Calling Walmart Product Care Plan Customer Care at 877-968-6391

Calling this number isn't effective unless your plan was purchased just under six years ago. If your plan was purchased before summer 2018, you can use this number for assistance, although you need to go through several steps in order to do so. If you have a newer plan, this number cannot be used for anything, as the system will automatically hang up on you when you make that selection.

When you dial this number, you're asked if you purchased your plan before the specific date in 2018. If you say it was after, you are told to call 1-877-538-4389 for assistance with your plan, and the system automatically hangs up. If you call back and say that your plan was purchased before that time in 2018, you're put through to the next set of questions toward getting you assistance with your plan.

However, there is a chokepoint here: you have to provide your plan number in order to get assistance. If you don't have your plan number, you won't be able to get through to speak to anyone. The system will not automatically hang up on you like it does if you try to go through the second option, but it will ask you again if you purchased your plan before a certain date.

It seems odd to me that this number is still in use if it only allows for plans that are over five years old, but that's what this number has chosen to offer. This number does still link to Wal-Mart's website when you search it, so Wal-Mart is clearly still keeping it active for older claims. However, unless you bought something in 2018 or earlier and have had it covered since then, there's nothing you can use this number for. If you haven't already been using it, you don't have a reason to begin.
