Hello, I am a store manager at Store [redacted] in Birmingham, AL. My name is Kennan R. and my district manager is Courtney M. We recently had a disagreement regarding staffing while my only Assistant Store Manager was on a 10-day vacation. Despite the challenging situation, Courtney did not offer any assistance or relief, and instead reprimanded me for being late. Feeling pressured to work doubles for an extended period without a day off, I eventually had to leave after my body couldn't handle the strain. I am now looking to escalate this issue to Courtney's superior but do not have the contact information. You can reach me at [redacted] or my Employee ID is [redacted]. I simply want to share my side of the story as I felt I was not given any alternative options before being forced to leave.

On July 19, [redacted], at approximately 9:10 a.m., during my visit to store #[redacted] located at [redacted] Gray Hwy in Macon, GA, I encountered a concerning situation involving a white female cashier. Unfortunately, I did not manage to get her name. I sincerely hope that the store management can review the security footage to identify her. The incident unfolded when the store opened late, causing a delay of at least 10 minutes, with the cashier displaying dismissive and rude behavior upon her arrival. The customer ahead of me in line addressed the delay due to the cashier's tardiness, to which the cashier responded unprofessionally. This led to a disagreement over a cashback transaction and escalated into a volatile confrontation. The cashier's unprofessionalism and aggression, both inside and outside the store, deeply troubled me, especially as it affected my children. The involvement of the manager in the altercation further exacerbated the situation, leaving the register unattended and disrupting the store's operation. Such behavior is entirely unacceptable, and I believe that appropriate action, such as the termination of the cashier involved, should be taken to maintain a safe and respectful shopping environment. Please address this issue promptly.

I am having trouble adjusting my federal tax withholding online, as the system is not allowing me to make changes. Additionally, our store hours have been drastically reduced since the previous assistant manager left for a new store. We used to work an average of 20 hours a week, but now we are only getting 5 hours, which includes unloading the trucks but no time for stocking. The situation has become unbearable as we can't afford the commute, and it's impacting our ability to properly prepare for upcoming inventory. It's concerning how stockers are not being given enough hours to fulfill their duties. We even had to work without AC for three weeks due to customer complaints about melted chocolate. This lack of support is frustrating, especially for long-term employees like me who are invested in staying with the company for credit and job stability reasons. We need someone to address these issues and care for the well-being of the employees and the business as a whole.

I had a negative experience at Dollar Tree located at [redacted] East Stacy Road in Allen, Texas, on August 9th at around 7 pm. The manager, named Olga, was incredibly rude to me as a customer. She refused to provide her name initially and was dismissive throughout. I believe she needs additional training on customer service. I was with my children, so I chose not to escalate the situation at the time. I attempted to contact customer service but was unsuccessful. My name is Samira Frotan, and you can reach me at [redacted] if needed.

I had an unsettling experience at the Crystal Lake IL store this afternoon. The line I was in was moving slowly due to an exchange, but the cashier handled it well. When it was my turn to pay, the manager, I assume, abruptly told the cashier to take a break after serving me. The cashier asked if she could go now and the manager replied rudely with a no. She then proceeded to roll her eyes at another employee behind the cashier's back. I found this behavior disrespectful and unprofessional. Witnessing this made me feel like ageism was happening right in front of the customers. I was truly disappointed in the lack of respect and dignity displayed by the staff today. It's unacceptable for a manager to behave in such a manner, regardless of the workplace.

While at the store located at Tri-City Plaza on East Bay Road, I had a concerning encounter with the manager involving my niece, Kai. The manager raised their voice outside the store in front of customers after I explained I couldn't rush from South Side St. Pete to ensure my niece arrived on time. Despite Kai only being 2 minutes late for her shift at 1:30, the manager threatened to fire her. I am considering legal action if my niece is terminated for this incident. As a former employee of Dollar Tree stores, I find this behavior unprofessional and unacceptable. Both my niece and I were treated poorly, and I am seeking to escalate this matter with someone higher up in the organization. It is essential to address this issue, especially when it involves unnecessary threats towards my niece, who is currently in a precarious situation, being homeless and still dedicated to working for the company. The manager's unprofessional conduct towards us needs to be addressed promptly.

