Hello, I've been assigned by my boss to reserve a room at Go Hotel North Edsa through Agoda. However, I mistakenly chose the Go Hotel 'CUBAO' branch. Consequently, I canceled the booking. I am concerned about whether the payment has already been processed on the credit card provided. Refunding a large amount from my personal funds due to this mistake would be difficult as the booking was for a company business activity. I used a credit card for a booking, but received an email saying the transaction didn't go through. I tried updating the card details through the provided link, but even my debit card didn't work. I went ahead and made a new booking on Agoda with the same merchant, Zen Rooms, and canceled the previous booking due to the card issue. My worry is that I might still be charged for the cancellation of the initial booking even though I attempted to update my card details. I would like to receive an email confirming that I won't be charged for the cancellation of the previous booking.

We made reservations through Agoda for 3 rooms from October 25 to October 30 on the remote island of Havelock. Upon arrival, the hotel claimed no knowledge of our booking and refused to provide rooms. Due to poor phone reception, contacting customer service was impossible. An email from the hotel confirms they are not affiliated with Agoda. Agoda charged $[redacted] on October 21, and despite not receiving the rooms we paid for, I have been unsuccessful in obtaining a refund or reaching customer service. Consequently, we had to secure more costly alternative accommodation. I reside in Bangalore, India.

On October 31st, I made a booking for travels in Thailand. I purchased a one-way plane ticket from Cebu to Clark, Philippines, along with a hotel booking and another one-way ticket from Clark to Cebu for December 16th at 6 a.m. After receiving a notification from AGODA that the December 16th booking did not process, I made a reservation through a different website. Later, I unexpectedly received a confirmation email from AGODA for the original booking. I am now seeking to cancel this duplicate booking as I already secured my flight. The ticket number is [redacted][redacted], costing 1,[redacted].43 Thai baht. The AGODA booking number is [redacted]81. Despite contacting AGODA via Facebook and attempting to reach their Thailand phone number without success, I remain frustrated with this situation. I have evidence of the initial email from AGODA indicating the flight was not booked and no charges were made before the unexpected confirmation.

Yesterday, I made a reservation at the California Hotel Deira through Agoda. Despite payment being made, upon arrival, the hotel had no record of my booking and no response from Agoda's customer care after waiting for an hour. Eventually, I booked another hotel through Oyo due to the inconvenience. The lack of confirmation and the time wasted in the hotel lobby caused frustration. I recently made a reservation at Riley’s Crystalbrook Hotel in Cairns but mistakenly booked it for the wrong date. I intended to book for the 12th of November, not the 13th. I tried to amend the booking online but was unsuccessful. Hello, I am a traveler from Sydney and encountered an issue during my trip to Europe from September 28 to October 18. Subject: Issue with Agoda Booking NO [redacted]29 On July 30, [redacted], I made a reservation on Agoda's website for a two-night stay at Anugraha Boutique Hotel on October 4th and 5th, [redacted]. This was meant to be a special birthday celebration for my wife. Upon arrival during heavy rain on a motorcycle, we were directed to Pulai Spring Resort for check-in. To our surprise, Anugraha Hotel was closed, unknown to us or Agoda. After a lengthy wait and failed attempts to contact Agoda for assistance, we were offered a new booking nearby or a free cancellation as a "favor" with no apology. The blame seemed unjustly placed on us. The entire experience left us disappointed and questioning Agoda's reliability. Questions remain: 1) How did Agoda advertise a closed hotel? 2) What is the purpose of an international helpline if no one answers? 3) Shouldn't Agoda offer compensation for disrupting our plans? After this disappointing incident, I am hesitant to use Agoda again compared to other online booking platforms. Thank you.

