I own an Astro A50 Xbox One headset that keeps disconnecting from my Xbox every five minutes. I attempted to recalibrate the headset by placing it on the stand and lifting it back up after seeing the white lights stay solid. I also tried unplugging and replugging in the power cord and the cord that uses a laser on both sides. Initially, they worked fine when plugged into my Xbox, but when connected to my PC, I had to frequently disconnect and reconnect them for them to function. Surprisingly, they work better on my PlayStation when turned to PC mode with the voice chat volume up. Now, while attempting to watch a movie on my Xbox for the first time in a while, they continue to disconnect. Previously, they weren't even connecting to my Xbox, and I usually encounter issues with Xbox party chat using these headsets. If anyone could provide me with a link to some new drivers to install or offer a working pair, I would appreciate it because these headsets have been problematic on and off since day one.

Hello everyone,
I am a proud supporter of Astro products and have been using them with my brother since around [redacted]. Recently, I purchased the brand new TR Ready A40 Blue and Red limited edition headset in late April. Unfortunately, I have noticed that the paint is peeling off and transferring onto my clothes. Additionally, the microphone is cutting in and out frequently. A friend who bought the same headset also experienced the paint issue. My order number is [redacted]. I would appreciate any assistance to resolve these problems as I truly believe in the quality of Astro products. Thank you in advance for your help.

In August [redacted], I purchased the Astro A50 Wireless + Base Station for the Xbox One from Best Buy. Last night, my husband encountered an issue with his microphone not working during party chats on his Xbox One. Despite hours of troubleshooting and researching, we have been unable to resolve the problem. The headset is not connecting to either the Xbox One or our Macbook through the Astro Command Center, indicating a potential issue with the base station. We are seeking assistance to address this matter promptly as we are unsure of the next steps and feeling drained from the search for a solution.

I attempted to buy the A50s, and initially, my order went through but was later declined via email the next day. Despite multiple attempts over several days using different methods, the website consistently shows "authorization payment failed." I confirmed with my bank that there are no issues with my payment. Even trying with Paypal yielded the same result. I exhausted various options like different browsers, devices, using or not using my promo code, guest checkout, and logging in, encountering the same error each time.
Contacting customer service twice proved unhelpful, as they stated it's an Astro Gaming issue. They couldn't assist, acknowledging they faced the same problem and recommended purchasing elsewhere. However, my promo code is exclusive to the Astro Gaming site. It's frustrating that I face such obstacles when trying to buy your product. I kindly request that customer service resolve this by placing my order on my behalf. It would be appreciated if a representative could assist me in completing the purchase over the phone or if the issue causing the payment failure is fixed promptly.

Today is Christmas, but my joy was dampened when I received a pair of a10s from astro.com and discovered they were faulty straight out of the box. The right ear has no audio, with only faint sound coming from the left. This is disappointing as they should have worked perfectly from the start. I've ruled out issues with the cord or the devices I'm connecting them to, as other headphones work fine with my PC and PS4. I'm at a loss and unsure what steps to take next.

I purchased my Gen 4 Astro A50's in late August and have thoroughly enjoyed using them. However, last night they stopped working and when I placed them on the base station, the red light kept flashing as if they were still low on battery. Even though the headset showed an orange light, they were still dead this morning. After placing them back on the base, they started to charge, initially showing 3/4 bars with the 4th bar flashing. However, once I took them off to use, they quickly dropped to 1 bar and died within 30 minutes. Now, the headset struggles to hold a charge, displaying either 1 solid white bar or 1 solid red bar on the base. Despite attempting to hard reset them and using different charging cables, the issue persists. I'm hoping to have my headset repaired or replaced as I cherish these headphones and had expected them to last longer given how well I've cared for them.

When I place my Astro A50 headphones on the base station, they don't charge as expected. The light that should turn orange to indicate charging stays white, and I've tried various methods to troubleshoot. I attempted a hard reset, which briefly worked but the issue reoccurred. Even using a micro USB to check the battery didn't solve the problem. Currently, the headphones remain at 6% battery and are not charging properly despite my efforts.

I've had my Astro A20 Headset for only three months, using it infrequently for talking and music. Despite the lights on the USB and headset working, I'm unable to talk to my friends on PlayStation 4. I tested the mic by breathing into it and hearing wind sounds in my ears, indicating it works, but I can't communicate with others. I checked my PlayStation settings, ruling them out as the problem. I haven't updated the headset since buying it for $[redacted] at Walmart. When attempting to update using the Control Center on my PC, it only shows "PC Mode" with no further instructions. Unsure if I paired it correctly, I need detailed guidance on updating the headset through the Control Center. I'm not tech-savvy, so a step-by-step walkthrough from downloading the app to updating it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone,
I've had my Astro A20 Headset for just 3 months. It has only been used a handful of times for talking and listening to music. While I can hear clearly and the USB and headset lights are working, I'm unable to talk to my friends on PlayStation 4. Even though the mic picks up sound when I breathe into it, it doesn't transmit my voice during chats. I've ruled out PlayStation settings as the culprit and suspect the issue could be due to lack of updating the headset since purchasing it from Walmart.
Attempting to update the headset through the Control Center app on my PC has been challenging. The app only shows "PC Mode" with limited information on updates. I need detailed guidance on how to navigate the updating process step by step. If updating is the solution, please provide a thorough walkthrough as I'm not tech-savvy. Your assistance with troubleshooting the control center matter will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

I submitted a request on Astro's platform but wanted to share my experience here. I purchased a pair of Astro A10 headphones but encountered an issue with them not working. The plastic protective covers are still on both the microphone and headset. These were my first A10 headphones, and considering the positive reviews, I assumed it was just bad luck. When I tried to return them to Walmart, they removed the blue cloth and stated they couldn't process the return because the serial number didn't match the box. I explained this to them. Subsequently, I bought another pair of A10 headphones that function properly, expecting a refund for the faulty pair. The lack of explanation from Walmart on why they couldn't accept the return left me puzzled. The faulty headset was only out of the box for 5 minutes before being repackaged, but they still wouldn't refund me. I need a refund as I now have two headsets, one defective and one functional, with non-matching serial numbers.

