During a recent visit to the Dollar Tree in Colorado Springs at [redacted] East Platte Ave, my wife and I encountered a very unpleasant situation. The individual who I believe to be the store manager, Abby, accused my wife of shoplifting and made derogatory comments towards her. When I asked for her last name, Abby refused to provide it. I was shocked by her unprofessionalism and use of racist remarks towards us, as customers belonging to a non-white ethnic group. Another employee (whose name I can't recall) mentioned that this behavior is not uncommon for Abby. I can be contacted via email at [redacted] if you need more information regarding this incident. I hope this matter is addressed promptly, as I like shopping at your store but will avoid doing so as long as Abby continues to work there. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

I am writing to report that the Dollar Tree store in Helena, Montana is very unclean. The store's floors and display shelves appear to have not been cleaned in months, creating an unsightly situation. There are signs indicating the restroom is out of order, which adds to the overall poor condition of the store. During checkout, I asked a clerk about the last cleaning, and they mentioned they had no knowledge but commented that it was a corporate issue. The store's cleanliness would likely shock any corporate representatives. I am reaching out to request assistance from administration to address this concern at the Helena store. While I enjoy shopping at Dollar Tree, I will have to do so less often if this issue persists. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best, Candace C. Helena, MT

I am puzzled why the item I'm searching for was discontinued two months before the holiday. I'm desperately looking for a patriotic yard decoration with the letters U, S, A that can be placed in the garden, including a celebratory sign. This particular item was only available at a Florida store, and I have been told they won't be restocked until next year because it was a limited-time deal. I have reached out to multiple stores within a [redacted]-mile radius and various stores in Florida to no avail. Please, if possible, could you assist me in obtaining this item for my fiancé's 50th birthday, which falls on the Fourth of July? I am willing to prepay or receive an invoice for the purchase. Your help in sending me this item would mean a great deal to me. Thank you for considering my request. - Alita

I recently visited Dollar Tree to make a purchase and requested cash back of $50. Despite the cashier informing me that the transaction didn't go through, it did reflect on my receipt. When I approached the general manager and suggested counting the register, she mentioned being over but attributed it to a previous unsuccessful transaction for cash back. I pointed out that it was indeed my $50 bill, but she placed it in the safe after initially keeping it in her pocket. I contacted my card service provider, who confirmed the deduction from Dollar Tree. I am concerned about the $52 discrepancy at store number #[redacted], located at [redacted] Crenshaw Blvd, Gardena, CA. I prefer to resolve this issue without legal involvement, but I seek assistance and fairness. Looking forward to a prompt response.

I typically enjoy shopping at the Dollar Tree in Peekskill, NY. Thank you for the pleasant experiences in the past. However, today's visit was disappointing. At around 1:00/1:15pm, there was an issue with the manager, whom I later identified as "Sharice." While waiting in line, I observed delays in the checkout process, with the manager moving customers to different registers but not providing the same assistance to me. After waiting for 10-15 minutes, another employee kindly helped me at a different register. When I raised my concerns to Sharice, she responded defensively, implying I wanted special treatment. I only wanted fair and equal service. Despite my efforts to address the situation calmly, Sharice became dismissive and unprofessional. I feel an acknowledgment and apology from the Dollar Tree corporate office is warranted, and I hope for improved customer service in the future. Thank you, Jean

During a recent visit to a Dollar Tree in Maple Grove, Minnesota, I encountered an issue with my grandson needing to use the bathroom. Despite explaining the situation to an employee, I was directed to the manager who was very rude and unhelpful when I requested access to the restroom for my grandson. Fortunately, the nearby Guitar Center graciously allowed us to use their facilities. Upon returning to the Dollar Tree, I reluctantly made my purchases despite the poor treatment we received. While I understand store policies, I believe there should be exceptions for emergencies involving young children. The manager's attitude was unacceptable, and a more polite response would have been appreciated. Despite spending money at the store, there was no acknowledgment of the situation or basic courtesy extended to us. The lack of customer service left a negative impression on me. - Joan B.

I visited Dollar Tree in Delmar, DE to load my Greendot cash card, but the associate was unsure about the process. They called over the manager Thelma, who mentioned they don't always assist with card loads. I questioned Thelma about this change since I've always done my Green Dot card load there. Thelma eventually showed the associate how to do it. I felt Thelma might have been reluctant to help due to the queue of people, myself included, who waited about 10 minutes before being served. After standing in line for 10 minutes, it was frustrating to hear the manager seemingly focused on reducing the line rather than assisting with my card load at the register.

