I requested a total refund of the trip I took yesterday. Because I did not accomplish my goal. The original vehicle I was assigned to would not start. After holding on the phone for about thirty minutes. The operator took me through a number of various tries. All unsuccessful. He said he put me in the vehicle next to me, it was available. But because the windows did not close he kept me on the line attempting to get me to close the windows. He said he was going to transfer me to someone more technical. I held the phone I called on another line while waiting. I had a particular time to be at my destination. Another operator came on the line. We went through the same procedures as the other operator. I was able to close the window. I then asked if the other operator had transferred me to the other vehicle he said he had. She said the vehicle was not available. She then put me on hold again to transfer me to the vehicle next to the one I was in. When she came back on the line she acted not to hear me. she said the rental would be canceled if I did not respond. she hung up. I called back and asked why I was being toyed with. The operator checked and said I was assigned to the vehicle. I missed my time by minutes I was not able to accomplish what I needed to do. they did not permit me to continue. I had plenty of time to complete the trip as planned. I requested a full refund and in addition a coupon for a full days rental. Not only was my time wasted by card was charged and I have to wait to get the refund. Moreover, in order the return the vehicle with the agreed amount of gas, I had to go to the filling station. Once the vehicle would not start. I should have been placed in another vehicle. the time to do that took too long. All of which was beyond my control.
