I tried out the YouTube TV free trial but decided to cancel before being charged. Despite canceling and being assured that I wouldn't be charged, I was still billed. After contacting customer service, I was informed that I would receive a refund. However, I have not seen any refund yet. I was initially charged on October 12, and this unexpected charge caused an overdraft in my bank account. I am eager to speak with a representative to resolve this issue promptly.

I have an extremely old account with some embarrassing videos under the username "murriguzman." It's tied to a long-forgotten Yahoo email, and I can't remember the password from about 7 years ago. I am eager to delete it to avoid any potential embarrassment from those old videos resurfacing.

I have been attempting to delete an old account that I haven't used in a decade. I've forgotten the password, email, and phone number associated with it, making it challenging to access and delete it permanently. Can you please investigate this issue for me and either provide me with access or delete the account? The account in question is named petesqueak1. I need to have all my daughter's videos removed from YouTube. She is only 8 years old, and her name is Olivia Mizzi. She uploaded over 50 videos under her name. I am not sure which email address is linked to the account, and I suspect it may have been deleted. Please assist in deleting these videos as she is too young for this and did not have my permission. I am experiencing an issue with YouTube on my device. When I launch the app, it displays a message saying "You're offline, please check your network connection," despite having a strong connection and all other Wi-Fi dependent apps functioning normally. This problem only pertains to YouTube. I have attempted various troubleshooting steps like restarting my phone, clearing the app's cache and data, reinstalling it multiple times, updating it, and freeing up storage (which temporarily resolved the issue for an hour). I even checked the device compatibility (8.1.0) but to no avail. As someone who heavily relies on YouTube for over 80 hours per week for white noise to aid in sleeping and concentration, this situation is becoming increasingly frustrating. If anyone has any suggestions or solutions, I would greatly appreciate the help.

After addressing some errors, my YouTube channel was unexpectedly suspended. Following my explanation to you, the suspension was lifted, for which I appreciate your assistance. However, all the content on the channel was removed for unknown reasons as I believe I did not violate any of YouTube's terms and conditions. My channel primarily features songs, freestyles, and beats with proper copyright permissions from producers to singers. The channel serves as a platform for music competitions and collaborations with producers, ensuring all copyrights are adhered to. I kindly request a review of my situation so that I can resume my activities on the platform. Thank you.

My YouTube channel, RodsShop, was hacked back in September. I reported it and they asked me to create a new channel to move the hacked one. Unfortunately, the hacked channel got terminated due to the hackers' actions. Instead of restoring my original channel, they moved a terminated one to the new channel. The new channel got deleted, and no one is responding to my emails. Recently, I was informed that my hacked channel is no longer eligible for monetization. It seems like different departments are not coordinating properly. I have always maintained my channel in good standing, and I haven't violated any policies to deserve losing my channel and monetization status. Can someone assist me in recovering my channel and correcting my status? My YouTube channel is/was RodsShop, associated with my email [redacted]

I follow Loudmouth BFC, a channel run by Matthew Fisher, known for vlogging about Barnet games. However, his behavior includes swearing and offensive language towards opposing teams, even with xenophobic remarks towards Newport and Wrexham. There are instances of explicit content being included and mockery towards individuals in the football community. Fisher seems to have issues with using match footage due to copyright concerns. I wonder if YouTube has addressed these issues with his content moderation.

I am recovering from open heart surgery and have been out of work for two months. My car is in the shop, and I am currently without funds. Unauthorized charges of $12 for YouTube Premium have left my checking account at -$8. Due to this, my bank will charge me $40 for insufficient funds. In my dire financial state, is YouTube Premium more essential than food? It is frustrating that contacting your customer service is nearly impossible. After being on hold for an hour and then disconnected, it seems you are unreachable. I never received any email confirmation of the transaction from your company. I only discovered the charge when my bank alerted me to the overdraft. I urgently request someone to address this matter promptly. - P. Lochridge

A few days ago, I received an email from a scam artist claiming there were spam videos on my YouTube channel "Cyrelle/Sonic18" that needed to be deleted. Unfortunately, I realized it was a hacker who sent it without my knowledge. On November 10, [redacted], at 11:19 PM, the hacker accessed my channel, deleted my "About me" page, disabled comments on my videos, and removed my ownership. While I can still access my Google account, my YouTube brand account "Cyrelle/Sonic18" was unlinked from my Google sign-in without my consent. I am requesting the YouTube Team's assistance in restoring me as the rightful owner of my channel. I have not violated any rules, received copyright strikes, or community guideline warnings. The hacker's IP address is 34.[redacted].29.22 from Dublin, Ireland. I am eager to regain control of my channel promptly. Thank you for your help.

