You can reach HSBC online services to set up a new payee online by setting up automatic payments through an existing HSBC bill payment account.

Setting up a new payee for bill payment can seem time-consuming and confusing, but it doesn't have to be. Here are the steps to set up a new bill pay payee with HSBC.

1. Log In to Your HSBC Online Banking Account

The first step in setting up a bill pay payee is to log into your HSBC online banking account. Add your username (typically your email address) and password.

You can reset them in the Access Online Services section of the Personal Banking menu if you don't know your username and password.

2. Select Pay Bills

Choosing Pay Bills will bring you to a list of all your current payees. This includes utilities and other companies that you pay. Click Add New on the list.

3. Click Set Up a New Payee

You can set up and pay bills within the mobile or the web app. Tap Pay Bill and then choose Add New Payee to set up bill pay on the HSBC Mobile Banking app.

Select Add New from the next screen and add your new payee's name and address information. After tapping Next, enter your account number for that payee, which you can find within a monthly statement.

4. Schedule Your Payment

The next step is to schedule your payment. For example, if you're paying a utility bill, you can set it up so that the bank will automatically payment withdraw it from your account every month until you tell HSBC otherwise.

Once you complete this process, don't forget to confirm your payments before the bank can process them. Click Confirm Payments.

5. Choose Verify Button

HSBC will email a confirmation to your registered email address. You need to click on the link in that email for HSBC to verify this email address. After the bank has verified your account, it will email a confirmation message back confirming the verification of your account.