I am an employee at Dollar Tree on **** W Tennessee St. in Tallahassee, FL, where Pamela Sheard is the General Manager. She recently made me work against my religious beliefs as a Seventh Day Adventist from *-* PM on a Friday. Pamela has a reputation for being rude and disrespectful to both staff and customers when there are misunderstandings. I requested a shift change, which she denied unprofessionally, misinterpreting my request as wanting time off when that wasn't the case. She has also been unfair by not scheduling me for a week without explanation, claiming a change in my availability. I believe she should face disciplinary action, or I will consider taking legal action.

I am a dedicated Dollar Tree customer in Central Florida, specifically familiar with the Winter Garden store at [redacted] West Colonial Drive. During my visit on 7/28/[redacted], I encountered several issues that have been worsening. Firstly, there was a severe shortage of shopping carts, with only three in the entire store and none in the parking lot. Employees mentioned ongoing cart disappearance. I suggest implementing carts with security features. Moreover, the store lacked essential merchandise, with around 30% of my usual items out of stock and aisles cluttered with unstocked boxes. Organizational improvements are needed. The store was messy and disorganized, with items misplaced throughout. The facility itself is in poor condition, with rusty shelves and old flooring that poses safety hazards. Despite the challenges, the employees were helpful and hardworking. While I appreciate their efforts, I hope to see improvements to continue shopping at my beloved Winter Garden location. Thank you for your attention to these concerns. Jill M., Winter Garden, FL.

I want to address an ongoing issue with the Tri County Dollar Tree in Belle Vernon, PA. The store seems to constantly have empty shelves and lacks proper stocking. Despite my discussions with managers from nearby locations, such as Greensburg, Irwin, Uniontown, and Mt Pleasant, all acknowledging this issue, it seems the corporate level is not informed. I am particularly disappointed with the lack of inventory on a recent Sunday visit, where many shelves were empty. It is concerning that this problem persists without any apparent action being taken.

I visited Dollar Tree in Terre Haute, IN on Sunday, August 8th, around 3 pm EST at Ft. Harrison Rd. My total was $28.15, and I requested $50 cash back, making it $79.15 with the $1.00 cash back fee. The cash back was declined, so I paid with my credit card, and $79.15 was deducted from my bank account. The assistant manager confirmed the register was balanced. After contacting my bank, I spoke with store manager Erica, who advised me to contact Dollar Tree corporate for a resolution. I am seeking a refund for the amount charged incorrectly.

I recently bought contact paper for a rental property and had two people install it less than 24 hours ago. Unfortunately, the paper fell off the walls where it was applied as accent walls, even though it looked beautiful initially. I took pictures for reference. I paid $[redacted] for the paper yesterday and was planning to buy more for other walls in my [redacted] sq ft home. I am seeking a refund for the purchases as I don't have all the receipts from the past month's purchases. The ladies I hired also need compensation for their labor. I am Naomi More from Perry Hall, MD, and my contact number is [redacted]. Due to being older, I cannot do the work myself. Looking forward to your assistance. Thank you.

I am reaching out to notify you about an issue involving one of your employees at Dollar Tree in Lemont, Illinois. Every time I visit the store, employee G. Lee harasses my family and me, even asking us to leave hours before closing without reason. Recently, after her shift, she verbally attacked me while walking home in her Dollar Tree uniform, calling me names. I have evidence including videos and her Facebook profile mentioning her workplace. Despite being aware of limited actions available, I believe it's crucial for you to know the behavior of individuals representing your company. As a minor at 16 years old, it's concerning to be harassed by a 40-year-old employee. I request an update on this situation.