While at the store in Tri-City Plaza on East Bay Road, the manager at Dollar Tree harassed my niece Kai in front of customers for arriving two minutes late to work. I am concerned about the unprofessional behavior displayed by the manager and the threat of firing my niece. As a former employee of Dollar Tree, I know this is not in line with company values. My niece, who is currently experiencing homelessness, deserves fair treatment. I need to escalate this issue to someone higher in authority than the manager at that location. The store is situated near 5below at the Tri-City Plaza off East Bay Road.

I visited the store on Wednesday, September 7, [redacted], between 2:50 and 3:10. While waiting in line at the register, the customer ahead needed balloons. The cashier got the balloons, checked out the customer, and called for someone to blow them up. Then a manager opened another register, taking customers who lined up after me, despite me being next in line. When I pointed this out, I was ignored. Another customer reacted rudely when I suggested moving ahead. The manager did not address the situation properly and defended his actions. I believe Dollar Tree would not approve of this behavior from their managers. I hope to receive a response about this matter soon. Thank you. - M.W.

I have been in communication numerous times regarding my undelivered order. Despite multiple escalations and months of waiting, I have not received my full order. The only box that arrived was delivered to the Oak Hill branch in Austin, Tx. I have patiently waited for a refund or store credit but have not received either. My frustration has led me to consider filing a complaint with BBB. My contact number has changed from [redacted] to [redacted]. After various assurances and promises from your team, I am disappointed with the lack of follow-through in resolving this issue. The store manager at Oak Hill can confirm this situation. My experience has been filled with excuses and delays, leaving my hard-earned money in limbo. I urge you to address this matter promptly and provide a full refund as requested.

I encountered an issue while paying for my groceries. When I tried to make payment, the transaction appeared to be declined, but the money had already been deducted from my account. The cashier insisted they had not received the payment and declined my attempts to process it again. Despite my assurance that the money had been deducted, she was quite disrespectful, implying I should have managed my funds better. The situation escalated, and the manager was involved, creating a scene in the store.

I am a 16-year-old girl who entered Dollar Tree on October 18th, [redacted], at 8:09 am. Today, I visited with a friend to purchase snacks. While in the store, I picked up ice cream and handed it to my friend, who then placed it back on a shelf in an aisle. Later, a male employee confronted us, accusing me of stealing despite me only having my earbuds in my bag. He yelled at me, claiming he saw us on camera, causing me distress as I have never been accused before. Although I did not get his name, I can describe him as a tall white male with a beard and hazel eyes. His behavior made me scared and upset, and I believe he should face consequences for his actions towards a teenager.

I recently purchased items that I wanted to return unused, with the original receipt, and in the store packaging. However, when I tried to return them, the associate at the store would only allow exchanges, not refunds. Despite being fine with it, I ended up having difficulty exchanging certain items that were either discounted or damaged, even though they were unused with tags and the receipt. The associate claimed everything was final sale, even though this was not indicated anywhere. I adjusted my exchange items but was made to pay extra due to exceeding the quantity allowed. I faced insults from other customers and felt mistreated throughout the process. The associate's personal complaints about pay added to the negative experience. I feel frustrated and ripped off, and despite trying to resolve the situation, I was met with hostility. Sadly, I am left with items I don't need and seeking advice on how to proceed, as I do not wish to return to that store.

On October 29, [redacted], I made a purchase of $25.56 at store #[redacted]. I believed the associate had placed the receipt in my bag, but on October 30, [redacted], while checking my Wells Fargo account for bills, I noticed a pending $45.56 transaction from Dollar Tree. I contacted the store manager, Amanda, and returned to the store on October 31 with the purchased items. Amanda printed a Customer Transaction sheet which showed a $20 cash back fee that I did not request or receive. The store associate did not return the $20 cash to the store. Amanda indicated that the issue would need to be handled by the Dollar Tree Corporate Office as she could not resolve it. To settle the matter, I am open to receiving a $20 Dollar Tree gift card. My contact information is Juanita Robles at [redacted] or [redacted] Thank you for your help in resolving this matter.

