On December 14, [redacted], we bought ingredients for our Christmas cookies, spending $53.51, including your milk chocolate morsels. Unfortunately, the recipe provided was inaccurate. It instructed us to cream sugars, butter, eggs, baking soda, salt, and vanilla together, but only the brown sugar measurement was given, and there was no measurement for the vanilla. We tried to adjust on our own, but ended up having to throw out several batches of cookies. The result was not what we expected, and we were disappointed by the outcome and the money wasted.

I choose to shop at Aldi for various reasons including being gluten-free. I prioritize safe meat, poultry, and seafood, such as shrimp, for my family. I noticed that Aldi is on the Safe Heart list in select stores only. However, I find that Aldi's plant-based food options are limited, and some gluten-free products have a short shelf life; I was wondering why that is. As someone on a fixed income, Aldi's prices for produce are more budget-friendly compared to other stores, although gluten-free items tend to be pricier, which is common in many places. I understand if I don't receive a response, but providing safe and affordable options for my family is important to me. Thank you.
Best,
Carole

I visited the store at [redacted] Colesbury Circle in Lexington, KY. While standing near the produce counter, two employees passed by with an overloaded product mover and accidentally damaged my new boots. Despite notifying them, they didn't provide an incident form and advised me to contact customer service. The employees involved were Kimberlee and Tim. However, when I reached out to customer service, they mentioned they couldn't see the incident. I am requesting for someone from Quality Control claims to reach out to me regarding this matter.

Yesterday, I went shopping at the Swinton branch. When I unpacked my groceries, I noticed that the chicken was expired on the 7th, and it was currently the 10th. I immediately returned to the store, informed an employee, and was rudely told that mistakes happen and to just exchange it. The staff member walked away, mentioning they can't monitor all the dates. I have been a loyal Aldi customer for years and never encountered this issue before. Finding expired food on the shelves is concerning, as it could pose a health risk, especially for vulnerable individuals. I am appalled by the lack of care and professionalism displayed by the staff at this store. - Kelly

I have applied to 3 different locations. I know I am overqualified for the positions, yet I am not getting hired. No one is willing to talk to me. With over 30 years of experience in the relevant areas, I have attempted to visit the stores in person, as well as contact your customer service number, which has proven to be unhelpful. It is all very frustrating. Nobody seems capable of providing me with any form of response. I am left wondering why I would even consider working for a company that operates in this manner.

I am attempting to make an online purchase for delivery. However, upon entering my name, email address, and choosing a password, I received an error message stating that the email address has already been used. I only ordered from ALDI once months ago, and I do not remember the password I used back then. Unfortunately, there was no "forgot my password" option provided. How can I gain access to the products and proceed with placing my order? I kindly request ALDI to reach out to me to provide guidance on how I can overcome this issue and successfully place my order. Thank you.

I purchased Aldi's Pure Being dry dog food without realizing the package did not clearly indicate the size of the kibble. Unfortunately, my granddaughter fed it to her dog, resulting in the dog breaking three teeth on the larger kibble. Concerned about making the same mistake, I was puzzled by the lack of clarity between the flavors online and in-store. While I cannot reverse the incident with my granddaughter's dog, I am surprised that the packaging remains unclear, even after a significant period. It's crucial for companies to take responsibility to prevent similar incidents. Amidst the challenges of COVID19, I attempted to purchase the product online but struggled to find relevant information.

I would like to file a complaint about the Instacart delivery service for Aldi. I had a poor experience in Des Moines, Iowa, where my first order was incomplete, and the second one never arrived. I reported the issues twice, but they haven't resolved it yet. I need a refund of $65. We can't afford to be cheated out of groceries on our limited budget. After checking Instacart's reviews, I see many negative comments. I regret using their service. They even gave me the wrong receipt from someone else. Please address this matter promptly. Thank you, Arlene G. Email: [redacted] This situation feels like theft, and it needs to be addressed seriously.

I had a terrible experience with a groceries delivery service called Instantcart. I placed two orders on Sunday, the 3rd. The first order was only half delivered and the second order was never received. Despite reaching out for a refund, I have not received any response. When I asked for a paper receipt for the first order, it was incorrect and didn't match what I had ordered. I was charged $65.00 for groceries that I never received. This situation feels like being scammed and stolen from. Upon researching Instantcart, I found many negative reviews. If I had known about this, I would have never used their service. This has unfairly impacted my view of Aldi, a store I typically love. I am seeking assistance with this issue urgently. I have decided to cancel my membership and would like a refund for the last order, which was a complete disaster. I believe I deserve to be reimbursed for this unpleasant experience.

I ordered numerous items from ALDI through Instacart, and my delivery arrived yesterday afternoon. I was incredibly dissatisfied with my order. Several items were missing, yet they were not marked as unavailable during checkout. Furthermore, one item was smashed upon arrival. This experience was disappointing, especially as a loyal ALDI customer. This was my first time using this service due to the Coronavirus situation, and I am disheartened by the outcome. I was charged for items I did not order and did not receive. I am at a loss for what to do because neither Instacart nor ALDI provides a phone number for customer support. I spent over $[redacted], and I feel it's unfair and unprofessional. If anyone can assist, please reach out to me at [redacted]. - Nepton M.

On April 9, [redacted], I placed an order where I was charged for items I did not receive. The receipt included charges for a L'oven Fresh Cinnamon Raisin Swirl that I did not order as well as Willow Facial Tissue that was not delivered because it was out of stock. The total on the receipt was $[redacted].54, but $[redacted].01 was deducted from my account, resulting in a $5.31 difference. I am unable to visit the store due to health reasons and would like this matter resolved promptly. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you, Richard B. G.

