I have two pending refunds on my account. The first one was from Credit Up on October 6th for $39.90, and the second one was from My Credit Observer on December 5th for the same amount. These refunds are related to unauthorized transactions that Chime alerted me about via text. I explicitly stated that I did not authorize these charges, yet the bank processed them anyway. I have not seen the refund reflected in my account yet. I urgently need these funds to be reinstated today. Thank you for your help. - Jennifer C.

I am an employer at Diamond Custom Coatings, and I have a Chime Bank member who was re-hired after being terminated in [redacted]. The payroll record still showed his Chime Bank Account for direct deposit. However, the employee claims he no longer has this account and did not authorize the direct deposit. When we tried to reverse the deposit, which is the usual process for fixing errors, it bounced back due to insufficient funds. In the meantime, we have issued additional funds to the employee. The employee says he has not used this account, but we have been unsuccessful in resolving this with Chime Bank. We are seeking a refund for the deposit of $1,[redacted].73 made on 2/23, which was attempted to reverse on 2/27 but failed due to insufficient funds.

I have been having a terrible experience with Chime for the last two weeks. They locked my account without any explanation, despite me providing all the requested documents multiple times. I spoke to a few individuals claiming to be managers, but they couldn't assist and ended the call abruptly while misleading me. This situation is pushing me to consider taking legal action. I don't give Chime any stars; they show no concern for customers. It feels like a scam, and I am extremely worried as no one is helping me regain access to my account. I rely on direct deposit, and it's distressing to think that Chime may be withholding my money while I face the risk of homelessness. The whole situation is truly disheartening.

Hello! I created my account approximately two months ago but mistakenly entered my phone number incorrectly. As a result, I have been unable to sign in and complete the account setup. Each time I attempt to sign in, I am prompted to restart the creation process only to be notified that I already have an account. Despite my efforts to reset the password, the system does not allow me to do so. Given that this account is linked to my bank, I am concerned about my credit score being affected by this issue. I am reaching out for assistance as I prefer not to call due to experiencing significant social anxiety. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am facing a major issue as my phone got stolen last night, and my chime account details and funds are on it. I urgently need to access them to buy a new phone. I am unable to update my number as I don't have a new service until I pay for it. Moreover, I only have a digital card and can't withdraw any cash. My new phone must have NFC for me to use it. Can you please advise if I can utilize a temporary number to access my account and funds? This is an emergency situation, and I would greatly appreciate your prompt assistance. Thank you in advance for your help. I am eagerly awaiting your response.

My aunt sent me $[redacted] through her Chime account to my phone number [redacted]. When I tried to claim the payment, I attempted to attach my Venmo card and a NetSpend card. Unfortunately, neither card connected on the site. I noticed a past transaction where a friend Paula G.'s card ending in [redacted] was used, and the site provided me with the option to use that card. However, Paula confirmed that no payment was received on her end. I am unsure which card the money was sent to. I would appreciate your assistance in locating the $[redacted] payment. Thank you.

I misplaced my phone, and along with it, the access to my Chime account and the email associated with it because I relied on saved passwords. Unfortunately, the recovery number for my email belongs to my ex, who is uncooperative. Despite numerous attempts, submitting a clear photo of my ID for identity verification with Chime has been unsuccessful. The process has been incredibly frustrating. I am willing to undergo video verification or any other necessary steps to regain access to my account.

I misplaced my phone and now need to verify my identity to access my account. Unfortunately, my ID is at my mother's house in Lancaster, where I receive my mail as I am currently homeless. I cannot retrieve it in time. Is there an alternative way to verify myself without the physical ID? I urgently require this to secure an apartment and provide proof of income for my case, but time is limited. If there is any other method of verification available, please let me know as I am in desperate need of this to avoid jeopardizing my housing situation. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I completed the application, received the card, and called to activate it. However, I am unable to set the PIN for my card. Additionally, I requested to update my phone number and email address but can't log into my account. Every time I call, it indicates that the application was not completed, despite following the prompts to finish it. I've called five times, but have not received assistance. My main concern is setting the PIN for my card to be able to use it.

I purchased a plane ticket but forgot to transfer money beforehand, resulting in the initial transaction being declined. I decided not to attempt another transaction right away to avoid being double-charged. This morning, the money was deducted for the ticket, but there have been additional unsuccessful withdrawal attempts afterward. The travel agent at my workplace informed me that the payment had not been received. I am hesitant to purchase another ticket until the situation with this transaction is resolved. He recommended contacting my bank to look into this matter.

I'm currently experiencing difficulty accessing the app due to phone issues, causing me to use my tablet with a different number. Despite receiving notifications on this number, I'm not getting the 2-step verification code. I've temporarily updated the phone number on the account using a friend's number to login. However, I can't locate my credit builder account balance. As crucial payments are linked to this account, it's worrying not to find it. I've been relying on the credit builder for various transactions, and the sudden disappearance is concerning. It's vital for me to access the account promptly to avoid potential complications.

I am Delenea Jones, and I have reported multiple transactions on my Chime account that I did not make. Despite filing a dispute that was later denied, it is clear to anyone reviewing my account that there are unusual transactions affecting it. I have been a Chime customer for about 2 to 2 1/2 years and have never experienced issues like these before. I am hesitant to file another appeal due to negative reviews I have seen about Chime's appeal process online. Therefore, I believe my best course of action is to submit complaints to the Better Business Bureau, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and seek independent arbitration for resolution.

Last month, and again today, I received a bill separate from my usual charges for $[redacted].48. After contacting Verizon Wireless, they seemed unaware of the additional fees. They apologized and assured me no further bills would be sent, but unfortunately, I have received more correspondence, and now I am being sent to collections by Verizon. This violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act, as I would have needed to be delinquent for [redacted] days before this step could be taken. I am eager to resolve this significant inconvenience and understand the root cause of these unexpected charges.

Hello, I'm Kimberly Samples. I have a Chime account with direct deposits from Delaware North at the Mardi Gras Casino. Unfortunately, my phone broke, and I can't find my hardcopy passwords. I need to access my account to get paid tomorrow. My account is linked to my old phone number and email, but I can no longer access them. My new phone number is [redacted], and my new email is [redacted] I tried to recover my account via email but was advised to use the app, which I can't access without my password. I require assistance with finalizing the setup process for a new Visa/Debit account. It has been close to a week, and I am yet to receive the initial email to commence the process. I have been in contact with Mike, one of your representatives, via phone. Mike has been very knowledgeable and supportive. Despite multiple attempts through messages and texts daily, I am unable to access my funds that were withdrawn from my BofA checking account in three transactions: $[redacted].00, $[redacted].00, and $[redacted].00. I need to make essential payments, including my car payment and insurance, but my checking account is currently in the negative. Mike had me download and send money to specific emails as instructed. I am anxiously waiting for the email to complete the Chime account setup to access my funds. This situation is causing me frustration and concern. I urgently require assistance on how to proceed. Thank you. Best Regards, Teresa

I have been in contact with Mike over the phone, one of your knowledgeable and helpful representatives. I noticed that Chime has been deducting $47.00 directly from my first deposit each month. This is different from my past banking experiences. I have been informed that this deduction is not allowed to be changed. I am requesting a refund for these deductions and would like the credit building account to be closed while keeping the checking account open. These deductions have had a negative impact on my finances, and I am hoping for a quick resolution to this issue.

I am frustrated that I cannot access my Shine account. Please contact me at [redacted]. I have had this issue since receiving the card, and I am tired of it. I need immediate customer service assistance. How many more words must I type before I can speak to a live person? If I do not receive a call back soon, I will have to escalate this matter further.
