You can transfer to other Fifth Third Bank accounts, bank accounts at other financial institutions or someone else's account. The process for canceling an existing transfer is the same whether you use online banking or Mobile Banking.

Here are the steps to cancel an existing transfer in my Fifth Third Bank account.

1. Log In to Your Fifth Third Bank Account

Fifth Third Bank provides different ways to log in to your account. You can access your account through the Fifth Third mobile app, which is available for Android and Apple devices. You can also log in through the bank's website. Once logged in, you can access your account information by clicking Online Banking.

2. Go to the Transfers Section

Find a link to the Transfers section under My Accounts. Click on the link and select Manage Transfers.

You can also go to the main menu and select Banking and then Transfers.

To go to the main menu, click on Banking. This will take you to the primary navigation to access all your accounts.

3. Find the Transfer You Want to Cancel

Once on your account homepage, hover over Transfers and click Transfer Activity under Transfers & Payments. This will take you to a page with information about your transfers. Click the name of the transfer you want to cancel.

4. Choose the Cancel Option

Select the Cancel Transfer button. You will find a confirmation screen, so ensure this is what you want to do before proceeding.

5. Confirm the Cancellation

Choose the View Transfer option to access a drop-down menu. From this menu, click Cancel Transfer. You should see a confirmation that your request was successful. If you're in online banking, click the Transfer option. Once the transfer listing has loaded, click the arrow next to the transfer amount to expand it. Select the Cancel Action button.

6. Verify the Transfer Cancellation

Log into your Fifth Third Bank account to check if you canceled your transfer. Go to the Transfers page and click the transaction you want to cancel. On the next page, there's a section called Details. You will find a list of your options in that section.
