When the PayPal account is limited, the user may not be able to send, receive, or withdraw money. You can only use PayPal services again by removing the limitation. To remove the limitation, check the Notifications page. The notification icon is the Bell sign beside Settings on your Homepage.
PayPal will also provide you with more details on how to remove this limitation, which may include submitting bank statements. Just review the limitations along with their suggested resolution to ensure you can send and withdraw money from PayPal.
You can prevent failed PayPal transactions and avoid paying other fees by ensuring you enter the correct bank details. To check the bank details, sign in to your PayPal account and go to Banks and Cards. You can find this on your Homepage; just click the three dots beside Banks and Cards to see the list of accounts linked with your PayPal. You should be able to review and edit the cards or bank accounts from this page.
Check the expiration date and other details, and click Update Card if you wish to update your bank account. If you have a new bank account, just click remove and proceed to the next step.
Type in the bank name, bank code, and bank account number. Review everything before clicking Link Your Bank.
Do you often use Instant transfers when withdrawing your PayPal funds? Consider switching to Standard transfers to see if it goes through. You will have the option to select Instant and Standard when you click Transfer Funds from the Homepage.
Before transferring funds, make sure your bank account is able to receive electronic fund transfers. If it cannot, the funds may be returned to your PayPal account. Please note that fees may apply in such cases.
Are you a new PayPal user? Verify your account first, as unverified accounts may not be able to transfer funds. You may also try removing your linked bank account and adding it again, as this can sometimes resolve transfer issues. If the problem is due to an account limitation, visit the Resolution Center or review your Notifications to address any required actions. Keep in mind that PayPal may also temporarily flag the transfer if it appears unusual or potentially suspicious. Still experiencing issues with bank transfers after resolving any limitations or verifying bank details? Contact PayPal Support for further assistance.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
