Take it to the T-Mobile Store

If you have not yet initiated a return online, return the device to the nearest T-Mobile store. Just bring the device, and a T-Mobile staff member will inspect it for any damage.

Use the Store Locator on the T-Mobile website to find a store in your area. To locate a store, simply enter your location or ZIP code and click Search.

Scheduling an appointment in advance is recommended to avoid long wait times at the store. Use the phone number provided to contact the location directly.

Note: If you have already contacted Customer Care and were provided with a return label, you must complete the return by mail using the provided label.

Request a Return Label by Contacting T-Mobile

You can also return your T-Mobile signal booster by mail. To do this, contact T-Mobile Customer Support and request a return label. Use the Consumer Sales phone number, or request a callback if you are a Business customer.

Prepaid return labels are typically sent within 24 hours. After contacting T-Mobile, check your email inbox for the label. If you don’t see it, be sure to check your spam or junk folder as well.

Once you receive the label, print it and attach it to the return package. Don’t forget to include the Return Authorization slip inside the box. After packing the device securely, drop off the package at the nearest UPS store. Remember to return the device within 30 days of initiating the return to avoid additional fees.

If you can't call Customer Service, use the QR code to chat with a T-Mobile staff member who can assist you with the return label. Just scan the code provided in the screenshot and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: Customers may also use T-Mobile–compatible signal boosters from third-party manufacturers, which can help improve signal strength and data speeds. If you purchased one of these devices from a third-party retailer, such as Amazon or an electronics store, please refer to the store’s return policy for instructions on returns or exchanges. Devices purchased from third-party retailers cannot be returned to T-Mobile, as they were not bought directly from T-Mobile.

Conclusion

Is your T-Mobile signal booster malfunctioning, and you need to return it? Before requesting a replacement, contact T-Mobile for troubleshooting first. A technical support representative may be able to resolve the issue if the problem isn't caused by physical damage. If the device has a manufacturing defect, the process is similar. You'll need to contact T-Mobile, report the issue, and request a prepaid return shipping label. T-Mobile will advise you on the replacement process and let you know if any fees may apply. Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for T-Mobile Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
