I have made multiple posts addressing an individual who seems to object to the truths I share. Although I do not mention their name often, they have been flagging all my posts for removal, even when I provide general information. I believe it is crucial to share these truths.
Why does Craigslist allow this individual to remove my posts instead of having moderators handle the situation?
Despite not including their name, my posts are consistently flagged, preventing me from warning others about this person effectively. It is frustrating that even when I avoid mentioning their name, my posts are still targeted for removal.
It is unjust that my warnings about someone who wronged me, intending to prevent others from falling victim, are being suppressed through constant flagging by this person.
My identity should not be linked to my posts, yet they always seem to identify and flag them.
Every post and email I send is met with a flagging response.
Craigslist should improve their moderation of such situations.

I'm experiencing issues with my ads on CL. My ads keep getting flagged multiple times. I have tried changing my username, but the problem persists. Although I'm in Washington, my location appears to be in CA due to my service provider, Straight Talk. Even after adjusting my location settings, the flags continue. The item I am selling is a pocket knife, completely legal to own and buy locally. I kindly request that the flags on my ads be stopped. I have been a loyal user for a long time and never encountered this problem before. It seems like some users are flagging my posts maliciously. Please, refrain from flagging my listings for legitimate items. Thank you, Tt.

Dear Concerned Team,
I have been an active Craigslist user for over a decade without encountering any issues. I am a private seller who occasionally sells refurbished musical instruments on the Boulder Craigslist site under the email provided below. I also, on occasion, post ads to the Denver page due to my location between the two cities. Rest assured, I am not affiliated with any instrument companies, and this is not a business for me but rather a way to alleviate the financial burden resulting from my wife's recent battle with cancer. I acquire instruments through unconventional means and improve them for resale locally. Unfortunately, I have recently fallen victim to a flagging attack, most likely orchestrated by a competitor. Despite my efforts to reason with the individual responsible, my ads continue to be maliciously flagged and removed with alarming consistency. I believe my account has been unduly compromised due to this unwarranted interference. I respectfully request for my account to be reinstated and seek clarification on the posting limitations to prevent future misunderstandings. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
[Initials]

I am trying to post my ad on Eastern CT Craigslist for my [redacted] Nissan Murano, but every time someone flags it, I change my email address, and still, it gets removed. I even tried changing the city, but it keeps happening. My cell phone number is [redacted]. I created a new email address, [redacted], to avoid this issue, but unfortunately, it persists. I urgently need to sell this car as I have to fly to PR to be with my father who is battling cancer. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.

Around 2 months back, I purchased a motherboard, CPU, and RAM for $80. The seller assured me that everything was in good condition. Initially, everything seemed to be fine until I faced difficulties while installing the operating system. I suspected it was the hard drive causing issues as it wasn't being detected during installation or in the BIOS setup. Despite getting a new hard drive, the problem persisted. The seller was unhelpful when contacted. After running diagnostics at a computer store, it was revealed that the motherboard was faulty. I purchased a new motherboard, but now I am encountering CPU issues. This situation has consumed a significant amount of my time and money.

I recently encountered an issue with a childcare provider who initially quoted me a price for their services, but later changed the terms and costs once they found out more about me, including my income and previous childcare arrangements. Despite their advertised hours not being 24/7, they insisted I pay extra if my child stayed past 6 PM, justifying it by claiming to keep my child longer. This sudden change in pricing and hours only happened after they learned more about me, which I found unfair. I have evidence of our conversations through text messages and phone calls to support my claim. If you need to reach me, my contact number is [redacted] and my name is Hazel.

On multiple occasions, I have encountered misleading casting calls for actors, where I was initially praised for being the right fit and then faced continuous delays and vagueness regarding details like the project's name, script, and character. These postings typically hint at faith-based, Shakespearean, or age-specific roles for short films. While having an agent offers more security, in the entertainment industry, risks are inevitable. As frustration mounts, the individuals behind these posts eventually reveal their malicious intent of toying with actors anonymously, deriving pleasure from their victims' reactions. This behavior poses risks, particularly when discussing meeting locations like LA or shoot venues in Palm Springs or Northern California. It's crucial to highlight this issue to prevent others from falling victim. Thank you for bringing attention to this matter. Chris Hampton.

Item number [redacted] is a Scag Cheetah mower priced at $[redacted], which seems unusually low, considering its actual value of around $[redacted]. Despite the tempting offer, the seller claimed to be affiliated with eBay and promised the item's delivery from Sioux Falls, Iowa, to Eureka, CA, was included in the price. They assured me a 5-day inspection period with a return option at their expense if dissatisfied. However, upon finalizing the transaction, they requested payment via three $[redacted] eBay gift cards. They provided a customer service number for the card codes verification, insisting it was a security measure. Not willing to proceed, I am sharing my experience to have this listing removed and to warn others about this potential scam. Good luck!

I am unable to renew or repost my ad for the Jayco Whitehawk Ultralight (Ad #[redacted]). I thought there would be a "renew" or "repost" button in my account, but I only see options to display, delete, and edit. I have 5 hours left before it expires. It would be helpful if they could send an email reminder and maybe allow ad renewal by responding to the email. Just a suggestion.

When I report a bad puppy mill, it seems like nothing is being done about it. I used to enjoy using Craigslist, but it appears that the issue of puppy mills is not being addressed seriously. There are around 60 puppy mills listed in South Florida, and it is disheartening. It feels like the company no longer cares about protecting its users from being scammed or exploited. Allowing these unethical practices to continue is distressing for both animals and their owners. It is crucial to take action and stop this problem to prevent further harm to innocent animals.

