Dollar General promotes on their website that all employees wear masks for community safety. When addressing an essential worker who interacts with numerous individuals daily, he expressed his disbelief in wearing a mask, stating he has not fallen ill during the pandemic without one. I emphasized the importance of masks, especially as a community college professor following social distancing protocols. With virus cases increasing, all employees should adhere to the same safety measures as the rest of the state's residents. If someone has a valid medical reason not to wear a mask, they may need to reconsider working in retail to protect public health. Everyone should wear face coverings in public places to combat the virus effectively.

Subject: Issue with Rental Record #[redacted]73 On October 2, [redacted], I returned the rental unit at Springfield/Branson Airport. Unfortunately, I later realized that the key fob was inadvertently packed in my checked suitcase. When I contacted the Dollar Rental office the next day to request their address to mail the key back, I was informed by an agent that their manager, Donna, had decided to charge me $[redacted] for the non-return of the key. Donna justified this charge by stating that a replacement key had to be ordered within 12 hours of our flight on a Friday. However, the key was not lost but simply misplaced. Upon discovering it in my luggage as soon as I got home on October 2, [redacted], I promptly contacted the Dollar/Hertz counter on October 3, [redacted], to inform them that I had the key in my possession and had also tested negative for COVID-19 that morning. It is disheartening to be charged for an item that was found within a short timeframe, and I believe the $[redacted] fee should be refunded without delay. Thank you, Richard P.

My daughter in Missouri received a vanilla visa gift card from her uncle in Harlan, Iowa. The $[redacted].00 card was purchased at Dollar General in Harlan and mailed to her. After trying to activate it, she discovered the balance was taken by a company called Help Your Morgage in Scottsdale, Arizona. She doesn't own a house and lives with me in Missouri. The money was intended for my grandson's essential needs, and despite contacting the company, they haven't refunded the money. We are puzzled how the company got the card details when it was new. We urgently need the money back on the card to provide for my grandson.

I visited store #[redacted] at [redacted] RT 6 and [redacted] Milford, PA, around 2 p.m. today, October 24, [redacted]. I was in line behind a customer who was berated by an employee for allegedly taking too many wipes. The employee loudly accused her of being selfish and not leaving any for others, despite the customer explaining she was purchasing for multiple purposes. The customer had just a few containers of wipes, but the employee's reaction was excessive. The employee, a heavyset woman whose name I didn't catch, seemed to cause a scene. Another employee named Andrew checked me out and appeared uncomfortable with the situation. The customer who was yelled at ended up being served by the same employee. The employee then tried to justify her behavior, denying she had yelled. It was clear to all present that she had. I hope the store takes action to address this inappropriate behavior and prevent it from happening again. I can provide more details if needed.

I had a stressful experience at my local dollar general with my two young children. While at the register, some items rang up for a penny, and the employee refused to sell them to me, claiming they needed to be pulled from the shelves. She then became confrontational and asked me to leave. I believe she was in the wrong based on my research that customers must be allowed to purchase items at the price they ring up. During a recent visit to the Dollar General in Belington, WV around 6 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, I experienced disrespectful behavior from a cashier when inquiring about the restroom for my fiance, Chris. The cashier's tone and look were inappropriate. This isn't an isolated incident, as I feel racially profiled and followed in Dollar General stores. Despite reporting past issues, no action was taken. When Chris left a pharmacy bag in the store, the same cashier was unhelpful and seemed to doubt my sincerity. This treatment is unacceptable. I have tried contacting the store but to no avail. I expect to hear from the general or district manager within 48 hours for resolution. Racial profiling should not be tolerated in [redacted]. If no response is received, I will seek further action.

