I purchased an Asus Memo 7 Tablet for my daughter last Christmas on 12/22/[redacted]. Unfortunately, we are experiencing issues with powering it on. Prior to it completely failing to turn on, we had difficulty keeping it on as it would shut down unexpectedly. Now, it is completely unresponsive. I have the tablet and receipt in my possession, but regrettably, I cannot locate the box, manuals, or warranty card.

I was listening to music when the music started to skip. After that, all my programs were running slow and acting strange. I attempted to reboot my Asus computer, and it went into reinstallation mode, trying to reinstall Windows 7. Unfortunately, the process was very slow and ended up crashing. Windows then attempted to repair itself, but it eventually resulted in nothing but a black screen with a large arrow in the middle. At this point, my computer is completely unusable, and I don't have a backup of Windows 7.

I have encountered issues with the email form on your support page, so I am reaching out this way. After purchasing my laptop with 1GB of RAM and later upgrading it to 2GB by adding a second module, I realized during the Windows 7 upgrade from XP that it was only recognizing 1GB of RAM. Both modules have been tested and are functional, leading me to believe the problem lies in how the RAM is being addressed. My BIOS is version [redacted], and I wonder if updating it to the latest version might resolve this issue or if it is a hardware malfunction.

I purchased the K501UX laptop around two weeks ago. Everything was working well until I put it to sleep and tried to wake it up a few hours later. Upon reaching the password screen, I could move the cursor with the trackpad, but couldn't click on anything (even with a wireless mouse). Restarting it only made things worse. I couldn't progress past the time and date screen to reach the password entry. Pressing buttons did not help, although I could trigger the Sticky Keys alert. After shutting it down again, it went into the Blue Screen of Death before the screen went dark. The laptop's indicator light showed it was still on, despite being unresponsive. Is there a way to resolve this issue?

My ASUS Chromebook Flip's keyboard is malfunctioning. I have been forced to use the on-screen keyboard, which is less efficient for my schoolwork. When I type, most keys do not respond appropriately, and sometimes pressing one key triggers a different function, like adjusting the brightness. This issue occurs with multiple keys, causing random malfunctions. Any advice on resolving this problem or understanding its cause would be greatly appreciated.

I have an Asus Notebook F555L. Since the latest Windows 10 update, I keep getting a message saying, "Your PC needs to be restarted to finish setting up this device Asus support device." Even though Microsoft staff tried to resolve it, they were unable to fix the issue. I tried to find a driver update for my notebook on the Asus website, but I couldn't find a match for my model number among the available downloads. I'm hesitant to roll back to the previous Windows version because I don't want to lose Microsoft's security enhancements. I'm hopeful to receive a solution to this problem. Thank you.

I recently met with a seller to buy a computer component. I requested proof of purchase for warranty purposes. The seller claimed a friend bought it for him and promised to provide the information. Despite multiple attempts to contact him via email, text, and phone calls, I have not received a response. When I finally reached someone on the phone, they confirmed the seller's name listed in the email but denied knowing him. The call abruptly ended, and subsequent attempts to reach him have been unsuccessful. This situation raises concerns about the legitimacy and quality of the product. Obtaining the proof of purchase is essential for any potential warranty repairs.

My Windows update failed, and my ASUS VivoBook 14 X442UF laptop has been lagging frequently. I tried a system restore last night to fix the broken updates. This morning, I shut it down, but when I tried to power it on tonight, it kept shutting down after showing the logo. After waiting for about 10 minutes and trying again, it finally started but displayed "disk scanning press any key to cancel" below the ASUS logo. I've noticed random single beeps during use, and the startup is slower now. I ran a boot scan for viruses, but none were found. I'm unsure what's causing these issues, so any help identifying the problem or advice on whether resetting the laptop would resolve it would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Sirs, I have been a loyal customer of your company since [redacted]. I purchased an ASUS A52J laptop back then, which has served me well without any major issues. Recently, on May 16th, [redacted], I bought a new laptop, the ASUS VivoBook Pro 15 N580VD-DM415T. Unfortunately, I encountered problems with this new laptop right from the start. The screen displayed unusual colors and the touchpad did not respond correctly. I sent the laptop for repairs in Greece on June 7th and received it back on June 28th, but the touchpad issue persisted. After a brief period of use, I had to sent it back on July 9th, and it has been in the service department for almost 20 days with no resolution. This prolonged delay has caused me personal and financial inconvenience. I have lost patience with the service department's lack of response and transparency. Considering the high cost of the laptop, I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter. If my demands are not met, I will have to pursue legal action. I request a complete replacement of the faulty laptop, not just repairs. The repair number is GRB1J70102. Your immediate attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Evanthia Botsi

Despite reaching out to your service provider, I did not receive satisfactory assistance. I have lodged a formal complaint with the National Consumer Complaint Forum under Case ID: [redacted]. I received a new computer as a gift that included two disks, one of which is the ASUS GPU Tweak Speed Setup. However, when I attempt to run the setup, my computer freezes after about thirty to sixty seconds. After each freeze, I must manually hold the power button. Upon restarting, the freezing cycle continues until I reinstall Windows Ten. This freezing occurs regardless of what the computer is doing, even during shutdown. I attempted to create a restore point before installation, but after loading it, the freezing persists even after uninstalling the program. Eventually, the freezing occurs before reaching the manufacturer's logo screen. I have been unable to access Advanced Options and Troubleshooting due to freezing. At present, I have refrained from attempting another install to avoid further freezes and the need to reset Windows Ten.