Hello, my name is Barbara. Last Sunday, I visited the dollar store in Southside around 2:30 or 3 o’clock. I had a conversation with a lady who was stocking the shelves. I mentioned that she didn't look like an employee, and she explained that she was helping out but couldn't clock in or out as she actually works there. She mentioned her daughter, Jen, also works there, and I shared my name, Nancy, with her. We discussed having family members working together, and she told me Ashley was the manager and that her family works there too. I found it interesting but also wondered about the legality of off-the-clock work. I appreciated the conversation and thought it was worth mentioning to others about what I observed at the Southside dollar store.

I went to Dollar Tree to purchase a drink and chose a Mountain Dew, only to discover there was alcohol in it when I got home and poured it into a glass for my nephew. I returned to the store to inform the lady working there, but she denied carrying that type of Mountain Dew and refused to check the security cameras. She claimed nothing could be done. I find the situation concerning as anyone could have mistakenly bought it. I am deeply dissatisfied and upset with how it was handled. What steps can I take to address this issue as it has left me feeling unsatisfied and upset?

I recently had a very unsettling experience at the Dollar Tree store on Mountain in Upland. While browsing for items, the manager, Blanca, began shouting at me from a distance, eventually approaching me aggressively. Despite being a regular customer with no prior issues, she accused me of causing trouble and followed me out of the store, yelling and getting in my face. Her behavior was completely unprofessional and inappropriate. Witnessing the way she handled the situation left me shocked and disappointed. It's concerning to encounter such behavior from someone in a customer service role. Blanca's actions were uncalled for, and I believe she should be held accountable for her inappropriate conduct and possibly even terminated for her behavior before she harms someone else.

Hello,
I recently made a purchase and accidentally selected home delivery instead of in-store pickup. The first part of my order has arrived, but the shipping costs are substantial, and I would prefer to pick up the items myself. Since each item is being sent separately and incurring shipping fees, I would like to cancel the shipping option or change the delivery method to store pickup. Could you assist with either canceling the shipping or guiding me on how to switch to store pickup for my order number [redacted]6? Thank you.

Visited the store at 11:15 on the 22nd and purchased items totaling $[redacted]. Unfortunately, I unknowingly left three bags with approximately $30-$35 worth of products behind. I contacted the store on the 16th and explained the situation to a manager. After she checked, she claimed the items were not found. I suspect the products were placed aside and taken by the customers behind me. The manager instructed me to bring the receipt to retrieve the items. I complied, but she is now refusing to give me back the full value of the products. I paid for them, so I don't understand why I can't have them. It was a Dollar Tree with items priced at a dollar or slightly more. The manager was impolite and harsh, insisting I must find a way to return the next day. Unfortunately, I cannot afford additional transportation costs. It is challenging for me to get around as I rely on my daughter-in-law and son-in-law for support. I simply wish to recover the items I already paid for without any issues.

I recently purchased a few pizzas and a fish portion which is a new product at the store. The cashier did not inform me of the prices, and I was surprised when I got home and saw that they were not the expected $1.25 each but were actually $5.00, $4.00, and $3.00. I paid $44.00 in cash for items I did not realize the prices of, which left me feeling misled as a customer. Being on a fixed income, this situation was particularly upsetting. It's concerning that there were no visible prices for these new items, and this could lead to others feeling similarly misled. It's essential to have clear pricing displayed in stores to avoid these kinds of misunderstandings.

I recently visited the Dollar Tree at [redacted] Thomas Street in Memphis, Tennessee. Unfortunately, when I entered, the store was quite disorganized with items scattered everywhere. Despite only one register being open with a long line, the cashier Linda seemed unresponsive when asked to call for assistance. Another staff member opened a new checkout line but then abruptly left after helping just one customer. This unprofessional behavior, along with issues like not accepting cash and insisting on card payment only, has left me extremely frustrated. It's disappointing to see such problems persist at this store.
