I have been a Chime account holder for a few years. I typically use it for bill payments, lunches, and gas. Recently, I deposited $[redacted] in three separate cash deposits for a larger purchase. Upon noticing unauthorized charges, I decided to address the issue with the merchant first to potentially avoid getting a new card if they reverse the charges. However, after a few days, Chime emailed me, indicating they closed my account for violating their deposit account agreement. I needed to withdraw the significant sum I deposited but faced issues logging in. When I contacted customer service, they claimed my email was incorrect, despite my insistence. To proceed, I provided a copy of my ID and the last few transaction receipts. Despite my efforts, it has been almost two months with no resolution. While I can access my account via customer service, they won't update my email due to the closed status and lack of details about the violation. I am frustrated by the lack of progress and communication, as well as the inability to retrieve my deposited funds now that the account is closed.

I have been locked out of my account for a few weeks now. Despite multiple attempts through calls, emails, and messages in the last few days, my account remains locked. I have provided them with my updated phone number and numerous identity verification documents, but my account is still inaccessible. The process to reset my password keeps circling back to my old phone number instead of updating it. It has caused me financial losses and affected my business. I recently received a suspicious call from someone claiming to assist me with my account but never received the promised resolution. If the issue is not resolved soon, I will have to close my account and leave a negative review.

I didn't intend to open a Chime account. I received a $[redacted] payment online. When I tried to access the funds, I had to provide personal information to Chime. I've been attempting to contact customer service with no success. I was informed two days ago that my card was sent, and yesterday I was told it was in a green envelope that was delivered. However, I never received it at my door or in my mailbox. This situation is frustrating, and I need it resolved quickly.

Chime unexpectedly closed my account a few months ago and recently sent me a check for the remaining balance. Unfortunately, the check got wet, making it hard to cash. I reached out to request a replacement, but they simply canceled the check. Despite providing proof of my address multiple times, they now requested additional proof. Communication was initially responsive, but after submitting the last piece of requested information, I have not heard back for over two years. The owed amount is substantial, and I am struggling to get a response from their customer service team regarding reissuing a replacement check.

I opened a Chime account back in [redacted] or [redacted], and my first stimulus check was deposited into the account. I had my card sent to [redacted] East Commonwealth Avenue in Fullerton, California, [redacted], but it never arrived. When I moved into a shelter and tried to contact them, they requested my ID, which was not needed to open the account. I opened an account with Chime about a month ago but never received a card or used the account. Last night, a friend sent me $40 to this inactive account. However, I currently have no plans to activate it. My friend's name showed up on your app now that she has Chime, so she transferred the money assuming it would be okay. I added money to my Chime account and later discovered it was closed without any notice. Nobody informed me about the closure or requested me to return the card. Despite providing all the requested information, I have not received the $[redacted] refund yet. I tried to use the card for a storage payment, only to find out it was closed. I refuse to surrender the card until I get my money back. I complied with providing all my information but never received any follow-up. On July 7th around 6 pm, I tried to withdraw $20 from an ATM at "THE PUB 1," but it didn't give me the money. I then attempted the withdrawal at a confectionery store's ATM, which also did not dispense the funds despite indicating it did. I have all the ATM receipts as evidence and will photograph them for you. Thank you!

I recently loaded $[redacted] onto my Chime Card, only to find out the card had an expired expiration date. When I tried to check the balance at an ATM, I discovered I couldn't use the funds due to the expired date. Hi, my SpotMe feature has been deactivated even though I've been with Chime for over four years, maintaining the same job with regular deposits into my account. Lately, I haven't received any deposits for three weeks due to my employer messing up my hours. I've been waiting for the issue to be resolved, which should happen soon. My card expired, and I have been waiting for a new one for over a month. The app stated it was delivered yesterday, but I have not received it yet. I am unable to purchase groceries, gas, or pay my bills as I have no access to my money. I'm having trouble accessing my account after losing my phone and email access. I faced a similar issue with Cash App, but after providing upfront verifications, they helped me regain access despite initially unlinking my card by mistake. If the customer support had not untied my chime card, I could have easily logged back into Chime. I am experiencing recurring issues with Chime placing a hold on my account each time I try to purchase an airline ticket. Despite multiple attempts and speaking with three customer service representatives, the matter remains unresolved. Their current solution is to have me wait for an unspecified period for an email notification once the block is lifted, which is concerning as the ticket prices are increasing rapidly. To work around this, I am considering withdrawing cash from an ATM to buy the ticket in person at the airport. However, I am unsure if the ATM withdrawal will be successful if my account is still blocked.
