I recently made a purchase at the Dollar Tree store in Mt. View, Wayne, NJ using Apple Pay. To my surprise, when I returned from the restroom, my bagged items were gone. The cashier seemed unaware of the situation, and when I raised the issue with a supervisor, the response was less than helpful, stating that it was not their fault. I am very disappointed with the lack of care and assistance from your employees in this matter. While the dollar amount is small, it is the principle that matters most. I have proof of purchase through my card account and would like to know how Dollar Tree plans to address this issue. Thank you. - S.S.

I need assistance with a situation at store #[redacted] in Huntsville, AL. I reached out to Mrs. Polly, my District Manager, regarding some concerns, only to find out later that the contact information given to me by the Store Manager, Elizabeth Bitter, was incorrect. Although Polly initially agreed to meet with me to discuss the issue, she later informed me via text that I was no longer employed at Dollar Tree. When I mentioned contacting Corporate to address the matter before returning to work, Elizabeth Bitter responded with "O K." Now, I have been informed that I am under investigation for the very same issues I was raising. This is the second time such an investigation has happened, the first time it was dismissed as a computer glitch.

I want to file a complaint about an extremely rude manager who embarrassed a fellow employee in front of customers by yelling, creating a terrible atmosphere in the store. Many customers, including myself, do not want to visit the store when she is working due to her attitude. The cashier was helping another colleague manage a long line diligently and has always been kind and helpful. I believe this manager is misusing her power. I was appalled by her behavior, which not only affected the employee but also made everyone uncomfortable. The employee even asked her to calm down as she felt embarrassed with all the customers watching. The incident occurred at store [redacted] on 3/6/[redacted]. Such behavior should not be tolerated, especially from a manager, as it drives customers away. It's disheartening that the company claims to respect its employees yet tolerates such actions.

I made an online order in November for store pickup but have been experiencing issues with the delivery status notifications and tracking system provided by Dollar Tree. Despite receiving emails regarding back-ordered items, the store had actually received my order in November. After a frustrating phone call with a rude customer service agent who abruptly hung up, I discovered that the store had already sold my items.
I am left wondering why I received conflicting emails about my order's status and why the online tracking system continued to show no delivery. The lack of communication from Dollar Tree regarding my order's availability is disappointing. At this point, I am unsure if I will receive a refund for the sold items.

I wish to address a concern regarding two Dollar Trees in my area that I frequently visit. The first one is located at [redacted] Decker Blvd, Columbia, SC [redacted], and the second one is at [redacted] Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC [redacted]. Every time I go shopping at these stores, I struggle to find available shopping carts. Due to my multiple sclerosis (MS) and reliance on a cane, having a cart is essential for me. Unfortunately, on several occasions, I had to abandon my shopping because no carts were available. Furthermore, the restroom at the Decker Blvd location is consistently dirty, with overflowing toilets and a door that cannot be securely closed or locked. I am hopeful that these issues can be promptly addressed. Thank you. - Sharon A. from Lexington, SC.

I recently shopped for my birthday/bridal shower items on March 18th. I bought wrapping paper, gift bags, gift boxes, champagne glasses, candles, and mason jars totaling $[redacted]. When I asked the cashier about returning items due to guest count changes, she assured me it was possible with the receipt. However, upon unpacking at home, I discovered broken candles, mason jars, and ring dishes due to poor packaging. Today, I visited the store to return the damaged goods but was informed that only exchanges are allowed, not refunds. Also, I mistakenly paid for more gift boxes than intended as they were stacked differently than I thought, and each was individually priced. This led to an unexpected total amount spent. I am unsure how to proceed with exchanging the broken items given the store's policy.

I'm seeking urgent assistance regarding a situation at work concerning an associate named Quincy. Despite informing my store manager, Wes, and another manager, Jade, about Quincy's inappropriate behavior of touching me, no effective action has been taken. During my recent visit to the store as a customer, Quincy repeated this behavior. His recurring actions make me feel uncomfortable, especially when he seeks me out across the store and deliberately approaches me inappropriately. Additionally, my interaction with manager Jade has been distressing as she publicly reprimanded me for attending to a customer's request instead of focusing on store recovery tasks. Her discourteous response to my need to step away for an important call from a doctor exacerbated the situation. Consequently, I have decided not to continue working shifts due to the lack of resolution for the harassment and the unprofessional treatment I have endured. I am concerned about any potential negative repercussions on my record should I seek employment elsewhere.

