager. Customer service should be prioritized, as someone with 23 years of retail experience, I found this encounter highly unprofessional. I aim to return the picture frames. The order number is BC[redacted]2-[redacted].

I am a new hire at Dollar Tree in Victorville, California but I have yet to receive my work schedule. I am seeking a transfer to Apple Valley as I have been contacted to work there. Unfortunately, the Victorville manager, Mrs. Dainty, is not assisting me with the transfer process as she claims she doesn't know how to do it. Despite my attempts to reach her by phone, I have been put on hold for long periods without a response. When I try to speak with her in person, I am told she is not available. On the other hand, Rosi, the Apple Valley manager, says she cannot intervene and asks me to wait for the transfer, as I am already in HR and cannot be hired anew without it. I have completed the iLearn training. My employee number is [redacted]1. I am hopeful you can help me facilitate the transfer. Thank you. Yvonne S.

While shopping confidently at my local store, I inadvertently left my wallet, containing all my money and personal cards, in the cart. Despite usually remembering to retrieve it at checkout, this time I failed to do so, leading to a feeling of panic when I couldn't find it. Despite searching with my cousins and asking the cashier for help, we couldn't locate it. I was disappointed by the lack of assistance from store employees, including an unsettling encounter regarding the store's security cameras. Feeling distraught over losing important funds for Christmas and homeschooling, I couldn't help but suspect foul play by a staff member. The incident has left me feeling uneasy about the store's security measures. My lawyer believes there may be grounds for legal action due to the situation.

I shopped at the Dollar Tree store last Friday night. As I headed to the checkout around a quarter to 10, an announcement came over the intercom instructing everyone to bring their items. The cashier then hurried me, even though it was only 5 minutes to 10, making me feel rushed. Despite being the only customer in the store, I was pressured to pay quickly. This was disappointing as I visit the store often. I believe they wanted to close early and not help customers. It was unsettling to feel rushed when there was still time to shop. I hope Dollar Tree can address this issue. I have experienced problems before but now wish to escalate it to the corporate office. My name is M. Denard, and you can reach me at [redacted]. I would appreciate hearing about the steps you will take to resolve this. Thank you.

I received a gift card for my birthday but have been unable to use it. I have tried to use it at the Dollar Tree store multiple times, but it has not gone through despite having funds on it. It has been embarrassing facing issues with the card while customers watch, feeling frustrated and upset. This was for my 80th birthday. I am considering reaching out to news channels like Channel 32, 7, or 9 to have them try to use it and bring attention to the situation.

I was accused of stealing at the dollar store in Roanoke, Alabama. The store manager, Diane, accused me of stealing in December [redacted] without showing me any video evidence. However, on the day in question, I arrived at the store and briefly conversed with a young man outside before talking to my friends, Roger and Faye Head, inside. Later, as I was meeting my son on Main Street, Diane accused me of stealing her cigarettes from outside, which I deny. I believe I have the right to shop at the store and should be allowed to see the video footage. If this matter is not resolved, I will seek legal help. Diane's actions are causing issues for many people, and I hope to find a solution to this misunderstanding.
Thank you,
Patricia K.

I visited Dollar Tree store #[redacted] in Oceanside located at the corner of Canyon Drive and Mission Ave. Upon reaching the check stand with 2 items, I was informed that a new line, #3, was open. Just as I was about to pay, a lady from line #2 accused me of cutting her off. Despite explaining my situation, the manager, Myrtha, instructed me to go to the end of the line. When I went to retrieve my backpack, a cashier named Dana was rude to me. I felt unfairly treated and was asked to leave the store, ultimately getting banned. I would appreciate a discussion over the phone to address this issue. While I don't want anyone to lose their job, I believe the manager and the cashier should be relocated. Please contact me at [redacted]. - JJ

I was informed I would receive an email once my order was sent to the local store, as stated in an email confirmation. However, the order was shipped on December 13th and despite numerous attempts, I couldn't reach anyone at the Dollar Tree store over the phone. After waiting three days, I visited the store with my spouse and inquired about the lack of communication. The employee defensively mentioned the holiday season as the reason for the delay. The store was quiet with scarce products on the shelves and appeared disorganized. After providing my last name, my order was eventually found. While inside, I noticed a surplus of unopened boxes in the stockroom, raising concerns about other customers awaiting their notifications. Frustrated by the experience, I tried reaching out to corporate without success. The service at Dollar Tree has left much to be desired.

