I own an Astro A50 3rd generation headset with a base for PS4. Today, I accidentally docked my headset without turning it off first. Initially, the audio started coming out of the TV due to a full battery, but I didn't pay much attention to it. After turning off the PS4 and turning it back on a few hours later, I noticed that the amber light on my headset wouldn't turn on, making it seem dead. When docked, only the red light flashes, refusing to sync or charge. Removing the headset turns the red light solid. I attempted a hard reset both on and off the dock, as well as reinstalling the firmware through a computer, but the issue remains. Any assistance with this problem would be greatly appreciated as I cherish my headset and wish to resolve this. Thank you.

I purchased these headphones just 23 days ago. A few days back, during a call, the microphone suddenly stopped working. I checked all connections between the headphone jack, my computer, the center console, and the headset itself, but found no issues. I made sure the microphone was securely attached as well. After waiting, restarting my PC, and attempting to troubleshoot using ASTRO A40's TR hardware, the problem persisted. I tinkered with audio gateway files, adjusting sensitivity and refreshing hardware, but could not resolve the headset microphone issue. In summary, my microphone is not working, but the sound still functions, indicating a possible hardware problem that may require a replacement cord or microphone. No physical damage has occurred.

My C40 has a similar issue to the past PS4 controllers - its battery life is so poor that you almost need 2 controllers. No one wants to spend $[redacted] on that. I wonder why they didn't use a better battery. Other than the extra buttons, it doesn't seem to use much power besides maybe on-the-fly programming? (Which I still don't understand.) In conclusion, I am very disappointed with this controller. I think it's worth $[redacted] at most.

I've been experiencing an ongoing issue for a few weeks now with my PS4 and Astro A40 + Mixamp. Whenever I turn on my PS4 and use the headset, I notice the audio fading in and out for about 10 minutes. It's quite bothersome. My setup involves keeping the micro USB plugged into the PS4 along with the Dolby bitstream cord. I unplug the mix amp from the micro USB after each use to prevent the lights from glowing at night. This routine has been consistent, and I'm puzzled as to why this audio issue keeps happening. I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this audio fadeout problem promptly.

I'm experiencing three issues with my Astro A50 Gen 1 headset. Firstly, the volume slider is erratic, causing volume fluctuations when adjusting. Secondly, the headset occasionally gets stuck turned on, making it impossible to power off or adjust settings. Lastly, I'm struggling to enable the surround sound functionality through the optical digital connection from my Insignia Fire TV to the Astro A50 Gen 1 mix amp while using a PS4 Slim. I have tried various configurations without success. This is my second pair of the same headset, and I'm hoping to find solutions. If possible, I prefer to troubleshoot with a tech expert over the phone. Thank you for your assistance.

Good afternoon,
My son received an Astro A10 headset for his birthday, and he loves it. Unfortunately, the microphone is not working properly as it keeps cutting in and out. I tried to exchange it at Game Stop without success. They do not sell just the wire, and since the headset is only 6 weeks old, they suggested I contact you about warranty coverage or purchasing a replacement wire.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Dear Astro,
I truly admire your work in tech, which aligns with my passion for gaming. However, I am reaching out on behalf of my best friend who is battling cancer in his left ear. The doctors have shared that his time may be limited, which is heartbreaking for all of us. He is like a brother to me. I wanted to seek your help because his birthday is approaching on September 24th. He dreams of being a vlogger like Casey Neistat but lacks the essential equipment. I wish to give him a meaningful surprise, but financially, I am unable to provide the support he needs. I kindly ask if you could assist in any way to make his dream come true. Your consideration and support would mean the world to us.
Sincerely,
Constantinos B.

I purchased the Astro A50 Generation 4 headset about a month ago, and it worked perfectly until yesterday. However, now when I try to turn on the headset, there is no sound and the base station is out of sync with it. When I place the headset on the base station, the squares keep moving back and forth without charging the headphones properly. Additionally, when I remove the headset, only two squares appear in an unusual order. Despite trying various troubleshooting steps like a hard reset and checking all cords, the problem persists. I'm willing to send a video to demonstrate the issue. Please respond promptly. Thank you.

I recently reached out to Astro Gaming with the following concerns:
"I am currently based in Israel, but I noticed that Israel is not available in the country dropdown list on your website.
After previously contacting you about a faulty headset, I was grateful that you promptly sent a replacement once I provided proof. I had mentioned that the headset is crucial for my work, and you kindly expedited the shipping with UPS to minimize my financial losses.
Upon receiving the replacement, I realized it was the incorrect color. I promptly informed you, provided a picture, and followed up multiple times via email, Facebook, and Instagram with no response. Each day without the correct headset is costing me money, and I am becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of communication on this matter.
I urge you to reach out to me as soon as possible to resolve this issue caused by the mistake in the replacement headset's color."

