I have a concern regarding my recent hotel reservation at Comfort Suites in Grove City, OH on August 18, [redacted]. Upon check-in, I discovered that a booking for Comfort Inn was made instead of Comfort Suites. I contacted the Comfort Inn manager, Edward, who spoke with the Comfort Suites supervisor, Ms. Janie. They agreed not to charge my credit card for the Comfort Inn reservation since I checked into the Comfort Suites. Both Mr. Edward and Ms. Janie suggested that I reach out to Booking.com to address the situation. Unfortunately, I attempted to contact Booking.com three times but each call was automatically disconnected after waiting over 10-15 minutes. I am requesting confirmation that my credit card will not be billed the $[redacted].83 for the Comfort Inn reservation as per Mr. Edward's agreement. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you for your assistance. Best, D. M. Kasunic

Hello, I've written a review of Mackinnon House & Lodge. It's not overly positive, but now I see that you're using the only positive thing I wrote on the hotel's homepage. Also, my pictures still haven't been posted with my review, as promised. This hotel is the worst I've ever experienced, it's directly harmful to health and should be shut down immediately. I don't understand why you would collaborate with this hotel, as I'm not the only one who's had bad experiences. If you don't remove my words about loving this hotel and add my pictures to my complete review within a few days, this will be the last time I book through you, and I will advise everyone I know not to use Booking.com. I am seeking clarification on the £[redacted].36 charge for renting a car through Booking.com. After booking an airport hotel, I received a discounted rate that factored in a 15% savings for the hotel reservation. The total for the car rental was £74.16, with additional insurance at £58.20, and a deduction of £11.12 due to the hotel booking, bringing the total to £[redacted].24. I am disappointed to have been charged the full amount, and this discrepancy feels misleading. As a loyal customer with a history of booking 12 hotels, totaling over £[redacted] recently, I hope for a resolution. Looking forward to your response. Warm regards, D. Broadley

Hello, I would like to share my recent experience at the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton in Turkey, Kemer. I had booked a King Room with Sea View for my relatives' honeymoon. Unfortunately, upon check-in, they were given a room without the promised sea view, instead facing the garden and swimming pool. The room size was also smaller than what was originally reserved. I have evidence in the form of a video recording to support my claim. I reached out to the hotel manager to request the room I had booked two months prior, but they refused, attributing it to a mistake on booking.com's part. I was even asked to pay more for the correct room. As a frequent traveler, I trust booking.com for reliable service. I am seeking assistance in resolving this issue promptly.

I attempted to cancel my reservation at the Askania Hotel in Prague through a phone number I found online, but unfortunately, I believe I fell victim to a scam. The individuals claimed to be from booking.com and even provided a cancellation confirmation with the booking.com logo. I am now seeking a refund as I could really use the money. I have reported this incident to the police, and my bank suspects they are international scammers. It is crucial to address this issue to prevent others, especially the elderly, from losing their savings. The scammers can be reached at [redacted], ask for Lester Chapman, Mr. Williams, or a man named Parks, claiming to be based in Seattle. I have tried contacting booking.com directly with no response. I am hoping for a refund for my reservation at the Askania Hotel from September 16 to 30. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dolores Tamulevich.

Hello, I made a reservation for a room at the Green Garden Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka, for $[redacted].86 without realizing it was non-refundable. Upon realizing my error, I contacted Booking.com's customer service and spoke with an agent named David. He instructed me to purchase a $[redacted] gift card, provide the code, and then directed me to contact Alex at [redacted] ext. [redacted]. Following Alex's advice, I bought a Google Play gift card, provided the code, and spoke with David again. Later, I discovered I had made another booking at Natures Treat for $[redacted].45, which I wanted to cancel as someone else was arranging accommodations for us. When I informed David, he insisted that both refunds needed to be processed together and required the same gift card procedure as before. Despite my argument that the second hotel booking was fully refundable, David mentioned I would only receive a 10% refund on the $[redacted].45 booking. Regards

