I have an issue with Capital One Auto Finance regarding a missed payment for my [redacted] Toyota Highlander in May. Since the initial auto draft from Chase Bank, we've paid $[redacted] instead of the stated amount of $[redacted].42, with an additional amount going towards the principal. There seems to be confusion with our auto account numbers, with the company claiming we are behind using a different account number. We've consistently made $[redacted] payments, with an extra $56.58 going towards the principal. This needs to be corrected immediately, with the $[redacted] payments from October [redacted] to May [redacted] credited to our account. This is the second auto loan with Capital One, and similar issues occurred previously. It's frustrating because we were assured there were no late fees until after 10 days past due, yet we were charged monthly. The language barrier with customer service is a concern, and the company needs to ensure their representatives can communicate effectively. We plan to pay off the car early, setting up monthly payments accordingly. I will review financial documents to clarify the correct account number. Signed: Carlton M. Frustrated by these financial mistakes and eager for a resolution.

November 17, [redacted]: payment for the remaining balance I tried to arrange this plan online but encountered difficulties. I appreciate your understanding and support during this challenging period. Thank you, Kimberly C. [redacted]

I am frustrated with the customer service I received regarding transferring my car registration from Nevada to Oregon. After submitting the required paperwork and payment of $[redacted], I did not hear back for two months. Following up, I was promised several call-backs which never occurred. I am driving with expired tags and Nevada plates, feeling neglected by the lack of communication. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue, I have faced delays and broken promises. I am considering refinancing my car elsewhere due to this unacceptable experience. If I do not receive a response soon, I will escalate this matter further, including contacting the BBB.

I recently realized that the title to our [redacted] 4DR Sedona Kia van is missing. I finished paying off the loan about 10 to 12 years ago. The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles says there is still a lien on file from Capital One. They require an original signed release of lien on company letterhead from Capital One N A. Can someone please send me a release of lien? VIN: KNDUP[redacted]10 Owner: Virlent Eugene Whaley Address: [redacted] Highview Terrace, Watauga, TX, [redacted] Email: [redacted]

Hello, my name is Tara Lease, and I had a loan through Johns Great Cars in Reading, PA for a [redacted] Nissan Altima with VIN NUMBER (1N4AL3APXHC185425), co-signed by my father, Michael Lease. I've been trying to reach out, but have faced communication issues where I struggle to understand the representatives. I recently had an accident while delivering for DoorDash, and my insurance and GAP coverage were denied due to not having a separate commercial policy for this work. My insurer, Erie Auto Insurance, requires documentation from the dealership to cancel the existing GAP policy, but I haven't been able to get through to Johns Great Cars for the necessary forms. My car is now in an impound lot with accumulating storage fees, and I urgently need to know if Capital One wants it back. Please contact me at the provided emails [redacted] or [redacted] or at [redacted] to assist with this complicated situation. Thank you for your attention. Regards, Tara Lease

On February 2, [redacted], I received an email from Capital One offering a settlement amount and payment options with a decision date of May 12, [redacted]. Despite efforts to gather the money by the planned payment date of February 13th, my car was repossessed on February 12th. When contacting Capital One on the 13th, I was informed that the settlement offer was no longer valid due to the repossession. Although the email stated the offer may no longer be available in such circumstances, it did not definitively state it would be revoked. Despite my attempts to persuade multiple representatives, Capital One remained firm in their decision not to accept the full settlement. Surprisingly, on February 14th, I received another settlement offer, with Capital One claiming it was sent prior to the repossession, despite my only seeing it that day. I am ready and willing to pay the settlement, but it is frustrating that they are now unwilling to honor it after repossessing the car, despite continuing to send me new offers.

I am currently facing financial difficulties and recently had to pay for a vehicle tow and now need to cover a $[redacted] repair cost. I am seeking a one-month loan extension. Furthermore, I am exploring options to refinance or sell the car as my ex-wife is the primary borrower, and I am a co-borrower. Despite being solely responsible for payments, I have been unable to refinance due to the car's value and my financial and health challenges. It is urgent that I address this situation for legal reasons related to our separation.