Hello, I recently made an online booking with Agoda for "Spot on [redacted] New Shiv Shakti" on the 26th and 27th of October [redacted] with Reservation Number: [redacted]49. Upon arrival, the manager asked me to cancel the booking and pay in cash, which I couldn't do since I had no internet access. The manager then contacted someone from OYO who said I would receive a refund, but I have not received it yet. Additionally, I had another issue with Reservation Number: [redacted]65 at Sharma Guest House. Despite booking and paying online, the Guest House seemed non-existent. I am disappointed with my experience at the Subic Bay Yacht Club. The facility is old, dirty, and under construction, making it unsafe for my family, including several elderly members and a toddler. The front desk staff lacks knowledge about the area and suggested I find directions online. This unacceptable response has led me to request to cut my trip short. I am greatly dissatisfied with Agoda for promoting this resort. I am hoping for a resolution to this unfortunate situation.

Dear Mr. Leiserowitz, I was a guest at Red Rock hotel this past weekend with reservations for Saturday to Monday. Upon my arrival on Saturday at 3pm, I tipped the bellman, valet, and front desk assistant in appreciation of their services after my long drive. After settling in and going to the lobby to retrieve my car, I experienced an issue with the valet service. I was given both valet tickets, causing confusion and a delay in retrieving my car as my keys had been misplaced. This resulted in a significant inconvenience for me. To compound the situation, some valet workers were unprofessional in their behavior towards me. This treatment does not align with the standard of customer service one would expect from Red Rock hotel. I raised my concerns with Eric, the supervisor on duty, and requested a refund. However, I did not receive any documentation for the refund and have not seen it reflected in my bank account. I hope you can provide clarification on the status of my refund. This company is fake and fraudulent. Please avoid booking with them. I had a terrible experience where I paid in advance but the hotel did not honor my booking. They claimed they had no confirmation from Agoda. The service was rude, and I demand a refund. Agoda needs to resolve this. There is no customer service available. It feels like a waste of money and time. Do not use Agoda; they only care about taking your money and not about helping you. I reached the hotel with all my booking documents but was told they had no record from Agoda and accused them of being a fraudulent company. Despite showing all confirmation emails, the hotel staff refused to accommodate me. It was a distressing experience. I need my money back or will take legal action. Desperate for a resolution. - D.M. I booked a hotel in Ajman at OYO [redacted] Al Rayan and traveled from Dubai to find out upon arrival that the hotel did not have a contract with OYO. This mistake was not mine as a guest. OYO failed to assist me with finding an alternative. They assured me a refund for Booking ID [redacted]39 for the total amount of [redacted]. I am seeking an update on the refund status. Subsequently, I booked another hotel, Mariana Hotel, as I had to return to Dubai due to being unable to find another hotel in Ajman. Booking ID [redacted]43. However, upon calling the hotel, they informed me that there was no booking made. I had to return to my friend's place, only to discover another deduction from my account. This is unacceptable. I am demanding a full refund for both bookings. If the refund is not processed within the next three days, I will take this matter to various social media platforms.

Booking ID# [redacted]68 I am extremely disappointed with Agoda after my recent experience. I made a reservation for the Raj Inn - Spot on [redacted] hotel in Kerala for my family. I paid in full at the time of booking. Upon arrival at the Raj Inn location, I was shocked to find it situated in the middle of a highway. Accidentally, I contacted Oyo who provided me with the Raj Inn's contact number. However, the hotel staff claimed they had no affiliation with Oyo. After speaking with an Oyo customer care manager, I was informed that Agoda would be responsible for issuing a refund. The lack of communication between Oyo and Agoda has left me puzzled and frustrated.

Hello, I made a reservation for two rooms on November 8 at the Yoy hotel in Sharjah. I will share my booking details in an attached picture. Upon arrival, I was assigned two rooms on different floors, which was inconvenient as my elderly mother cannot sleep alone. The receptionist was incredibly impolite during this process. I am a loyal customer who usually books through Agoda and recommends it to friends. If my concerns are not addressed, I will no longer use your services. The hotel rooms were unclean, lacked Wi-Fi, and the parking access road was too narrow. The unpleasant reception experience left me feeling anxious and deprived of sleep.