I've been using the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 for over half a month now, but I've been experiencing a lot of system instability, bugs, apps crashing, and network issues despite having installed every new update. Sometimes, when the Face Unlock feature is on, the phone charges slowly, but when it's turned off, the phone starts rapid charging. The fingerprint unlock is also slow. The battery tends to drain quickly even during light usage. The camera quality also needs improvement. I have reached out to ASUS to address these issues promptly as they are causing inconvenience in using the phone.

I recently purchased the ASUS TUF Gaming FX705GM laptop from "Best Buy" with high hopes due to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX [redacted] graphic card listed on their website. However, upon further inspection, I discovered that the laptop actually comes with Integrated Intel UHD Graphics [redacted] instead. This discrepancy has left me disappointed and skeptical. I plan to visit "Best Buy" today to seek clarification on this issue. Thank you. - Pat N.

My laptop keeps freezing after 10 minutes of use. The troubleshooter indicates that the Asus support device is not functioning properly. I've only had this laptop for 4 months, and this is the third time I'm encountering issues. Initially, the audio was out of sync, resulting in lips moving after speech had stopped. After seeking help, I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver. Then, the laptop wouldn't turn on, but after waiting for an hour and holding the start button down for a minute, it finally powered up. Now, it has frozen again, and I couldn't shut it down. Holding the start button for about a minute helped restart the laptop. This is my second Asus laptop, and unlike my previous positive experience with an Asus laptop (which got stolen), this one has been nothing but trouble. I urgently need assistance with these recurring problems.

After reinstalling Windows 10, I noticed that my laptop speakers and audio jack aren't functioning. I recently cleaned my laptop before the reinstallation but didn't verify the audio output was working. I used a blower and a tissue for cleaning, so it's unlikely the speakers were disconnected physically. Strangely, the audio works fine when connected to my TV via HDMI. In the sound settings under Windows logo/start, I only see Digital Display Audio (AMD High Definition Audio Device) marked with a TV icon. Device Manager lists AMD High Definition Audio Device and Bluetooth Audio Device. The speaker icon on the taskbar shows no speakers or headphones detected. When troubleshooting, it indicates that the audio peripheral is not connected. I appreciate any assistance you can provide to resolve this issue. Thank you.

I'm seeking advice on selecting a motherboard for my upcoming "super-computer" build intended for server use, featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X processor. I require HDMI and Wi-Fi capabilities but am not interested in unnecessary LED lighting for aesthetics. Future liquid cooling support and USB 3.1 Gen2 ports are crucial, along with a full-size ATX form factor such as the B350-F, X370, X470-F, or Strix B450-F. I'm open to additional features like SSD support and a 3D printer riser. However, I'm perplexed by the chipset options and their limitations. As a retired network security professional with a technical background, I'd appreciate speaking with a senior expert to address detailed queries. I'm even considering a conversation about unique hardware setups, like accommodating multiple motherboards without a passive backplane. Please reach out via email or phone to discuss further. Thank you. - S.R.

I accidentally dropped my Zenfone 2 in the toilet yesterday morning. After cleaning it off, it was functioning fine until later that evening. Out of the blue, it switched to a strange interface with a black background and various colored circles for functions like calendar, music, flashlight, quick settings, weather, camera, and time. I couldn't access files or use entertainment apps, making it frustrating. Even after trying to return to the normal interface by turning it off and on, it kept reverting back to the circle interface. Initially, the issue seemed to resolve itself overnight, but it returned the next day and has been happening frequently. It disrupts activities like watching Netflix or Amazon Prime, forcing me to restart the device each time. Additionally, the power button has been unresponsive for a while before this interface problem appeared. I hope both issues can be resolved.

I accidentally dropped my Asus Zenfone 2 in the toilet a few days ago. After cleaning it off, it worked fine. However, many hours later in the evening, it went into an unfamiliar interface. It had a black background with colored circles representing different functions like the calendar, music, flashlight, quick settings, weather, camera, and time. I am unable to access files, so entertainment functions are limited. Even after rebooting, the circle interface keeps showing up, affecting music and video playback. About a month or two ago, the power button started malfunctioning, requiring multiple presses to turn on. I also have an external memory card that is not recognized by the device. I am looking to resolve three main issues: stopping the unwanted circle interface interruptions, fixing the faulty power button, and repairing the device to recognize the external SD card properly.

Hello, I accidentally dropped my Zenfone 2 in the toilet this morning. While I managed to clean it off and it initially worked fine, later that evening, it started displaying a strange interface with a colored circle menu featuring various options but lacked the ability to access files, causing inconvenience. After a few attempts of turning it on and off, the phone briefly showed the normal interface but reverted back to the circle interface. This issue persisted, disrupting activities like watching Netflix or using the camera, prompting frequent restarts. The power button also started malfunctioning a month or two before this. Additionally, I had previously purchased an external memory card that the phone does not recognize. I hope for assistance in resolving these problems to restore the phone's functionality and usability. Thank you.

I recently discovered that a former roommate, who has unfortunately passed away, interchanged the hardware components of my three laptops without my knowledge. As a result, I am struggling to identify which parts belong to each device. My preferred laptop, an Asus, now contains a mix of components from other laptops, creating a confusing situation. I lack the resources to seek professional assistance, and I urgently require my Asus for daily use. To complicate matters further, the operating system has been changed to a Windows OS from Dell, and I do not have the installation disc. My cellphone is not ideal for troubleshooting due to its small screen. I am in a difficult situation and would appreciate any guidance or support that can be offered. I am willing to provide further details over a call. The affected laptop is a K**a model. Thank you for considering my predicament. Regards, L. Rubrecht.
