Apparently ebay judges their ability to provide customer service on the number of recent transacations associated with our accounts... not a great motto for a company who is competing with a monster like Amazon.com...*I recently engaged in conversation with a customer service 'Manager' who indicated to me that if I had greater than $*** in ebay transactions, he would be able to honor the **% coupon promo that ebay ran today (sadly, I missed out on a ** hour coupon campaign... who the heck does a ** hour coupon anyways?!?@). Not only was this Managers name Omar* but he was unable to locate my recent transactions that are tied to my account - he accused me of never buying anything from ebay!! How in the heck is ebay still in the Valley if they can't straighten out their IT?? .... Maybe it's time to move to Houston... I mean Austin...*I digress - anyways* I am completely apalled a the "Customer Service" I just received from a dying company who apparently isn't interested in making a positive experience for a younger than middle aged customer... who will have kids and a family still one day! To their defense* I did call at *PM Pacific Standard Time - which*was * hours past the deadline for a promo that seems to have ran from *:**AM (when I received the email) to *:**PM (*** hours) ... now I dont know about you all, but I work more than ** hours per day to make a living in California.... And when I saw the email this morning, I must have assumed that I had all day - maybe even until midnight PST to take advantage of this great offer... however, I was wrong - and COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED!!****ebay: Please get your act together.