Good afternoon, I made a reservation at a hostel in Sydney under the confirmation number [redacted] and Pin [redacted] for K.L. Soon after, a friend offered me a place to stay, making me decide to cancel my reservation. Even though it was a non-refundable booking, the cancellation policy stated that I would be entitled to a partial refund. I did cancel within the timeframe specified, as indicated on the website. However, after receiving an email from booking.com mentioning the property's policy of no refunds, I am now unsure about the refund process. The property advised me to contact booking.com for the refund. I would appreciate some clarification on this matter. I can provide screenshots to illustrate the conflicting information. Thank you for your assistance. Cheers, K.L.

Hello, I am reaching out from Unite Students regarding an arrangement we had with PopUp Bristol through booking.com this summer. We have recently terminated our partnership due to safety concerns. We notified Poprooms to vacate the property by 12 noon yesterday, but it seems there may be guests unaware of this change. I want to confirm if you have been informed about this situation by Poprooms. It is crucial to avoid any reputational damage caused by guests arriving and finding their bookings cancelled. Please ensure that Poproom Bristol reallocates or refunds the bookings promptly to minimize inconvenience for these customers. Feel free to contact me for additional details. Thank you.

I made a reservation at "Miço Hotel" for the dates of August 12th to 14th. My booking reference number is [redacted]. The hotel payment was processed on August 9th via booking.com. Upon our arrival on August 12th, my wife and I were surprised to find out that the hotel reception had canceled our reservation despite the payment being made. The booking confirmation was still valid, adding to our disappointment. This unforeseen situation negatively impacted our annual leave. Discovering the cancellation upon arrival at the hotel reception completely disrupted our vacation. Furthermore, I was informed that our room was resold at a higher price, which is unethical and potentially illegal after receiving confirmation and payment. The hotel did not make an effort to provide an alternative room; instead, they suggested finding accommodation at another hotel. To date, the hotel has not refunded my payment. I am urgently seeking an explanation from booking.com regarding this unacceptable incident.

I submitted a cancellation request in writing to Booking.com for a hotel reservation following the hotel's instructions to do so. Despite my efforts to cancel with both Booking.com and the hotel before the cancellation deadline, I was still charged for the room. Booking.com and the hotel directed me back and forth, leading to confusion and frustration. I kindly request a refund to be processed back to my card for the charged amount. Thank you.

I have booked several hotels/apartments in Croatia and Italy through booking.com. I am confused as to why a USD amount shows online, but then when it's time to pay, it shows in euros. This change in currency affects the overall price even with conversion. The problem also arises when I need to pay in cash, as it gets converted from euros to kuna at the hotel, not from USD to kuna. It would have been helpful if they had clearly stated that some hotels only accept cash. I have to calculate the euro amount to USD and then to kuna, which I believe inflates the price. The rate from kuna to dollars is not the same as kuna to euros. Additionally, there were fees to withdraw money because credit cards were not accepted at the last two places I stayed. My credit card has no fees, so I was not happy with this experience. Thank you, Lolita.

I made a reservation through Booking.com on July 27 at Econo Lodge in Watertown, New York. Upon arrival, I realized I had booked for the wrong date. The hotel was full but stated I had a reservation for August 1st. After booking another hotel, I contacted Booking.com, and they managed to change my arrival date to July 28 and cancel the booking for August 1st with Econo Lodge. However, I was still charged for August 1st when I checked my statement. Despite contacting Econo Lodge multiple times with no response from the manager, they mentioned that Booking.com needed to speak with the owner to issue a refund for the mistaken charge of two days instead of one. I am still waiting for a resolution. Thank you. - John C. from Quinte West, Canada.

I drove my son back to college in Iowa from California and booked a hotel on my phone late at night just outside Salt Lake City on August 21st. Unfortunately, I accidentally booked for early September instead. When we arrived at the hotel that same night, they had no record of our reservation due to the wrong date. I promptly canceled the September reservation online once I discovered the error, but I am still being charged for it. We did stay at the hotel on the correct date, August 21st-22nd. The confirmation # is: [redacted].

