I made a reservation through Agoda for a 2-night stay at Shah Beach Resort, Melaka on 7th September [redacted] at 12:45 AM. The transaction went through, and RM [redacted].64 was deducted from my bank account by i-payment FPXPAY MOLPAY (ref no: [redacted]2). However, upon reaching the hotel for check-in, I was informed that my booking was canceled. The booking number is [redacted]61 under my name NUR IZZATI BINTI OMAR.
I tried contacting customer service but couldn't get the required assistance. Hence, I am reaching out via email.
I am seeking a full refund for the amount deducted from my bank account. Looking forward to a prompt and positive response.

I had a reservation at a Morningside inn in New York from September 7th to September 8th, with a note that I would arrive at 1 am on the 8th. However, upon arrival, my room was sold out even though my credit card was already charged three days before. We were given a room in a different hotel that cost us $[redacted], twice the amount. We had to take a taxi to reach the hotel, by then it was already 2 am. I am very disappointed with the service provided. We were assured that we would receive a full refund for both bookings at the Morningside inn and Days inn. I request a prompt refund of $[redacted] for the inconveniences caused. Subject: Change in Check-in Date Request due to Flight Delay

I am reaching out regarding a booking adjustment needed for my Director. Despite repeated attempts, we are facing difficulties changing the check-in date with Agoda. The original check-in was set for the 10th of September at Natura Hotel in Johor Bahru. The trip was planned for my Director, his daughter, and wife to visit Lego Land.
However, a recent typhoon in Japan on the 3rd of September resulted in the closure of Kansai Airport. This led to a reroute back to Kuala Lumpur via Tokyo, where they are still awaiting confirmation of their seats. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, we kindly request to change the booking to the 15th of September.

I am writing about my recent experience with booking number [redacted]13 at the Golden Crown Grand Hotel. Upon my arrival on September 8th around 10 pm, I was surprised to learn that my credit card provided for payment could not be charged as the hotel claimed there was an issue with the transaction. Despite receiving an email confirmation from Agoda on July 25th, confirming my booking and stating that payment would be collected by the property, my reservation was unexpectedly canceled by the hotel.
After being informed that all rooms were fully booked, the hotel staff arranged for me to stay at the Hansa JB Hotel at an increased cost for the night of September 8th. I believe this situation was unfair as I had notified both Agoda and the hotel in advance about my late arrival due to travel delays. I did not receive any communication regarding the payment issue or the cancellation beforehand, which left me frustrated and inconvenienced during my trip.
I kindly request a refund for the one night's charge of RM167.77 as I had no knowledge of the payment problem leading to the cancellation of my reservation. I trust that Agoda will investigate this matter and provide a resolution promptly.

I modified my reservation from 10 days to 7 days with ease using the online system, which processed quickly. Although the dates were adjusted promptly, the price remains unchanged. Kindly provide the updated 7-day rate for our stay: arrival on Oct 5th and departure on Oct 12th.
I have reached out through your online services multiple times without any response, which is frustrating. Our upcoming trip is approaching, and without a resolution, we may consider altering our accommodation or seeking an alternative hotel.

I wanted to bring to your attention the issues I encountered with my recent booking number [redacted]13 at Golden Crown Grand Hotel. I am seeking a refund for booking reference number [redacted]59 due to unfortunate circumstances faced during my stay in Japan. Firstly, we encountered a typhoon in Osaka which led to our flights being canceled twice from Sapporo to Osaka, causing us to miss the check-in at the hotel in Kyoto. Despite notifying them of the flight cancellations and requesting to cancel the first two nights with the assurance to keep the last three, the hotel did not respond promptly. Subsequently, a major earthquake in Sapporo extended our stay there, resulting in just one night instead of the planned five in Kyoto. The stressful situations left us without accommodation in Sapporo. Therefore, I kindly request a refund for four nights as we were unable to utilize the booking as intended.

Hello, I recently made a reservation via Agoda for a room at The Nai Harn in Phuket. After noticing a lower rate in an email from Agoda, I swiftly booked a room. However, upon receiving a notification from the bank, I discovered that I was charged $[redacted] instead of the expected $[redacted]. I decided to cancel the booking but did not receive a refund. The hotel informed me that I must resolve this matter with Agoda directly.

However, I have no record of this booking in my Agoda account and did not make this reservation. I am seeking clarification on this charge. I booked a room on Agoda yesterday (#[redacted]74) for Kuad Khon Thoe Pai Cottage in Pai, Thailand, listed at $33 per night. However, my confirmation shows a charge of $53 per night. The website indicates it is non-refundable, but I am not responsible for this mistake. The current rate displayed on Agoda is still $33 per night for this property. I believe the cottage is only worth $33, not $53 per night. I would appreciate it if Agoda could correct this overcharge issue promptly.

I made a hotel reservation through Agoda for Kuad Khon Thoe Pai Cottage in Pai, Thailand at the rate of $33 per night, but upon receiving my booking confirmation, I noticed I was charged $53 per night instead. My Booking ID is [redacted]74, and my booking dates are from January 28 to 31, [redacted]. I have evidence in the form of screenshots showing the initial price of $33 per night when I made my reservation. Despite Agoda stating that the booking is non-refundable, I am certain that this price difference is not due to any mistake on my part.
After further research, I found the same room listed on Agoda's site for $43 per night and on Expedia for $34 per night. I will also be capturing screenshots of the Expedia listing. I made a booking this morning but haven't received any confirmation email yet. I called my bank and they didn't see the transaction. So, I made a second booking and headed on a long drive. I've been trying to cancel one booking with Agoda at 03 [redacted]9 but couldn't get through and am still attempting. I've already checked in for tonight and would like to change one booking to tomorrow instead. My booking IDs are [redacted]21 & [redacted]05, both for check-in on Sep 11 under the name L.S. Chen. I had issues with reservation number [redacted]73 for a stay in Florence, Italy. The owner did not show up, and despite waiting for three and a half hours, I had to find alternative accommodation. I tried to contact Agoda on the 7th and 8th, but faced difficulties due to time zones. Miss Yoshikawa mentioned a phone call on September 10 which never happened. Despite sending numerous emails, I received no response from Agoda Japan. The lack of communication from the owner made it even more challenging. The changes in personnel handling my case, like Oinuma, Miyazawa, and Yoshikawa, have been confusing. Miyazawa suggested discussing with gift cards which seemed odd. I hope for a prompt and sincere response from Agoda or one of the individuals mentioned to resolve this matter without further complications.
