Below are some clips we've found from MSN's phone menus and tips that help give an idea of what you will encounter when you call. We've highlighted why they are important as well:

The first phone menu

"This call may be recorded for quality assurance. We have a special promotion today for select callers.
If you are over fifty, please press one now.
If not, press two.

What are the hours and when should I call?

MSN operates the call center for this 888-319-2445 phone number 24 hours, 7 days. The short answer is that you should call on a Friday. This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 193 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).

Automatically call when they open

When you use our free AI-powered phone to call and talk, wait on hold, or navigate for you, it will automatically wait until the MSN call center opens before trying to call. It will ask your permission before it places the call, so you can also further delay that scheduled call until you are ready. But that means you can "set it and forget it" ahead of time.
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this MSN phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like MSN staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.

The least busy time to call

The least busy day to call MSN is Sunday. The most busy day to call is Monday, which averages 193% more phone calls by comparison. Again, this is based on a sample of 193 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.

But if you use our free call and talk for me or wait on hold for me service, you don't really need to worry about average wait times.

The best time to call MSN

In summation, the best day to call MSN is Friday.

Calling this MSN Customer Number

Dec 11, 2023

Upon calling this number, I was greeted with a jingle and a recording that let me know I had reached MSN, although I wasn't told which department. After choosing between service in English or Spanish, the recording said a promotion was available, but it was only for select callers. It then asked me to answer a couple of questions to see if I was eligible. I actually only had to answer one question — whether or not I was 50 or more years old.

Popular reasons someone might call this number include signing up for MSN's Medical Alert system and learning more about the types of services and devices offered. This is also the number to call if you need help with one of your medical alert devices provided by MSN or troubleshooting an issue with your MSN Medical Alert bill. This is not the number to call if you need help with other MSN services, such as accessing your email account or resolving a problem with another MSN-provided service.

I wasn't notified of any way to reconnect with the same agent if my call was disconnected. I also wasn't presented with a way to leave a message for a representative or request a call back at a later time.

Once I indicated that I was over 50, I was connected with the MSN Medical Alert Center. I was notified that my call would be recorded and possibly monitored for quality assurance purposes. I had no wait time; the representative picked up the call and identified themselves immediately. Their tone was lively and upbeat.

I asked several questions about the types of medical alert services offered by MSN. I also asked about the types of plans offered and the monthly cost of services. The agent spoke clearly and provided simple answers that were easy to understand. They could outline the differences between each alert device and the situations they were ideal for.

The agent was also well-informed about service response times and how medical alert staff could help me in an emergency. The person I spoke to answered my questions quickly, and it didn't seem like they were reading off a script. When I asked about promotions, I was told there were none available.

My experience with this call center was overall excellent. I was served quickly, and the representative I spoke to was knowledgeable and able to handle delicate topics with compassion. I spent only about seven minutes on the call and ended it with a wide breadth of new knowledge about medical alert devices and which one could be right for me.

As a last, sometimes only, resort- MSN customer service can be accessed through their website. This can entail digging through help articles before finding a form and "being allowed" to submit a problem to their team, and rarely leads to a real-time conversation, which is why GetHuman does not recommend this unless it's the only way.
