I have visited your Ridge Rd West location in the LOWES Plaza in Rochester, NY numerous times in the past. However, during my last three visits, I have noticed a significant decline in the store's cleanliness and organization. The merchandise is consistently scattered all over the aisles and the main lobby is dirty upon entry, with even the glass doors being filthy. I had hoped to address this matter by leaving a message with my phone number via your [redacted] number a few weeks ago, but unfortunately, nobody returned my husband's call. If the store continues to present such a disarray, we may have to discontinue shopping there as it is unappealing compared to other stores like Target or similar dollar stores. Thank you.

I had a troubling experience at store number [redacted] on Bayshore Road in North Cape May, NJ. A week ago, a cashier mistakenly charged me for three items I didn't purchase. When I returned with the receipt, the cashier was rude, talked about me to another customer, and refused to make it right. Another cashier helped me, but the problematic cashier, Elizabeth, continued to be hostile and made inappropriate remarks. I've been a regular customer at this store for a year and have never encountered such behavior before. I believe Elizabeth is racist and targeted me because I am Spanish. Customer service should be respectful to everyone regardless of nationality. Elizabeth's behavior was unacceptable, and she lacks the professionalism needed for her job.

I visited one of your stores in Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, where I was immediately asked if I had a mask. I explained that I am medically unable to wear one and unfortunately, the employee cursed at me. When I requested her name, she rudely refused. This incident occurred around 1:07 PM. I tried calling the customer service number and was directed to an employee complaint voicemail. Despite not being an employee, I left a voicemail expressing my distress and requesting a prompt response. I am extremely upset by the situation and find it hard to believe that this person represents your store.

While in store #[redacted] around 12:45, as I was shopping for cleaners in the back aisle, I witnessed a Dollar Trees employee, G.P., behaving unprofessionally. Despite the man he was scolding using his shirt to cover his nose and mouth, G.P. continued to shout, pulling his mask down. He even directed his frustrations towards me when I reminded him to cover up. The situation was disrespectful and unpleasant, but I stood my ground and encouraged him to put his mask back on. Your attention to this matter is appreciated. Thank you.

During my recent visit to the Richmond Indiana store on East Main, I encountered a worker whose behavior was quite concerning. The employee was rude to customers and even threatened to involve law enforcement due to the limited number of people allowed inside. When a situation arose about the store capacity, she handled it poorly, showing impatience and disrespect. Additionally, she was observed using her phone instead of focusing on work tasks. This type of behavior not only affects customer experience but also sets a negative example, especially in the presence of children. I hope that the appropriate measures are taken to address this issue to ensure a more pleasant shopping environment for all customers. Despite this experience, I'm grateful for the convenience of your new store on the west side and will be shifting my future business there.

Yesterday, March 30th, I went to the Dollar Tree at [redacted] Maple Avenue W in Vienna, VA. I purchased 2 badminton rackets, but the cashier accidentally scanned them 3 times. When I pointed this out, he acknowledged the mistake but did not correct it, charging me for the extra item. His response was abrupt and unhelpful, leaving me feeling upset. Despite it being a small amount, I found his handling of the situation to be unacceptable. I left the store without further confrontation. I have never experienced such disrespect due to a cashier's oversight before. I question why I was made to pay for an item I did not buy. I visited Dollar General or Dollar Tree last night and purchased $70 worth of items, but only received three bags, missing six items. I tried contacting the store early this morning, but no one answered until 7 PM. I inquired about my missing bags, but was told there were no bags left. I asked them to check the cameras to prove I didn't walk out with the bags, but they refused, saying they don't do that. They also mentioned that if I left the bags, I should have come back in the morning. They were dismissive and hung up on me. Now I'm missing Easter items for the kids' Easter egg hunt, feeling disappointed by the store's rude behavior. I am a loyal Dollar Tree shopper and this experience has left me shocked.