I visited the Aldi store in Sedalia, MO, yesterday. Although it was busy, it was not overcrowded. I got in line a few minutes before 4 pm and noticed the sign instructing customers to wait for an employee to call them to a register. I heard a male voice calling for the next customer and assumed it was the nearest associate who had made eye contact with me. When I tried to unload my cart and was directed to the other lane, the associate there made a snarky comment about the confusion. Despite my apology, he stared at me, making me feel uncomfortable. I ended up moving to the other lane, feeling embarrassed in front of the other customers. There was no clear indication that his lane was closing, which added to the frustration of the situation.

On April 20, [redacted], I submitted an internal complaint to Aldi regarding a recent purchase. I shared my disappointment about the dish I bought for my family, which tasted unusually sweet despite appearing appetizing on the packaging. I refrained from returning the product to the store due to the current Covid situation, but I attached a scanned copy of the receipt to support my claim. Aldi responded with a "no reply" email on 4/21, providing me with case #[redacted]. I am hopeful they will honor their "Aldi Twice as Nice Guarantee" and grant me a refund for the two boxes of this unsatisfactory food. Thank you for your anticipated assistance.

Subject: Urgent Request to Adjust Produce Display Temperature
I am writing to bring to your attention an ongoing issue with the temperature in your produce display, specifically with the spinach. The cooling temperature needs to be adjusted 2° warmer to prevent moisture condensation that is causing spoilage of the spinach on your shelves.
Yesterday, on May 14, I purchased bagged spinach with a May 25 expiration date and noticed immediate signs of spoilage due to the excessively cold display temperature. Proper storage and display temperature ensure spinach remains edible past the expiration date, but currently, the spinach is spoiling prematurely.
I urge you to immediately adjust the cooling temperature by 2° warmer to prevent further spoilage and promote food safety. I have previously raised this concern with Aldi with no resolution, and it is crucial to address this issue promptly to prevent health risks like botulism.
Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Levi G.

I purchased a toaster oven from Aldi a few weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic started. Unfortunately, the product is not meeting my expectations as it does not reach the maximum temperature of [redacted] degrees as advertised. It takes a long time to heat up and cooks unevenly. I attempted to return it for a refund, but due to the virus, I was informed I couldn't return it yet. After reaching out via email, I was advised that I can only return produce, meat, and other items, not the toaster oven. I am very frustrated by this response and intend to escalate the issue to corporate, news stations, and social media to share my negative experience with Aldi. My case number is [redacted], and the model of the product is Ambiano Rotisserie Convection Oven, with the receipt in hand, I am requesting a refund promptly. Why can food be returned but not a faulty appliance? This situation feels like taking advantage of customers during a challenging time when many are struggling financially. I am anticipating a positive resolution soon. - Judy

Hello,
I am writing from Palm Springs, CA. I recently received a mail advertisement that featured a Bird Bath item special from June 3 to June 9. I visited the store yesterday around 3:00 pm hoping to purchase one, as they looked enticing in the ad. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any Bird Baths, and the patio umbrellas mentioned in the ad were of less interest to me.
When I inquired, an employee mentioned they might have sold out earlier in the day. At checkout, I expressed my disappointment in not finding the advertised birdbath. The staff was unsure if more would be restocked. I am now contemplating calling the store to inquire about the availability of the item, as I am eager to provide a nice birdbath for the hummingbirds in my patio.
Would you please advise on what steps I can take? I am curious if the Palm Springs store on Ramon Rd stocked the birdbaths today or will do so in the future. I also noticed another ALDI in Palm Desert nearby. If the Palm Springs store is out of stock, I wonder if the Palm Desert branch carries the Bird Bath item.
Thank you,
J. O'Toole

On Sunday, (6/7/[redacted]), my spouse and I were informed that the Emporia, KS store would have 6 swimming pools available for purchase on 6/10/[redacted]. We arrived an hour before the store opened to secure our place in line, only to find out that there were only 3 pools available. The store had already sold out, with 3 pools reserved for employees. It was frustrating to see a sold-out sign before the store even opened. We feel misled by the discrepancy between what we were told and what was available. We intend to file a complaint against the store for false advertising. It's disappointing to be promised 6 pools and only find 3. We are seeking an apology and a pool to resolve this issue.

I visited Aldi on Chapel Hill Rd in Douglasville, GA [redacted] today, June 10, [redacted], for the sale featuring the Gardenline 30' outdoor fire bowl for $49.99 and the Rangemaster heavy-duty 24' deluxe charcoal grill for $89.99, both starting today. I was the first person at the store, arriving at 8:00 am and waiting for an hour. Disappointed to find out they were already sold out, despite the sale starting today. The cashier explained they were displayed yesterday, not today, as usual. Frustrated, I left as these were intended as Father's Day gifts. I find this practice upsetting and unprofessional, as the sale should have items available on the day it starts.

The employees at the Dundalk, Maryland location were quite unhelpful when I inquired about advertised items. Despite being told items are only put out on Wednesday mornings according to the ad, I visited and found items out on a Sunday or Monday. When questioned about an item, I received the same response of waiting until Wednesday and not having time to check the back for me. Today, on June 10, [redacted], I went to purchase a fire pit from the latest ad and was informed they were already sold out from being put out Monday morning. This inconsistency is frustrating, especially considering the impact on our school's efforts to support homeless families. The way the managers handle these situations could be improved for better customer satisfaction.
