The issue in GetHuman-newmelel's own words
Well I am extremely dissatisfied with Ebay customer support and the way that sellers are allowed to just change their mind at any point during the sell. I can not believe that you allow this kind of thing to happen. So my issue is that I ordered a playstation * and after * days we noticed it had not shipped yet. So at that point my son contacted the seller who decided to inform him that he was no longer selling the item. First of all, the seller should have already contacted us and let us know he wasn't selling it anymore. But no he didn't. * days and we had to get in touch with him about it. And of course the payment had already been sent and collected by the seller. I don't know if he ever planned on telling us that he wasn't selling it at all and just planned on keeping our money. But either way this kind of thing should NEVER happen. Once an item is bought by a customer, once someone has paid for the item the seller should not be able to decide not to sell it. That should NOT be an option for them. They should have to go through the difficulty of trying to have the buyer return the item. They should have to ask for a return. They should have to go through the headache of the situation themselves. Not the buyer. Especially once the seller has already taken money from the buyer. This should not be on the buyer to go through all this ****, not when I have done nothing that would constitute me taking a loss or having to wait * weeks to get my money back. I didn't change my mind...they did. I paid for the item as I was supposed to. They changed the deal. It should be on the seller to deal with the headache of trying to get their item back. But this guy stated after * days that he just didn't want to sell the PlayStation so now I'm having to go through the ordeal and put up with the **** myself because of his decision. This is something Ebay needs to take a good hard look at and change the policy on. And even worse.. his only punishment is none. That he only is able to do this sort of thing a limited number of times before he's no longer able to sell anything on eBay... how ridiculous is that?? I mean really? eBay you should be ashamed of yourself. This is sad, awful and just outright bad business.i can not believe this. I know I will not be purchasing anything else from your site. There is no way I will put my money on the line like this ever again.