I had a disappointing experience today at store#[redacted] on West View Park Drive in Pittsburgh. I made a purchase of $94.00; however, the cashier's rude behavior marred my visit. Despite the lack of other customers, she was unfriendly from the start, rushing through my items. When I wanted to add a gift wrap, she was unhelpful and even made it difficult for me to retrieve my drink. Her dismissive attitude and lack of assistance towards my health condition due to severe heart failure left me deeply upset. The cashier's unprofessionalism continued as she discussed me with another customer and even rudely responded when I confronted her. The disrespect I encountered has led me to vow never to return to this store again. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of respect and customer service shown to me, a regular patron. I hope that this incident is addressed promptly by the management. Thank you for your attention.

My spouse and I returned from the Dollar Tree store at Mountain Hermon Scotts Valley California this morning, May 1, [redacted], at 10 a.m. Unfortunately, we experienced extremely poor and rude treatment from one of the employees. As a Nurse and a Health Care Worker, we should not have been treated in such a manner. Despite politely greeting the worker and inquiring about her well-being, she showed no courtesy. She proceeded to bag our items without asking our preference and demanded payment be placed on the counter without wanting to touch our hands. While we appreciate the need for caution during the pandemic, there are more respectful ways to interact with customers. We hope our feedback reaches this unnamed employee so she understands the impact of her behavior on people's day. Treating customers with respect is important, especially considering they support the store and its employees.

Today, I visited the Dollar Tree with my girlfriend. We initially entered without masks and shopped for about 30 minutes until the cashier requested we wear masks. I acknowledged this but expressed my frustration that it was enforced only at the end of our shopping trip. The cashier was unhelpful and displayed a poor attitude. When I requested to speak to a manager, the cashier complied by calling one. The manager informed me that there have been multiple complaints about the employee, Celeste, but no action had been taken by the store manager, supposedly due to Celeste's relationship with a higher-ranking manager, Cody. The manager suggested I contact corporate since the store was not addressing the issue. The atmosphere in the store appears to be tainted by favoritism and unprofessional conduct by certain staff members. Unfortunately, due to this experience, I have no intention of returning to this Dollar Tree location in Lockhart Texas on Colorado Street.

Good afternoon. I am writing to address a recent experience at various stores in search of Arnold Bread or Thomas Bread. Last night, around 8 to 9 PM before closing, I came across Thomas Bagel Apple Cinnamon at the cashier area. The lady mentioned that it couldn't be scanned due to the policy against selling miscellaneous bread or bagels as standalone items. I understand this policy, but I have always seen this item being sold in the store. If there have been changes in Dollar Tree's products policy, it would be helpful to inform customers earlier. I also wanted to highlight the importance of ensuring that available products are easily accessible for a better shopping experience. I kindly request that customers refrain from taking items out of another shopper's basket. Lastly, I appreciate Dollar Tree's presence in Florida and the United States. Thank you, and have a great day.

I visited the Caldwell, Idaho store located at [redacted] Cleveland Blvd a few days ago. I was in line with approximately 7 people in front of me and only one checker working. After several minutes passed, I noticed at least 10 more people lined up behind me, still with only one checker. Three employees were playing with balloons in a corner instead of helping. Some of us spoke up requesting another checker, but they told us to be patient and kind. It seems their priorities are misplaced, with balloons taking precedence over customer service and timely checkouts. This experience left me extremely frustrated, so I abandoned my items and left. I am uncertain whether I will return to that dollar store. Upon going to a different Dollar Tree location, I was promptly assisted without any issues. The management at the [redacted] Cleveland Blvd store seems to have some shortcomings that need to be addressed.

I enjoy shopping at the Dollar Tree store in Jennings, Louisiana, but I have encountered ongoing issues with the service. The store consistently has long lines, with 11 or 12 people waiting to check out. Today, when there were 11 people in line, the manager refused to assist because she was doing paperwork. I believe paperwork should be done outside of peak hours to ensure customers are attended to promptly. This seems to be a common problem at this particular store.