I refinanced my auto loan with Capital One in October [redacted]. On March 1 of this year, I paid off the auto loan in full. I received my title and lien release in the mail about two weeks later. I took the lien release to the DMV to remove Capital One as the Lienholder on my title. However, the DMV informed me that Arizona is a mandatory ELT state, meaning the Lienholder has to send the lien release electronically. I have been trying to get this resolved for the last month so I can sell my car. The customer service representatives at Capital One have given me inconsistent information, promising to resolve the issue but failing to do so. They need to send the lien release electronically to the DMV. I spoke with the DMV, and they provided me with a number for Capital One to confirm their ELT participation status in Arizona. I'm frustrated with the lack of progress and consistent information from Capital One.

Hello, I am seeking assistance. My name is Georgette A., and I currently have an auto loan with you for a [redacted] Honda HR-V. I have set up automatic monthly payments from my checking account to ensure my car payment is made promptly. Recently, I had to switch to a new checking account at my bank due to potential hacking attempts. Regrettably, I have been experiencing difficulty reaching out to your customer service as the system appears not to register my responses when I enter my details. It is imperative that I speak with a representative urgently before my upcoming car payment is due on the 17th. Kindly contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

Earlier today, I called to request a deferred payment on my account to catch up and avoid paying extra interest for being late. Unfortunately, the lady I spoke with wasn't very helpful. She suggested paying $[redacted].00 three times to catch up by September 3rd, which doesn't solve my problem. When I asked why I didn't qualify for a different arrangement, she couldn't provide an answer. I'm hoping to set up a monthly payment plan for the 7th of each month, possibly arranging for automatic payments and increasing the amount I pay each month.

I contacted to request a one-time courtesy removal for the last reported late payment. During a refinancing process, the company took longer than expected to finalize it. Throughout the loan term, I was never late except for the very last payment, which was paid in full by the refinancing company. I believe it's unfair not to grant a courtesy removal considering my loyal history with the company. While I can comprehend if there were multiple late payments on the auto loan, there were none prior to the payoff.

I recently called to request a one-time courtesy removal of a late payment that was noted on my credit report. During that time, I was in the process of refinancing my car, which took longer than expected. Throughout the loan term, I have had a good payment record except for the final payment, which was settled in full by the refinancing company. It is disappointing that the original lender is unwilling to consider this special circumstance for a loyal customer like myself, especially as there were no previous late payments on the auto loan before it was refinanced.

I have a current auto loan with Capital One Auto Finance that I have unfortunately fallen behind on due to extreme financial hardship over the last 6 months. I am going through a tough separation and divorce from my husband, impacting my finances greatly. I am the primary caregiver for our 6-year-old daughter, as her father is not currently providing child support. Losing my job due to scheduling conflicts and lack of support further exacerbated my situation. I faced additional challenges such as the loss of my father and struggling with depression, which led to a stay in a mental health facility. I have since regained employment and have started earning income. I also babysit to supplement my earnings. It's crucial for me to maintain my vehicle to fulfill my responsibilities and work commitments. I am committed to catching up on my payments as soon as possible by working overtime and utilizing my additional job. Losing my car jeopardizes my employment and childcare opportunities. I request understanding and assistance in keeping my car to resolve this situation promptly. Thank you for your consideration. Marli V.

Good morning. I want to apologize for the lack of communication about my sister's car. I am currently coordinating with her credit unions to settle her accounts to address the debts she had before she passed away. I am also in the process of paying off her vehicle since she did not have insurance. Unfortunately, her passing has left us with unexpected expenses during these challenging economic times.

Good morning. I recently completed a prequalification with Vroom for an automobile purchase. They confirmed that I was pre-qualified. However, I received a notification from Credit Karma indicating a hard inquiry on my credit report. This has happened before, and I understand the importance of avoiding unnecessary hard inquiries. I simply wanted to inquire about pre-qualification. Could you please assist me in disputing this issue? Thank you so much. Best regards, Marilyn L.
