Jul 13, 2023

If you have a bank account at First Republic Bank, you can make recurring bill payments from that bank account automatically. That way, you'll never be late because you forgot to make a payment again.  It's an easy procedure. To learn about it, keep reading this article.

How to Set Up a Recurring Bill Payment from Your Bank Account

To set up a recurring payment, just follow these steps:

  1. Go to First Republic Bank's website.
  2. Log into your First Republic Bank account.
  3. Click on the Bill Pay option.
  4. If you have added the payee to your account, look through the list of payees for it. If you haven't done that yet, select the "add payee" option and follow the prompts. You can find your desired payee on the list of commonly used payees or add it to your account yourself.
  5. Click on the Auto Pay option for that payee.
  6. Click on the First Republic Bank account you want to use for the payment.
  7. Enter the amount of the payment.
  8. Enter the payment date and the other required information for an automatic payment.
  9. Follow the remaining prompts and submit the payment setup.

You can set up a recurring payment on the First Republic Bank app or on a desktop. The procedure is the same either way.

Change Your Bill Payment Check Address

If you move but need to keep paying the bill you set up the recurring payment for, change the address on your bill payment checks. Click on "Send a Message" under "We're Here to Help." In that message, ask to have your bill payment check address updated.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for First Republic Bank Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