Yesterday, on Mother's Day, I visited Dollar Tree on North Lamar and Rundberg in Austin, TX. At around 1:30 pm, I saw two employees, one was a cashier and the other was blowing up balloons. A Spanish-speaking lady entered and asked for a balloon but left to get a mask as per store policy. The bilingual employee's behavior was unacceptable. She rudely told the customer to blow up her own balloon in Spanish. When the customer expressed her disappointment, the employee responded disrespectfully. This behavior is unacceptable and should be reviewed with the store's video footage. As a manager at a Mental Health facility, I believe this kind of treatment towards customers is unacceptable and the employee should be terminated immediately without any unemployment benefits.

Hello, I recently purchased $39 worth of birthday items and frames at your store for a cancelled birthday party. The total including tax is $41.73. I have always been able to return items at my local Dollar Tree. However, the cashier at the Dollar Tree in Bridgeport, WV informed me they are no longer accepting returns. I have unused tablecloths, birthday signs, candles, and picture frames purchased within the last week with receipts. I would like to return these items either in-store or by mail for $41.73. My usual store has never had issues with returns, and as the items are almost $42, I would appreciate being able to return them. Thank you.

Upon visiting the store at [redacted] Missouri Blvd. unit [redacted] Jefferson City, MO [redacted], I was disappointed by several things and have decided not to return. The cleanliness of the store seemed lacking, with merchandise carts obstructing access to products still in their boxes on the shelves. Most of the shelves were empty except for the front aisles. Witnessing the manager, Chandra, speak harshly to an employee in front of customers was unprofessional. It seemed to be a pattern as the assistant manager, Kiki, threatened another employee over the phone about coming in on their day off to work. This behavior reflects poorly on the company, especially considering that many workers appear to have mental challenges. I believe a change in leadership is necessary for the store to improve. If the store's operations are indeed as mismanaged as they appear, action should be taken to address these issues promptly.

I want to address a concerning issue at a specific Dollar Tree store. As an enthusiastic trading card collector, I suspect an employee might be weighing Pokemon card packs to keep the heavier ones with better cards and leaving the lighter packs with less valuable cards for customers. The store in question is located at Store #[redacted], 31-72 31st St, Astoria, NY [redacted].
I had two disappointing experiences, one on 2/11/[redacted] at 8:56 am for $71.86 and another on 4/15/[redacted] for $48.99. Despite my excitement at finding trading cards, I consistently ended up with packs containing underwhelming cards. Given the limited availability of trading cards at nearby stores, I find it unlikely that another customer could have gone through and sorted the packs between my visits.
Since this issue seems to persist at this store, I suspect an employee is behind it, resulting in continual disappointment for buyers. I am seeking unaltered trading cards, preferably from a complete and sealed box, including Pokemon cards, Panini sports cards (basketball/football), and Fortnite Series 1 cards (excluding the sticker books). I hope we can resolve this matter promptly.
Thank you,
- Alex

Dear Management,
Store #[redacted] is a place I frequent, and I feel compelled to share my recent experience. Pat, an employee at this location, is consistently not assisting customers at the registers when needed. Instead, during busy times, she has been observed handling other tasks, like moving boxes, staying in the office, or even smoking out front. This contributes to extended wait times and puts undue pressure on the other cashiers.
On my last visit, I witnessed Pat chatting with a colleague who was working the register, showing personal family photos instead of helping customers. This left only one employee to manage the long line, resulting in unacceptable delays.
Pat's behavior comes across as lazy and negatively impacts both customers and coworkers.

Store number [redacted] is experiencing a severe issue with an AC unit leaking so heavily that a panel has already fallen, resulting in significant water damage to products. Another leaking panel poses a risk of further damage to products and the floor, potentially endangering customers or employees. Despite a current work order for repairs, no assistance has arrived, leading to mold damage on the roof and a musty odor in the office. I, a concerned employee, have attempted to address the fallen panel myself, as the manager is currently on vacation and unavailable. Given the extent of the damage and the delayed response, there are also concerns about outdated fire extinguishers that may be defective due to prolonged inactivity. Should we consider closing the store for safety reasons?