I purchased a pair of A50s (Gen 4) for Xbox approximately three months ago. Today, when I attempted to use the headphones with my Xbox One, I encountered issues. Despite the power light being on, it wouldn't turn off when I toggled the power switch. Although my Xbox indicated that the headset was connected and assigned to my account, I couldn't hear any sound. Pressing the EQ and game/voice buttons, as well as adjusting the volume scroll, didn't produce any sound either. Following online suggestions, including from Astro Gaming's Twitter account, I attempted to reset the headset both docked and undocked, but the sound issue persisted. The power button now fails to turn on, and when placed on the base, the four lights on the base kept alternating. I tried to pair the headset by following the instructions but couldn't get past the alternating lights. Despite my efforts, including a reset while docked, the problem remains unresolved. If there are additional troubleshooting steps I can take, I would appreciate any guidance before considering returning the product to the store for further assistance.

I purchased the “ASTRO Gaming A50 Wireless Gaming Headset + Charging Base Station, Gen 4, Dolby ATMOS, Game/Voice Balance Control, 2.4 GHz Wireless, 9 m range for Xbox” on Amazon more than two years ago. However, it has developed a problem where the top band doesn't stay clipped in, causing discomfort on the top of my head. Amazon informed me that due to the purchase being over 2 years old, they couldn't provide a replacement and directed me to contact you for assistance. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

I have a recurring issue with my Astro A50 headset, and I suspect it may be related to the firmware. Several problems have surfaced with the device: when attempting to charge it using USB, the headset becomes unresponsive, failing to charge or display the correct lights. The base station also shows inconsistent light indicators which result in premature battery depletion. Despite successfully resolving similar battery-related challenges in the past, the problem persists even after updating the firmware from the Microsoft Store. Resetting the headset did not remedy the situation this time. Additionally, a new concern has emerged where the headset takes excessively long to charge and fails to reach full capacity. Many users are experiencing similar difficulties, including rapid battery drain and prolonged charging times. Though tempted to purchase a new device, I am hesitant due to the high cost and fear of experiencing the same issues.

I'm having trouble updating my son's A50 Headphones; the serial number is 2045HV374758. Today is his birthday, and I received an email with the firmware link. However, I can't find the settings in the ACC to update the firmware manually. I've been trying to resolve this for three days now without success. The lack of customer support for such pricey headphones is disappointing. I would appreciate assistance in getting this matter resolved promptly. Thank you in advance.

Hello, I am experiencing issues with my Astro A50 headphones. Lately, they are not charging properly. When I attempt to charge them, the power button does not show the orange light indicating charging; instead, it displays a white light as if they are turned on (even though they are off when charging). Additionally, the battery indicator squares do not show up when charging. Sometimes a red square shows, suggesting low battery, or a white square, indicating slightly more battery, but not significantly charged. This problem is new to me after almost a year of trouble-free use. I appreciate any help in resolving this matter. Thank you.

Hello dear Astro Team,
I have been experiencing extreme issues with my ASTRO Gaming A50 headset lately. I purchased this headset from Amazon 6 months ago. The problem started about 1/2 months ago - software updates do not work properly, they either fail to start or do not complete. Additionally, the station indicates that my headset is empty even though it was fully charged for 1 hour or connected to the station with a cable. After several PC restarts or software reinstalls, it no longer shows the empty message. I have tried everything I could think of, including resetting the PC entirely in the last 2 months. I have already contacted Amazon support, who directed me to reach out to you.
Best regards,
Kaiser

I placed an order for a Christmas gift on December 5th, and was informed it would be shipped within 7 days. However, the shipment took 14 days and it is now headed to an address I no longer reside at. I contacted FedEx to cancel the delivery as no one would be available to receive it. I request a full refund once it returns to you. I wanted to update you on this issue so that when the item is back in your possession, I can get my payment back since I won't have the gift in time for Christmas. Order number: [redacted][redacted].

Dear Sir or Madam,
Unfortunately, the left hinge of my Astro A40 TR headset is no longer connected to the spring, causing the spring to repeatedly slip out and detach my left ear cup from the hinge. I would like to avail of the warranty and the replacement option that was confirmed to me on Amazon. Could you please advise me on what information you need or what the next steps are? I am happy to email you a copy of my receipt.
Best regards,
Denis

Hello, I purchased my Astro A50 headphones on Amazon 2 years ago. The product worked flawlessly for about a year. However, for the past 2 months, I have been facing issues with the battery not charging properly. Despite trying different USB cables, performing a hard reset on the headset, and following various online troubleshooting steps, the problem persists. Recently, although the battery indicator on the headset shows full charge, it quickly dies after a few minutes of use. When connected to my PC, the battery level remains at 79% and doesn't change. This issue is disrupting my gaming sessions on my PlayStation 5. I notice that after the headset shuts down, the battery indicator flashes red briefly before returning to 79% when placed on the Base Station. I urgently need assistance to resolve this as it's impacting my gaming experience.

Over the weekend, I contacted technical support regarding my A50 headset not charging. After going through troubleshooting steps with the personnel, they concluded the headset was defective. They stated a new one would be sent to me and that I'd receive an email with the call details and replacement order information. However, I haven't received any communication about the call or the replacement order yet.
