Cancel the Order in Your Email

Log in to the email associated with your Shutterfly account and look for the order confirmation email from them. Scroll down to the Order Total, and click Cancel Your Order. The link is just below your order total. Follow the on-screen prompts to cancel your Shutterfly order successfully.

Click Cancel Order in Order History

Are you still in the Order Details page? You can cancel the order from there. Look for the Cancel Order tab to start the order cancellation process.

Confirm the Cancellation

To complete the order cancellation process, click Ok and confirm the cancellation.

Check the Order Details Again

Recheck the order details. It will say "Cancelled" if you have successfully cancelled the order. No need to worry about billing, you will not be charged when the order has been successfully cancelled.

Sign in to Your Account

Start the order cancellation process by logging in to your account. Enter your email address and password, and click Sign In. You can also sign in with just a link. Tap on Use Email Instead to get a link from Shutterfly. Use this to log back in to your account.

Go to Order Status

You can find this just below your profile name.

Click View Details

Point your mouse to the order you want to cancel and look for View Details. Click on it to see the status of your Shutterfly order.

Tap Cancel Order

The process is the same. Click on cancel the order and don't forget to confirm the order cancellation. You may recheck the order status to see if the order was indeed cancelled. If you were charged for the order in error, contact Customer Support.

Note: And as mentioned, you can only cancel the order within 30 minutes. You may no longer be able to cancel the order beyond 30 minutes. If there are errors in shipping, the delivery driver may still attempt delivery. If they can't resolve the issue, Shutterfly will arrange to resend the items purchased.

Conclusion

Did you arrange for a pick-up? Note that you can't cancel items scheduled for a pickup. You also can't cancel video plans, prepaid plans, or gift certificates. You may be able to request a refund for some of the items purchased. However, please note that refunds are available only when you request them within 60 days of purchase.