I made a purchase at Store # [redacted] on Marywood Drive in Henderson, KY on 11-3-[redacted] for 4 $10.00 gift cards. The transaction went smoothly, but my checking account got charged $50.34 as the cards were apparently cancelled. The cashier assured me they cancelled the transaction, yet the amount was not reversed on my account. After speaking to the manager, Jessica, I was told to wait for four days for the correction, which did not happen. I contacted the corporate office on Nov 10, [redacted], and they also asked me to wait for four days for the refund. As of Nov 16, [redacted], no correction has been made. I recently bought a My Vanilla card and encountered issues when trying to use it after activating it online. Unfortunately, my daughter misplaced the receipt and is still getting the hang of these processes. Despite reaching out to Dollar General, store [redacted] in Pangburn, Arkansas, we have not received any assistance. The card was purchased for $[redacted] in cash around November 3 or 4. We are looking to obtain an electronic receipt to facilitate the refund process. I am reaching out regarding an incident that occurred at Dollar General in Murrayville, GA, on December 4th. My husband made two purchases totaling $28.76, with $20 cash back. Due to issues with my Wells Fargo debit card, the cashier manually entered the information. Shortly after, I received an alert from Wells Fargo regarding two transactions, one for $21.34 and another for $45.47, which we did not make. I have receipts for the legitimate purchases but not for the unauthorized one. When I returned to the store, I was informed to contact customer service for a resolution. I have evidence from Wells Fargo and my bank statement to support my claim. Your urgent attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated as I frequent this Dollar General location. I am attempting to reach out to the human resources department regarding my job application. I was informed that I am not eligible for rehire, related to an incident that occurred approximately 11 years ago at the Mt. Gilead Ohio store. Since then, I have gained 8.5 years of experience at Save A Lot as a key carrier and 2 years as an Assistant Manager at the Family Dollar in Mt. Gilead. On December 18, [redacted], at 1:43:06 PM at store #[redacted], located at [redacted] E Belt Line Rd Ste A in Cedar Hill, TX, I made a payment of $58.18 via debit card. One of the items I purchased was BB BT Wireless Headphones #[redacted]76-[redacted] for $10.00. After leaving the store, I realized I did not receive the headphones but only left with ten packs of cheyen cigars and two sacks of clothing. Despite contacting the store multiple times, the phone line has been consistently busy. I acknowledge the busy holiday season and the possibility of mistakes, both on my part and the cashier's. I trust that if the cashier noticed my forgotten item, it would have been set aside for me to claim once the error was discovered. As I have been unable to reach the store for assistance, I am reaching out here to resolve this issue. On January 9, [redacted], I visited store #[redacted] and experienced poor customer service once again due to ongoing issues with their system. I won't be returning to Dollar General because of the disrespectful treatment I receive. As a manager, I believe in providing good service and don't agree with being rude to customers. Additionally, the store layout is always obstructed, possibly due to daily freight deliveries. I'm frustrated with this experience.

I am experiencing difficulties accessing Dollar General's digital coupons. When I attempt to access them, the screen freezes on a black screen with yellow surroundings displaying the Dollar General logo, menu options, and my shopping list on the left side of the screen. I have been trying to access these coupons since January without success. Even after speaking to a cashier who mentioned experiencing the same issue, I continue to struggle with this problem whether I am signed in or not. Hello, I wanted to share my positive experience with store [redacted] on Lake Street in Lake Charles, LA. This neighborhood store is a dependable place similar to Walmart or Target where I often shop for essentials. Despite hearing many complaints about customer service in other places, my interactions at this store have been nothing but pleasant. I would like to commend a young man named Calvin, who I believe is part of the management team due to his outstanding professionalism. Calvin has consistently shown patience, courtesy, and great customer service skills. As a regular customer who buys gift cards frequently, I sometimes struggle with remembering my new pin numbers. Calvin has always been helpful in guiding me through the process. Even during busy times, he manages to provide exceptional customer support. Hello, I would like to bring to your attention the large hole in the parking lot of the Dollar General store in Dothan, AL on Hartford Highway #[redacted]. While backing out of a parking space today, my right front tire fell into the hole, creating a loud noise. This incident has potentially caused damage to the frame of my car. I am experiencing issues with loading funds onto my PayPal account for the second time. Previously, I loaded $40, but I did not receive a receipt. Hello, my name is Matt Davis. I recently purchased a five-pack of Hanes facemasks from your store last week. Upon opening the package, I realized it was not what I expected. I returned to the store with the receipt to request a refund, but the manager was rude and refused, citing the box had been opened. According to Dollar General's return policy, if a customer is unhappy with a product, they can return it for a refund.
