I previously raised concerns about gas prices at the W. Des Moines, IA Costco store but have yet to see any action taken.
It's crucial for our warehouse to stay competitive with local fuel prices. Retailers nearby consistently offer the same or lower prices, and other Des Moines suburbs often have considerably cheaper fuel.
I urge those in charge to address these disparities by actively comparing prices in the area. As an Executive Member, I'm starting to question the value of our membership due to this issue.

Today, I experienced incredibly poor customer service at Deerfield #[redacted]. The employee, Sam, was rude and did not inform me of store policies. Despite waiting patiently for over 10 minutes, he ignored me when I was next in line. When I confronted him, he was dismissive and huffed at my concerns. After a frustrating interaction, I was left without a way to pay for my purchases due to lack of proper communication. The manager, Cliff, was unhelpful and showed no empathy for the situation. Even the cashier and other staff members were unwelcoming and offered no apologies. I left the store feeling mistreated and upset. It was a disappointing experience considering my long history as a customer at this location.

I am a Costco executive member at the Lavista Nebraska Costco. I have called in previously to express my dissatisfaction with the store and most recently, the store manager named Dan called me back. Unfortunately, he only gave me lip service, and I am frustrated with the ongoing issues, particularly with expired and moldy produce still being on the floor for over a year. I have raised this problem multiple times to various staff members, including showing pictures to the manager, but I have only received excuses about their turnover rate. Additionally, my father recently purchased a watermelon that was completely rotten, and when he tried to return it, he was asked for a picture as proof. This led to a confrontation with the cashier before a manager intervened and issued a refund. Another concern I have faced is being double charged for items without being caught by the staff. The store's mismanagement is evident in long wait times for rotisserie chicken and repeated incidents of poor customer service. I am dissatisfied with the store's response and hope that corporate will address these ongoing issues instead of the manager, Dan, calling me back again.

I wanted to purchase a tire from the Redmond Costco. While in line, someone selling Costco credits approached me, and then a lady from the tire department assisted me. I placed my order on 09/30/19 with a 3 to 5 business day wait time. Today is October 4, [redacted], and when I called, the representative mentioned there is no tracking number available yet. I was advised to wait until Monday or Tuesday. Unfortunately, my flat tire remains unfixed, and I am currently using a spare wheel. This whole situation has been quite disappointing.

We buy the small packs of Kirkland organic hummus for our sons' school lunches. My youngest, who is 5, struggles to finish his lunch in the short time they allow for eating. When he came home with untouched hummus today, I discovered mold inside with an expiration date of 12/7. I have a picture to show you. Has this occurred before? I am writing to inform Costco that I was diagnosed with food poisoning after consuming a Costco beef hot dog on October 20th, [redacted]. Following the meal, I began to experience severe symptoms that led to hospitalization first on Sunday night and then again on Wednesday due to worsening conditions. Tests revealed an infection in my small intestine, which led to a near abscess formation. The bacteria identified was typically associated with contaminated or undercooked chicken or beef, with the hotdog being the only beef item consumed prior to falling ill. I have documentation from Credit Valley Hospital outlining the bacteria, antibiotics administered, and further treatment. The gastroenterologist confirmed the hotdog as the source of the issue. My membership recently expired, and I received a flier in the mail offering a $10 cash card for renewing by Sept 29, [redacted]. On the deadline day, I tried to renew at the store with the offer but the cashier was unaware of it. I presented the mailer but was still charged full price. After visiting the Membership desk, I was informed that it might take 2-3 weeks for the offer to process. It has now been 4 weeks, and I haven't received anything yet.

I've been planning to buy the new Apple iMac 27" during your 'Black Friday' sale since I saw the flyer weeks ago. I set a reminder and tried to order at 7am yesterday. The website wasn't working, and I couldn't make the purchase. I tried multiple times each hour throughout the day to no avail. Finally, at 1am, the website was functioning, but the item was showing 'out of stock', and I could not buy it. I am requesting Costco to honor the price either online or in-store. I went to the Hawthorne location to pick up two premade pizzas from the deli, but was informed they no longer make them. Now, I'm at the Torrance Costco where they still offer the premade pizzas. This was inconvenient as I have a birthday party in two hours and wanted both types of pizzas. Premade pizzas are perfect for advance planning for events, while freshly made ones are suitable for immediate consumption. The premade pizzas are essential for occasions when you cannot pick them up right before the party. Additionally, ready-made pizzas are great for bulk purchases like I do for my robotics team monthly. It's crucial for all Costco stores to maintain consistency in offering both types of pizzas for customer convenience.

I experienced a shocking and upsetting encounter with an employee, MARK, at the St Louis Park Minnesota Costco. MARK was incredibly rude and disrespectful while checking our receipt. Despite trying to be careful due to my friend's physical disability, he aggressively demanded I move the cart closer. This caused me to spill soda on myself, leading to a scene that caught the attention of others. My friend and I were left bewildered by his behavior, feeling belittled and mistreated. We were puzzled by how someone like MARK could represent Costco, especially considering his inappropriate conduct. His demeanor was unsettling, and his presumed authority made the situation even more distressing. The fact that he was dressed differently from regular employees added to the confusion. MARK's unprofessionalism and hostility made the experience truly unpleasant for us.