I recently had a brief stint at Dollar Tree for about a week. During that time, I wasn't feeling my best emotionally, and I fear it may have affected my relationship with my co-workers. I noticed that the pay period has ended, and the payment through "DailyPay" has not been deposited into my account. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I could really use that money. If someone could kindly respond to my email, I would be very grateful. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

I need assistance contacting the Dollar Tree Human Resources department regarding an incident at store [redacted] Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain, Georgia. I prefer to address this with HR as the store manager, Mr. Jeff, has not been responsive to my concerns. Both store managers were disrespectful towards me, and I felt mistreated. The managers need to improve their communication and tone. Despite my explanation about needing to pick up my children's school devices due to virtual learning, they insisted I come to work. I have informed them I will need to leave early for a doctor's appointment. My name is Lakeshia Trawick, and I work at this Dollar Tree location. The store manager's name is Linda, and I request HR intervention to prevent a repeat of this situation. Please provide me with the Dollar Tree Human Resources contact number. Thank you.

I am unhappy about the recent price increase at Dollar Tree, my go-to store for a variety of items. I hoped for one to open in the San Marco Delray Beach shopping center, conveniently located next to Publix. However, instead of a Dollar Tree, a liquor store opened. The nearest $1 store often lacked the items I found in other locations and some stores were disorganized. Despite some products being expired or of low quality, I enjoyed my purchases and typically spent over $50 on various items, feeling like a kid in a candy store. Due to rising prices, including food and gas, people on fixed incomes valued Dollar Tree for affordable items like crossword books, craft supplies, and household goods, allowing us to enjoy our time. I am disappointed in the price hike and will now purchase fewer items. Thank you for understanding.

I have inquiries about setting up direct deposit. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my paychek card because of fraudulent activity. I am concerned because I missed the direct deposit deadline for this Friday's pay date on January 28th. I am unsure if I will have to wait until the next pay period, which is in 2 weeks as we are paid bi-weekly. I have ordered a replacement card through the card issuer, not Dollar Tree, the company I work for. I need my pay to settle a fine by the 28th, but currently, I am uncertain where Dollar Tree will deposit my salary as I have not provided bank information or a new card yet. Your assistance is much appreciated.

Today during my shopping trip, a new employee named Mitzi at the store approached me and asked to inspect my purse. Before I could comply, she abruptly asked me to leave. This incident left me feeling embarrassed, humiliated, and disrespected. As a regular customer who visits the store two to three times weekly, I did not appreciate this treatment. I want to be clear that I am a hardworking individual who values shopping with my own money. I do not deserve to be treated as a potential thief. It is important for the store to address this issue with Mitzi and ensure that customers are treated respectfully.
Thank you,
Michelle S.

Yesterday, I was asked about the manager Destiny at store [redacted]. I informed the manager, Kaylyn, that Destiny is dating and living with Jonathan and desires him to be a manager at the store. Destiny later called me, and an associate named Tina, complaining. Today, Destiny confronted me when dropping off Tina at work, yelling and cursing, causing a scene in the parking lot. Another two individuals witnessed the situation. I strive to answer truthfully when asked questions. It seems that the conflict arose because Elizabeth, a new coworker whom I provide rides to, was advised by Destiny not to disclose her relationship with Jonathan to Kaylyn. This chaotic incident unfolded in front of waiting customers in the parking lot.
