Hello, I've been a member of eBay for a few years but began selling more actively in the last month. I received an invoice for £4.73 that I promptly paid, similar to the one I paid in July. However, my account balance is showing that I owe £20. I am unsure why this discrepancy exists. Could it be related to taxes? I believe this may be an error considering my total earnings, including my part-time job, fall below the personal allowance threshold.

I purchased an ice making machine from DoubleTree Sales-3. After having it for two months, it unexpectedly began leaking a significant amount of water. I reached out to the seller, who initially promised a refund, but I am still waiting for any resolution. Unfortunately, they have now begun ignoring my emails. This machine was initially a gift, and now I feel like the seller is uninterested in helping me now that they have received payment. It's frustrating to feel like they may be trying to deceive me with empty promises. I was considering buying a replacement, but I am understandably upset about the poor quality of the machine I bought.

I haven't used my eBay account, "fynesse", since eBay blocked my computer, an Apple G4 with IBM chips, from accessing my account. Login used to be automatic. My sister gifted me a Fire tablet, and now I can't recall my passwords. Mobile number: [redacted]1. I am experiencing difficulties signing in to my account. Despite changing my password multiple times, I am still unable to log in successfully. Furthermore, there are instances where I am greeted by my name but prompted to sign in again when proceeding to the checkout page. I have received a message indicating that my account may be compromised and have changed my password numerous times as a result. Unfortunately, the website does not seem to accept my new passwords. Hello Seller, I received the item you attempted to deliver on 16th December around 2:00 PM at Flat 5, [redacted] Rose Green Road. Unfortunately, it was the incorrect item. I personally retrieved the package, which contained three plastic-wrapped items measuring 33cm. Whether this was intentional or a mistake remains to be seen. Hello, I purchased only one Samsung Galaxy S9, but it seems there was a mistake during scanning, and it showed as if I had bought four phones. I made a purchase on eBay which was not delivered on time. The seller claimed to have sent it later, but the tracking information is not accessible. I had to purchase a similar item at Waitrose, costing me more money. This has happened before where sellers delay shipment until after a complaint is made. It seems like eBay allows and even supports this practice.

I needed to return an item as it didn't fit – Order No. 13-06[redacted]6. I was told that the seller would contact me to provide return instructions, which was mentioned to me back in late November. The seller had until around December 18, [redacted], to respond. Unfortunately, I have not received any communication from the seller at all. Despite this, Ebay appears to have canceled the return without verifying if the seller had made any attempt to contact me. Can you please help arrange a refund or clarify if I missed a step? I strictly followed the instructions given. This situation appears to be susceptible to misuse by unscrupulous sellers.

After 7 weeks, a customer is now requesting a refund for a skin cream because she believed it was for the face, not the eyes. I accurately described the product according to the box, and despite her initial confusion when she messaged me upon purchase, I offered her a refund if she returned it. However, due to the extended time and Covid restrictions, processing a return could be challenging. It seems unjust that she now wants a refund after all this time, especially when the product matched the description on the box. I had specified no returns as I wouldn't be able to resell the item. It's frustrating to anticipate negative feedback when she misunderstood the product she was purchasing.

I purchased a watch on December 22nd from a UK eBay seller to be delivered to Spain. I received an email confirming the order and dispatch on the same day, with tracking information indicating it should arrive between January 1st and 5th. However, on December 24th, I received another email stating the parcel is lost, with the seller mentioning that "Ebay warehouse UK lost our parcel." Despite sending three messages to the seller inquiring about the next steps, I have not received any response. I am unsure about the appropriate course of action. I sold my [redacted] loop station on eBay for £[redacted]. I was informed that payment would be made on the 18th of December, but it did not happen. The next expected payment date was on the 21st of December, but it also did not go through. I had to update my PayPal account on the 23rd of December and was charged £17, but the payment still did not come through. It's now the 27th of December, and I still haven't received the payment. I will wait for another week, and if the payment still hasn't been made, I will have to report the issue. I created a business PayPal account just to receive payment from eBay. I really need this money and hope this can be resolved promptly. Thank you.

Hello, I recently received an iPhone 11 on 21st December that I ordered as a gift for my daughter. However, upon opening it on the 25th, I found that it had a passcode, preventing its use. I contacted the seller requesting the passcode within 48 hours or a refund. Upon reviewing the item description online, I noticed it was claimed to be unused, which makes the presence of a passcode puzzling. Typically, new phones allow for easy setup without pre-existing passcodes. The discrepancy has led me to believe the phone might have been used before. Having spent £[redacted], I am seeking either the passcode or preferably, a genuinely unused phone. As a new seller on eBay, I recently received a message from eBay stating that my account needs verification for security purposes. They have temporarily placed a selling hold on my account and removed any active listings to my Unsold folder. They have assured that once I verify my account information, I can resume selling immediately and relist any items from the Unsold folder. Despite confirming with eBay via chat, they mentioned that my suspension might be permanent, although my seller account is still active but unable to list any products. Thank you for understanding and helping to maintain a safe and fair marketplace on eBay.

I'm unsure about the situation. Recently, I encountered two incidents that may have affected my account status. Initially, I fell victim to a scam by a seller who had zero feedback. Despite relying on PayPal buyer protection, resolving the issue proved to be a lengthy and frustrating process that lasted nearly two months. The second incident involved selling a laptop with an undisclosed fault, which the buyer discovered and led to an immediate refund. In mid-November, my account was suspended without explanation, leaving me unable to appeal the decision.
