I am frustrated with the repeated issues regarding my gas bill payment notifications. Despite providing my correct bank account details, I keep receiving notices stating the billing was returned by my bank. Can someone from DTE please contact me at [redacted] tomorrow? I am financially stable but in need of assistance due to being handicapped. I want to settle my gas bill promptly. My name is Timothy Wildt residing at [redacted] S. During the recent storm on Friday, a few broken branches from the street pole to the one near our house have affected our electrical system. On Saturday, multiple lightbulbs in our house unexpectedly went out. The security light in the driveway is making loud sounds every 10-15 minutes after dark and then goes out. I suspect a connection between these issues. I am requesting assistance to remove the branches from the wires and inspect the wires, particularly the areas where the coating seems to be worn out. There are bald spots on the line about 2-3 feet from the pole between my neighbor's and my property. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It took me several days to locate the chat option. I made a payment to DTE on 9/6/23, then discovered a bank issue on 9/7/23 that could have prevented the payment from going through. I visited a payment center on 9/8/23 to ensure the original payment amount was paid and to confirm with DTE that my current payment agreement would continue.
Please make the chat option more visible on your website, as the recorded message when calling DTE mentions that DTE can be reached via chat.

Please provide the kWh usage for this building up to date. Additionally, I am interested in conducting an energy study to analyze the incoming power to the building, particularly regarding power outages. Our plant has been experiencing intermittent power outages, sometimes related to storms or bad weather, and other times seeming random. Conducting a power study will help identify any potential issues with the incoming power before it reaches our facility.

I had a bill for $56 to pay, but due to restrictions on payment methods, I had to wait until I had cash. Now, to my surprise, the amount due shows as $90+. Although the actual shut-off amount is around $50, I am confused about the increase. I cannot afford the $97 currently, so I'd like to discuss payment options with the company. I feel singled out by DTE as I make efforts to pay on time, unlike others with much larger outstanding balances. It's discouraging to see them focus on individuals like me, particularly single moms, instead of offering assistance.