Please assist me. I encountered issues with A50 stars on their official website, causing distress. Initially, I made a purchase that appeared successful, but later received an email stating the purchase was canceled without explanation. Subsequently, I made additional purchases assuming the products were unavailable. However, I have not been refunded for the initial payment and have not received a confirmation email for the subsequent purchases. This has left me worried, as almost $[redacted] is involved. Furthermore, my attempts to contact A50 stars have been unsuccessful, adding to my apprehension of being scammed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After accidentally spilling water near my Astro A20 gaming headset, it no longer connects to my PC or Xbox. Even though it remains on the red button, I can still adjust the volume and hear controls while charging. Despite attempting a hard reset, the headset refuses to pair with the Xbox. The green button continues flashing indefinitely, and all my efforts have been unsuccessful. Do you have any suggestions for resolving this unusual issue? Any additional troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated.

I recently purchased an Astro C40 controller and wanted to express my admiration for it. The paddles, back grips, shape, and triggers are exceptional, making it the best controller I've used. The only downside is the thumbstick grip being extremely slippery. I'm suggesting that Astro produces thumbsticks with more grip for C40 customers to purchase, similar in shape to the current ones but with enhanced grip. This small enhancement would make the controller unbeatable.

I have purchased all four generations of the A40 from your company hoping for improvements each time, but unfortunately, I keep encountering the same issues. I face problems like being muted without the ability to unmute, audio cutting out during parties, game audio disruptions, and even total loss of sound. Despite trying various solutions found online, the headset still fails me. I have spent a considerable amount totaling $[redacted] on these products, hoping for better performance each time. It is frustrating that all of them seem to be defective. I am disappointed in the lack of longevity of the headset, lasting barely a year. Additionally, I wish there was a 24/7 call center available for immediate assistance.

I am experiencing an issue where my computer does not seem to be recognizing that my microphone is plugged in. I recently bought the A40 TR headset and mod kit, and I am currently using it with a laptop. While the audio works fine, others have complained that my microphone sounds off. I find this odd as I previously used A40's without any problems. Upon checking, it appears that the microphone does not show up in my recording devices tab. I have not purchased the mix amp for the headset, but I thought it wasn't necessary for basic microphone use. I can provide more details if necessary, but wanted to see if I might be missing an obvious solution. Thank you and have a great day!

My MixAmp M80 for my Astro A40 headphones is malfunctioning, and after troubleshooting extensively to rule out issues with my Xbox or controller, I'm certain it's a problem with the MixAmp. I've had these Astro A40s for over two years with an extended warranty, but the customer service representative is insisting on proof of purchase, which I unfortunately don't have since it's been so long. In a previous case, they were able to verify me as the original owner without a receipt, issuing a replacement part under case number #[redacted], which they seem unwilling to acknowledge now. I simply want the replacement MixAmp M80 that I'm entitled to without being accused of dishonesty regarding my ownership of the headset.

I am inquiring if your company has any plans to improve the c40 joysticks. I have had the controller for less than six months and have already purchased four replacement joysticks. I find this situation unacceptable. I have made numerous adjustments in the settings through the software program, but the joystick issues persist. While I appreciate other aspects of the controller, the joystick problem is concerning. There are many complaints on YouTube about the degradation of the joysticks, leading me to wonder if this was intentional. I urge your company to address this factory defect permanently and provide customers with joysticks that are more durable. My old ps4 DualShock controller from five years ago still functions perfectly, highlighting the stark contrast in quality. I am keen to discuss this matter further with one of your representatives.

Hello everyone,
I purchased the Astro A50 Gen4 headset six months ago, but I am quite dissatisfied with it. The microphone keeps moving out of place and doesn't stay where I set it. Whenever I turn on my console, I need to unplug and plug back in the USB charging station multiple times to get sound to the headset. Additionally, it frequently disconnects from party sessions, resulting in lost sound where I cannot hear my party members (although they can hear me). I have to constantly restart and repeat this setup, which is frustrating and time-consuming. The headset even powers off during game sessions. Despite hoping for an update to fix these issues, none have addressed the problems. Considering the high cost of this product, I did not anticipate facing these difficulties. I am seeking a resolution to these issues or a refund for the product.
Thank you,
M. Franek

Hello, I'm Marc Bernon. I purchased an Astro A50 from my EB store on 13/07/[redacted]. A year later, I returned it due to a faulty dock that didn't charge the A50. It was exchanged for a new pair on 14/06/[redacted]. Now, I'm experiencing issues with the replacement unit - it cuts out, the dock lights flash, and there is no sound for a few seconds before the lights stabilize and the sound returns. This happens randomly, around 8 to 10 times an hour or once every few hours. I attempted to return them to EB Games, but they can only honor the warranty on the first set. The second set is not even 2 years old yet. They advised me to get an email from Astro to authorize the exchange. Despite troubleshooting by resetting the headset and adjusting my modem settings, the problem persists. Considering the $[redacted] cost and minimal weekly usage, I believe these headphones should last longer than 2 years, especially since they have not been dropped or damaged.

I recently switched from a PlayStation 4 Slim to an Xbox One S due to some system software issues with my PS4. I had a set of Astro A50 PS4 edition headphones in black and blue that came with a base station. After contacting Astro Gaming, I was informed that my PS4 headset could work with a new Xbox One base station. I purchased the base station, but unfortunately, the headset does not fit in the base station for me to update it on my PC. This renders the new base station useless. I am hoping for assistance as I just want to enjoy surround sound while gaming or watching movies. It's frustrating because the headset was a significant investment, and I don't want the money I spent to go to waste.