I am feeling quite upset about the recent COPPA compliance issue on YouTube. As a creator based in the UK who makes animation memes and song covers, I am facing a dilemma with the "Made For Kids" setting. YouTube should take responsibility for data collection errors involving children rather than shifting the burden onto creators. My content appeals to a teenage audience and is not solely directed at kids, as illustrated by mature animated series like Hazbin Hotel. Even my animation memes contain elements not suitable for children. I am considering setting my channel as not for kids to maintain features like comments and monetization. It is frustrating to have to navigate these changes due to company mistakes. I urge YouTube to consider allowing essential features on "Made For Kids" channels to be retained.

Hello YouTube Help Team, I experienced a sudden change in my account settings on Monday, 11 November [redacted]. While watching in full-screen mode on my phone, I noticed that the black bars on the sides, which compensate for the phone's elongated shape, disappeared. It seems as though the full-screen mode is now slightly zoomed in, causing some of the content, especially the subtitles, to be cut off. I temporarily switched to the PC version on my phone, but I then encountered another issue - I couldn't adjust the video quality. This is a problem because I struggle to read subtitles on low-quality videos. I was hoping for a quick and simple solution to resolve this frustration. Thank you, M.T.

During a live stream on my YouTube channel, a user with a fake account filed a false copyright claim, resulting in my live streaming capabilities being disabled. I provided links to show that I had permission from the content owner, Gary Snowflake, to mirror the video. Although I don't need the video reinstated, I do need my live streaming privileges restored. Despite submitting three retraction forms to YouTube, it seems that my requests are not being properly investigated. Gary Snowflake has confirmed that he was not contacted by YouTube regarding the permission I had to use the video. It is evident that the person who issued the copyright strike does not own the content I was mirroring, as Gary Snowflake is the rightful owner. I kindly request for the video to be removed from my channel's history and for my live streaming to be reactivated.

Recently, three of my most popular videos were blocked by YouTube, even though I have never received a copyright strike and have never monetized any of my videos. I have diligently followed fair-use guidelines for non-profit commentary and criticism, sourcing clips from publicly available sources on YouTube like Fight Motion and Thrill and Agony. The blocked videos, including "DC vs Brock Lesnar Promo," "McGregor Vs Diaz 3 Promo," and "Khabib Vs Poirier Promo," each had moments from UFC footage briefly shown, resulting in their restriction. I, along with other creators like TitanTak, Stunning Studios, and Dresist Studios, create content to engage fans and promote UFC fights. I am reaching out for assistance in resolving this issue and restoring/unblocking the videos. I received a phishing email on November 7th and mistakenly provided my account details, thinking it was from YouTube. This led to my Google Account being hacked, resulting in no access to my YouTube Channel contents. I promptly enabled 2 Step Verification, changed my password multiple times using the verification code. Thankfully, my videos and subscribers returned within 10 minutes. However, upon checking recent security events, I noticed the hacker accessed my account from Dublin, Ireland, using a Windows device contrary to my Mac. Despite my efforts, over 24 hours later, I received an email stating the ownership of my YouTube Channel was changed. Now, under the name Giovanni Stramacci, my channel is gone and in someone else's control. It appears as an inactive channel with no content, and the comments are disabled. I urgently need assistance as my identity, tied to over [redacted] videos on that channel, seems to be compromised. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I recently learned about YouTube's new policy where creators have to categorize their content as "for kids" or "not for kids." While I understand the intention behind this to protect young viewers, it's creating challenges for content creators. The threat of hefty fines for misclassification is concerning, especially for those who can't afford such penalties. This policy not only impacts creators but also makes it difficult for viewers to access their favorite channels and videos. YouTube should consider the impact on creators in these situations. While I appreciate the efforts to safeguard children and maintain advertiser-friendly content, the implementation shouldn't risk putting people in financial hardship, ruining careers, or making the situation worse overall.

For the past two weeks, I've been experiencing an issue with my YouTube account on my phone. The comments, likes/dislikes, views, saving to playlists, and sharing functionalities are not loading on my main channel. This problem doesn't occur on my second channel or when I access YouTube on my laptop. I've attempted various troubleshooting steps such as uninstalling and reinstalling updates, clearing the cache, deleting all data, logging out and back in, but these haven't resolved the issue. Even switching to a new phone hasn't fixed the problem. Reverting to the previous version of YouTube temporarily solves the problem, but it reoccurs after about 20 minutes. I'm feeling very frustrated as I've exhausted all possible solutions and don't know what else to try.

Dear YouTube, I've heard that by December 10th, any small YouTubers without monetization may have their videos and channels deleted. I enjoy creating videos on YouTube, and after working hard to reach 80 subscribers, I would be devastated to lose my content. I create kid-friendly videos and have aspirations to monetize my channel.