As a dedicated Hot Wheels collector, during a recent visit to the Dollar Tree in Lumberton, Texas, I noticed two cases of Hot Wheels by the back door. When I asked the manager (Pam) if she could open them for me, she refused. Despite offering to help hang them on the pegs, my request was still denied. Even when I asked to simply peek inside the boxes, Pam refused. This store is the only location that carries Hot Wheels, making this experience quite frustrating. It wasn't my intention to create a mess, but rather to make a purchase. I am disappointed by the lack of customer service at this store and the missed opportunity to make a sale. I will no longer be spending my money at this location and will advise others in the area to do the same. I hope that this feedback leads to improved customer service in the future. Thank you and have a great day!

Today at 12:56 pm, while working my assigned task at Dollar Tree, a manager threatened me. Co-workers informed me that the manager was unhappy with my pace and wanted me fired. When I approached him, he rudely told me to leave and threatened to lose his temper. I enjoy my job and fulfill my duties without complaints. It's disappointing to be mistreated in a workplace I love. The manager's behavior of throwing objects and displaying anger concerns me. I seek assistance in this matter. Thank you.

Hello, I am La Quita Cole from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. On Sunday evening, 04/24/[redacted], I visited Dollar Tree on Powerline and Atlantic. Upon entering, the cashier instructed me to leave my bags at the front. I complied and left my purse, son's baby bag, and a bag of food from Wawa store. As I shopped, I reached into my purse for my phone and was surprised when the cashier, Mae, called for a security scan. Although I shopped there for three days, I had never experienced this before, and not everyone was asked to leave their bags at the door. The manager, Ms. Bev, responded to the security check, and I questioned why I was being targeted. I asked to file a complaint but was brushed off. I felt accused of stealing, especially when Mae, the cashier, was uncooperative. I found the experience disrespectful and unfair. I am sharing this to raise awareness and prevent such incidents from happening to other customers in the future. Sincerely, La Quita Cole, an unsatisfied customer.

Hello, I am Tara B., a cashier at the [redacted] N. Broadway location. Previously, I emailed about issues with the cash register till balance which have improved since working with Assistant Manager Mellissa during the afternoon shift. However, Assistant Manager Angie's demeanor has become more aggressive after my previous message, causing me concern.
I face challenges due to various conditions such as Autism, Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Dyspraxia, and PTSD, impacting my work. I feel my needs have not been accommodated well, especially with Angie's recent behavior. Today, while battling anxiety and what seems to be a cold, I requested to leave early. Angie's response was insensitive, questioning my commitment, leading to a regretful exchange.
I acknowledge my lapse in etiquette when I called her "An asshole," and I apologize for my outburst.

I, Vernecia, wanted to report an incident at the Dollar Tree in Mullins, SC [redacted] on 4/16/[redacted]. Despite leaving voice messages, I have not received a response. My mother and I had a distressing experience due to the Assistant Manager Maurice's rudeness. We were directed to register 1, but the cashier moved without explanation. The manager appeared intoxicated and made inappropriate remarks. The situation escalated, causing distress to my mother, who had health issues. The manager's unprofessional behavior and disclosure of personal information in public is unacceptable. I urge for proper action to be taken to address this unpleasant visit. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, my family will consider escalating this matter further. My contact number is [redacted].

Store Number [redacted]: Seeking new management at this store. A dedicated manager is needed to improve the store's appearance. The staff also requires better training in manners. One employee, A.C., used inappropriate language and threats towards another staff member leading to a resignation. The store's current manager appears disengaged. Corporate intervention is necessary to address these issues. Resolving these concerns will help this store thrive in a small town with proper management.