I had a reservation at Elite Inn Hotel in San Francisco that I made a few days ago. Today, which is the check-in day, I received a voicemail from the hotel stating they could not accommodate me due to a glitch in the Booking.com system. They advised me not to contact them but to reach out to Booking.com. Despite this, I went to the property and recorded the conversation with the receptionist, who explained they were overbooked and gave me a different contact number from the one that called me earlier. I expressed my frustration at the situation, questioning why they couldn't have informed me earlier so I could have made alternate arrangements.

Subject: Complaint regarding Apartment Booking at St. Anna Square Apartments To the Customer Service Department at Booking.com, I am writing to express my disappointment with the apartment listed on your website and the unsatisfactory level of service provided. My name is Consultant Yeusef Alhadad, a judge consultant at the High Court in Kuwait. I hold your esteemed and reputable company to higher standards. Regrettably, I must file this complaint in the hope of a swift and satisfactory resolution. Despite being a regular Booking.com user, I am appalled by the experience I encountered. Our booking for two flats at the St. Anna Square Apartments in January [redacted] was a far cry from our expectations upon arrival on July 23, [redacted]. Accompanied by my family of ten - six adults, three children, and one infant - we faced numerous issues with the apartment. Firstly, the lack of a proper entrance for taxis, the inconvenience of parking far from the hotel, the cramped elevator fitting only two persons, and the absence of air conditioning in the tiny rooms were major disappointments. Additionally, the suggestion to cancel our Booking.com reservation to save money was dubious and unprofessional. Upon leaving the substandard apartment and relocating to the Holiday Inn, I discovered a significant unauthorized charge of [redacted] pounds on my Visa, allegedly from www.Acuitus.uk.net. Despite contacting the Kuwait Bank to stop the transaction, the issue remains unresolved. I expect Booking.com to address this matter urgently, provide a full refund, compensate for the ordeal endured, and take measures to prevent such incidents in the future. Apartment Name: St. Anna Square Apartments Confirmation Number: [redacted].[redacted].[redacted] (6-person occupancy) Ref#: [redacted] (4-person occupancy) Check-in Date: July 23 Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Honorable Judge Mr. Yeusef Alhadad

I need assistance with canceling our booking at Novotel Nathan Road HK. The property has agreed to issue a full refund, but Booking.com needs to contact them for the refund to be arranged. The contact person at the property is Julieta P Santos, the Reservations Supervisor. We have been having trouble getting a response from Booking.com and are unable to reach them directly. It has been three days, and the lack of communication is frustrating. We will avoid booking through Booking.com in the future for our employees. Please process the refund as the property is ready to assist once contacted. Thank you.

I intended to book a room in Duncan, British Columbia, Canada, but the site directed me to Duncan, South Carolina, USA instead. Unfortunately, I encountered problems trying to cancel the reservation as the phone number provided did not work properly. The booking ID was [redacted]78 under Wayne S. at the Wood Spring Suites hotel in South Carolina. We rely on Bookings.com regularly and were disappointed with this misleading experience. We expect not to be charged for this booking due to the confusion caused by the site showing options from two different locations. We are canceling this reservation as we are currently in Canada. Thank you, Louise P. and Wayne S.

Dear Booking.com, I am emailing to express my disappointment with the level of service provided. I had booked a stay at 60’s Hostel in Singapore from August 21-22, [redacted]. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience due to bed bugs. Upon discovering the bugs, I requested to cancel and move to another hotel, which was not handled promptly. I visited alternative accommodations at midnight, risking my safety to find a clean bed. The next day, the hostel agreed to refund me, but they informed me that since the booking was made through booking.com, they couldn't proceed with the refund. I am requesting a refund of $20 Singapore dollars for the unpleasant experience. I trust that this issue will be dealt with urgently. Please respond via email to discuss compensation. Thank you, Veronica Lee Kai Yeen