[redacted] 08/23/[redacted] Store Manager Dollar Tree [redacted] Vicky Dr, Grants, NM [redacted] Dear Store Manager, I am writing to formally submit my resignation as a store associate. My last working day will be 9/1/[redacted], which coincides with my final scheduled shift within the next two weeks. The reason for my resignation stems from the significant reduction in hours I have encountered over the past few months. I suspect this reduction is linked to favoritism, as I have observed individuals hired after me receiving more hours and preferred shifts. Upon my initial application, I explicitly requested to avoid evening shifts. Regrettably, this preference was overlooked, and I was consistently assigned night shifts. When I questioned this decision, I was informed that it was due to appearing tired in the mornings - a rationale that I find unjustifiable for altering a schedule without notification. Moreover, the unequal distribution of hours has been evident through multiple instances where my hours were cut while others sustained their shifts or acquired mine. Despite enjoying assisting customers and fostering a positive work environment, I feel compelled to resign from a setting where I do not feel valued or respected. Warm Regards, Philicia R. Jackson

In recent times, Dollar Tree has excessively long lines with only one or two registers open. Customers are becoming agitated due to slow service, leading to conflicts over social distancing. Stock delays further contribute to the unpleasant shopping experience at different Dollar Tree locations. As a senior, I attempt to shop early to avoid inconvenience, but the cashier's sluggish pace prolongs the process. The unhelpful store manager worsens the situation, with a lack of staff willing to assist. Introducing a self-checkout lane for 12 items or less could alleviate these issues. My niece in Florida also faced a similar problem with a customer attempting to cut in line, resulting in a police intervention due to escalating tensions. Urgent action is needed to improve service and alleviate customer frustration at Dollar Tree stores.

I have not received my PTO for my COVID leave of absence. I have tried calling different numbers, but I keep getting the runaround. I really need to speak to someone who can help me with my situation. I have been at home for three weeks without receiving my PTO or any payment. I'm feeling frustrated as no one seems willing to assist me.

I recently purchased 16 glasses from your store on 35th and Powell in Portland, Oregon. At checkout, 12 glasses were safely placed in a box, while the other 4 were stacked in a paper bag with towels. Unfortunately, two of the glasses were broken by the time I reached my car, even though I had taken care in securing the bag. I promptly returned to the store within a few minutes to show the clerk the broken items. However, when I asked for replacements, she insisted I pay for the damaged glasses. This lack of accountability was disappointing, especially since the others were packed more securely. When I requested to speak to the manager, she claimed to be in charge and displayed rude behavior. This experience was unlike my previous 15 years of shopping at Dollar Tree, where staff have been pleasant and careful with my purchases. Sincerely, Phil Lyell

I visited the Westminster store on October 7, [redacted] around 4:30 PM. After browsing for about 30 minutes and gathering items worth approximately $30-$40, I tried to check out. The cashier called the manager due to a short-staffing issue, leading to a long and uncomfortable wait in a crowded line where social distancing was impossible. Without a mask, I had to move all my items to another register when they had to switch. When I tried to address the situation with an employee, I was ignored. Unable to endure another line wait, I left my items at the front without receiving an apology from the manager, who then spoke negatively about me as I left. Despite feeling upset, I chose not to escalate the situation due to their staffing challenges. It was disappointing to waste time and leave without making a purchase while receiving such treatment.

Subject: Unpleasant Experience at Dollar Tree Store #[redacted] on Pershing Ave On 10/12/[redacted] around 6:58pm, I visited Dollar Tree Store #[redacted] in Stockton, CA, and encountered an issue with the store manager, Josh. Despite arriving a minute before the 7pm closing time, Josh refused to allow me to quickly grab an item I intended to purchase, which resulted in a frustrating experience. I have been a loyal customer at various Dollar Tree and Family Dollar locations for over 21 years, and this incident has left me extremely dissatisfied. I am disappointed with the lack of customer service and would like to escalate this matter to the District Manager for further review. Moving forward, I may consider recommending the Ninety Nine Cent store to my family and friends due to this negative experience. I kindly request that the District Manager reach out to me to discuss my experience. Please contact me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted] Thank you, Blake Inouye

Hello, I'm Kay, a dedicated customer of your store in Long Beach, Mississippi. I was upset by the behavior of the Store Manager, Kandy. When I approached register 2, I witnessed Kandy being disrespectful to another customer, raising her voice dismissively. The customer, who happened to be Black, inquired about a balloon policy she wasn't informed about when she called ahead. Kandy's response was to speak loudly, walk away, and then engage with the customer from the office window. I spoke up and expressed that this behavior was rude and disrespectful. Kandy then mentioned that I am a regular customer, but I felt compelled to reconsider my loyalty after this incident. It's important to note that I, too, am Black. Additionally, cashier Jova leaned over the register to check my purse, although I am a genuine customer who shops at your store for my home and church needs.