I would like to file a complaint against the manager at the dollar store on 72nd Ave in Yakima, WA. She is not only rude to customers but also treats workers terribly by calling them stupid. She constantly belittles them and boasts about being the best. One weekend while I was in the store, she mentioned leaving if she didn't get the raise she believed she deserved, claiming she's irreplaceable. I disagree; she lacks respect and could benefit from a lesson in treating others well. After witnessing her behavior today, I have decided not to return to that location. I believe in teamwork and uplifting words. It's no surprise there are always new faces at the store. Thank you for your time, Tammy Henderson.

On May 26,[redacted], around 9 p.m. to 9:40 p.m., I was shopping at the Dollar Tree location in Lake Alfred, Florida. I noticed a younger cashier who seemed to be the only staff member on the floor at the time. While there, along with about four other shoppers, I observed him loudly putting items away while having an aggressive phone conversation. After I finished shopping, he came to cash me out, and I noticed his pants were sagging significantly. I believe it is unprofessional for customers to see associates dressed in this manner and engaging in such conversations while in the store. It would be beneficial to have a dress code policy in place and enforced, along with guidelines for phone use during customer interactions. Kindly follow up with this store regarding these issues.

I have attempted to address the issue at the local store in Aynor, SC, Store #[redacted]. We have been loyal customers purchasing Dark Chocolate Raisinettes, 99[redacted]8, from this store for years. However, on two recent occasions, the product was spoiled and not fit for consumption, resulting in a total loss of $7.50.
Despite explaining the situation to the manager, I was informed that it is the corporate policy not to issue replacements or refunds for food items. It is my firm belief that selling spoiled food is unacceptable. Many senior citizens, including myself, are affected by this.
I kindly request information on how you plan to address this issue and compensate for the monetary loss in a reasonable timeframe. If left unresolved, I will escalate this matter to the FDA, consumer affairs, BBB, DA, and the media.
Sincerely, Fred

As the operations manager at the [redacted] South Parkway in Huntsville, Alabama, I am deeply concerned about the behavior of a cashier, Gilbert, who has been consistently rude and disrespectful to customers despite numerous complaints. I have addressed this issue with him privately, reminding him multiple times to follow the dress code protocol, which he continues to disregard. Moreover, his claim of being a manager to new hires, obtaining change from the bank (a task reserved for managers with keys), and showing disrespect towards colleagues is unacceptable. The store manager and district manager, Polly Tompkins, are aware of the situation but have failed to take appropriate action. Polly even adjusted work schedules to accommodate Gilbert, leaving other managers like myself at a disadvantage. Additionally, serious health hazards like malfunctioning freezers and rodent infestation in the stockroom have been neglected by the management. It is crucial that immediate action is taken, including the dismissal of the cashier for his behavior.

I waited in line at store #[redacted] in Oklahoma City, OK this evening. The line was moving slowly, and it seemed like the cashier, Dominique, might be inexperienced or slow. Having worked at Family Dollar for 11 years as an ASM, I have developed an eye for these things. I observed him making mistakes with the amount of money customers gave him for three people before it was my turn. During my transaction, I paid $4.07 with a $5 bill. He entered $20.00 into the register and gave me back $0.51 in change (5 dimes and a penny). I noticed the error when I got home. I believe he would benefit from more training on the register to avoid costing the company money. Thank you for listening. Patricia Schrader.

I worked at Dollar Tree in Miami, Florida near Homestead Hospital, starting in December [redacted]. I previously worked at another Dollar Tree from 2[redacted]. My concern involves the head store manager, Gustavo, who is verbally abusive to employees, including myself and my husband. He would shout and use inappropriate language, creating a hostile work environment. During my time there, two female managers were caught stealing money, turning off cameras during their shifts. There were also instances of excessive drinking and inappropriate behavior by employees on duty. Despite being a good employee with no behavioral issues, I was unjustly put on the not rehireable list due to Gustavo's actions. I am disabled and desperately want my job back. I hope the company takes this matter seriously and addresses the misconduct of the manager. My name is Anna V., and I want to clear my name and work in a respectful environment at Dollar Tree.
