eBay (UK) Customer FAQ

We're sorry to hear you're having difficulty getting a return label. If you opened a return case on eBay (UK) but can't print the label, it's often due to one of three reasons: 1. It's been more than 14 days since the case was opened. After this time, the window to print eBay return labels automatically closes. 2. The seller didn't provide a return label. In this case, you may need to organise your own return delivery. 3. A technical problem might be preventing you from printing. We suggest trying to print the label from another device or browser. If you've tried this and still have issues, it might be due to the first two reasons listed.

We're sorry for the inconvenience. eBay (UK) generally doesn't send voucher codes for in-store collection of purchases. It's possible you may be confused with the system of some other stores. Typically, after making a purchase on eBay, the item is either posted directly to you or the seller may provide you with details for collection based on the arrangements you've made with them. You should reach out directly to the seller from your eBay account if you're having issues collecting your items.

If your case on eBay (UK) is marked as closed but you have not received your refund, it may be due to a few reasons. The case might have been resolved in the seller's favour, or the refund is still in process. Refunds typically appear in your PayPal account within 3-5 business days, but can sometimes take up to 30 days depending on the method of payment. If the seller issued the refund directly and you paid using a card, the refund might be pending with your card issuer. Always ensure you've checked all the possible avenues including your PayPal balance, original payment method, or even a credit directly to your PayPal account.

Resetting your password on eBay (UK) should be straightforward. On the sign-in page, click 'Forgot your password?' which will prompt you to enter your email or username. Once you've done this, click 'Continue'. If the details you've entered are associated with an eBay account, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password. Remember, for security purposes, your password should be unique and not easily guessed by others. eBay recommends using a combination of letters, numbers and symbols.

We understand your concern. There could be a few reasons for this: the seller might be away, dealing with their own issues or simply taking time to respond. However, please remember that eBay encourages all sellers to respond within 48 hours, but it's not necessarily a requirement. If the seller still does not respond, and if you encounter any problems with your transaction, you can take additional steps by opening a case in our Resolution Centre. Keep in mind all communication between buyer and seller should remain within eBay for records and protection purposes.