I need help with a situation on Craig’s List. My ad keeps getting reposted after being marked as prohibited by someone else. The house is located in "Kennewick, Richland, Pasco" and is listed under house rentals. The ad states: "2bd/1ba with new carpet, fresh interior. Master bedroom has en suite bathroom." I received an email from a potential scammer named Jalen Moberg regarding the property at [redacted] Wright Ave, Richland, WA. They claim to own the house but had to leave for California due to family emergencies. The email mentions a rent of $[redacted]/month with a $[redacted] security deposit, and includes various appliances/utilities. I need assistance in dealing with this situation. Thank you.

I recently adopted a puppy and the seller claimed they had received their vaccinations and even included a starter pack. Upon meeting at the address provided, I realized it was a Costco. The seller arrived, handed over the puppy, but I didn't get much information about her. Shortly after, the puppy fell ill and tested positive for parvo, suggesting she wasn't properly vaccinated as stated. The vet bills are mounting and could total over $[redacted], significantly more than the $[redacted] I paid. It's concerning knowing that there are more sick puppies from the same litter, indicating a larger issue with the seller's activities.

I received a cashier's check from someone named Alexandria Hall for rent and deposit, but suspect it's a scam as the check had no contact information for Chase Bank. She claimed to be a 24-year-old female researcher on an island in the Bering Sea who graduated from the University of Paris. When I called her, a young man from Georgia answered, and the Priority mail came from Hickory, North Carolina, while her number showed up as from Minnesota. Due to these inconsistencies, I chose not to deposit the check and informed her via email.
Another issue I faced was receiving aggressive texts from a Hispanic female filled with profanity, falsely accusing me of sending them. As an RN, I would never use such language. I kindly request to have my ad reinstated with the ID #[redacted]. Thank you, and I await your response.

This morning, I made some edits to my listing for a [redacted] Manufactured Home for sale in both Minneapolis and St. Cloud, MN. I seem to have lost track of which city's listing I edited and now I cannot find either post in my account, despite using the links provided in the initial emails. The links are not working now, and I am unable to locate my posts. I want to remove the link I added, but I am unable to access the listings. Additionally, I noticed old listings on my account page and I am curious why both edited and original posts were affected when I only made changes to one. I hope to avoid reposting everything. Thank you.

On April 15th, I responded to a trailer ad and was instructed to contact [redacted] for pictures. Debbie claimed to be a marine biologist out of state with the trailer in Colorado. She requested my address for purchase. Following, an email from eBay directed me to buy eBay cards, scratch the codes, and email photos of them for holding the money until delivery. I sent the money and later received a request for $[redacted] for insurance, promising a refund post-inspection. After contacting eBay customer support, I discovered the cards were already used, and I fell victim to a $1,[redacted] scam. Be cautious of such situations. Subject: Inquiry Regarding Craigslist Rental Ad
I am reaching out regarding a rental advertisement I posted on Craigslist on April 20, [redacted]. I recently received feedback from an individual named Penelope Wedd <[redacted]>, expressing dissatisfaction with the rental price of $[redacted] and criticizing the condition of the property. We suspect we may know the person behind this feedback, and we are seeking assistance in verifying the identity of the sender due to privacy concerns.
I am curious if Craigslist allows users to post comments freely without any safeguards in place to prevent such remarks. We have been utilizing Craigslist for over fifteen years to advertise our rental properties, and this is the first instance of receiving such negative feedback shortly after posting an ad.
Could you please investigate this matter and help us identify the sender of this email? Your prompt assistance in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

In the past three months, nearly every ad I post gets flagged, and despite a no-contact order against family members, the harassment on social media continues. Family members are suspected of flagging my ads within minutes of posting. I've followed all Craigslist guidelines but am still facing persistent harassment. Can Craigslist block my family from flagging my ads or reveal their identities for police involvement? This situation has escalated over four years and necessitates an urgent solution to stop this malicious behavior. My previous attempts to contact Craigslist by phone were unsuccessful. Any assistance in preventing this ongoing harassment would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Best, J.T.

I have received some concerning responses to my post, one via email and another through text. The text sender claims to be sending a check for the aerator I am selling for $[redacted] and wants me to remove the post. They are supposedly at sea. I am cautious and insist the check must clear before the transaction. The email response, received oddly, seems suspicious. The sender's contact number is linked to Ohio, not matching their claim. I want advice on handling these buyers. Should I take down the post due to these peculiarities?

I'm having issues with posting on the forum. I'm only allowed to submit one complaint every 7 days. I don't understand why my posts keep getting removed. Even after renewing them, they are taken down quickly. I had one advertisement back up, but it was removed again in minutes. I can only restore one ad at a time. The other ads for makeup and exercise equipment have also been regularly renewed for months, and now they are being removed arbitrarily. It's frustrating to see one ad go back up only to be removed again. I just want to repost my innocent "for sale by owner" ads without any removals. Thank you.

Hello,
I posted a desk for sale on Craig's List for $[redacted] with photos about 10 days ago. I received an immediate response from a potential buyer who claimed he was interested in the desk and wanted to send me the payment without seeing it in person. I suggested he should inspect the desk first, but he insisted on sending a payment and having a mover collect the desk on his behalf. I asked for his contact details, but he never provided a phone number, city, or address. Eventually, he informed me that he was sending a cashier's check for $[redacted] more than the desk's price to hold it. Today, I received a check for $[redacted] from LPI Inc, with a return address from Amazon in Seattle. This seems suspicious as it's not a cashier's check. I'm unsure about how to proceed, any advice would be appreciated.
