I recently purchased an Xbox One S (1TB version) from GameStop for my son's birthday. He was excited to download Fortnite using the code provided, but unfortunately, the code was invalid when he tried to redeem it on his Microsoft account. I'm not sure if the code was damaged or tampered with. I've contacted GameStop, but they informed me that the code is only available in the Xbox package and cannot be replaced separately. I want to resolve this issue promptly as my son was looking forward to playing the game.

On March 14th, [redacted], my family's house was burglarized while we were on vacation in California. Among the stolen items was our Xbox One, for which we had recently purchased a 12-month subscription and preordered Mortal Kombat 11 online. Unfortunately, we were unable to recover our original console and games. The main issue now is that we cannot recall which email address was linked to our Xbox account. Despite trying all accessible emails, none seem to be correct. We can provide the gamer tag, purchase receipts, and credit card used for the subscriptions. We are concerned about losing access to the preordered game and the 12-month Live subscription. Can anyone assist us in resolving this matter?

Hello, my son encountered some unpleasant interactions on his account while playing a game. Another player taunted him about his skills, causing him to log off. Later, his brother saw the message and responded inappropriately. This resulted in the group of players reporting my son's account, leading to enforcement action being taken. I am concerned about the fairness of this process, as it appears that anyone can provoke a situation and get others to report a player without consequences. I'm seeking clarification on how incidents like this are addressed and how fault is determined. It seems like the reporting system may need to be reviewed to prevent misuse. Thank you.

I am having trouble accessing my account due to the two-factor authentication. The system is prompting me to enter the code from my authenticator app, which I don't have. Unfortunately, I have also forgotten my password and I no longer have access to my old phone number as my phone is damaged and I couldn't retrieve any information from it. I have been attempting to regain access to my account for weeks now, and it has been a source of great frustration and annoyance. The only devices I am currently logged into are my old phone and Xbox One.

I have been dealing with constant bullying in a game, and despite reporting it, I was unfairly banned from my account, skyman222. The actual person who should be banned is greyjaguar22, as they are the one continuously harassing and intimidating players, specifically on Xbox Live. They persistently bully others, telling them to harm themselves over losing in video games, yet they have not faced any consequences while others have been banned.

My phone number was transferred from T-Mobile, and the thief is using it to hack my Microsoft and Xbox accounts. They have enabled two-step verification and are changing passwords using my number. My account, Xander092199, has had its credit card disabled, but I usually buy 1-year subscriptions. I need help recovering my account. Should I provide my Xbox username? I can offer any necessary verification details, but regaining control of my Microsoft account seems impossible right now. Thank you.

Hello, I am encountering an issue while playing my FIFA 19 - Champions Edition digital copy. An error message appears along with some additional information. It mentions checking if the game has been purchased or if a copy is available. I bought the game digitally on September 17, [redacted], and can provide evidence on my Microsoft account. I followed troubleshooting steps up to step 10 and even uninstalled the game as advised. However, now when I try to reinstall it, I am unable to do so because it claims I don't own the game. I have confirmed that I am using the account where the purchase was made, and the game does not function on any of my other accounts. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

I am experiencing issues with my wireless controllers for my Xbox One. I own a white controller and recently purchased a used black one. When I turn on the white controller first, followed by the black one, the left joystick and A button on the black controller malfunction. This results in the character continuously jumping in games and the joystick becoming unresponsive in the menu. Additionally, the A button on the black controller requires multiple presses to function. I am unsure whether to discard the black controller and purchase a new one, as it is no longer under warranty. I would appreciate a prompt response. Thank you.

I am encountering issues with accessing my downloaded game, Hellblade. After reaching the title screen, a message prompts me to confirm with the A button but clicking does not progress. Previously, I faced a recurring problem where the game froze at a certain point. Although I've contacted customer support regarding this matter before, it remained unresolved. Despite having reported these interactions on my account, the problems persist. Now, a new obstacle has emerged requiring a valid account. To address this, I am seeking assistance and kindly ask for customer support to contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

I'm having trouble signing in to my Xbox [redacted] profile on my Xbox One when playing backwards compatible games. I've tried different accounts to rule out any issue with my account. It seems my Xbox One is having trouble connecting to Xbox Live during Xbox [redacted] emulation, preventing online play. I need assistance to resolve this so I can enjoy my favorite games again.

I am a 75-year-old with 2 Xbox consoles and 1 Xbox [redacted]. I play different games on each to enjoy a wide selection. However, I'm frustrated when Microsoft interrupts my gameplay to question game ownership. It's confusing as I have both digital and physical games. Adding to the frustration, my wife faces unnecessary obstacles like password requests and blurred image challenges, preventing her from enjoying the games. These interruptions detract from our relaxation time. We simply want to unwind without added stress.

I recently purchased Borderlands 2 for my Xbox One S and it worked perfectly for two days. However, on the third day (April 3, [redacted]), it suddenly stopped working. The system prompted me to insert a disc or sign into Xbox Live, even though I had checked everything. After troubleshooting, I uninstalled the game with the intention of reinstalling it. Unfortunately, when I tried to reinstall it, I encountered an error message stating that it couldn't be installed. When I checked the store, the install button was missing, and it only said "sold separately." I'm unsure of what steps to take next.

Hello, I recently bought Metro Exodus along with the expansion pass for $84. I've been attempting to play the game for the past two days, but I've been experiencing frequent crashes, occurring on average every 20 minutes to an hour. I've already tried restarting my Xbox and reinstalling the game, but the issue persists. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

I encountered Error 0x82D40003 on my Xbox and attempted to reach out to Xbox support, but the website was unresponsive and froze while trying to get assistance. I researched solutions and first attempted to set my Xbox as my home console, a step it always was but I tried again with no success. Next, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game only to find it missing from my list of ready-to-install games (I purchased a digital copy). Upon checking the store for FIFA 19, it seems like I have to repurchase the game even though I bought the $[redacted] edition. I am frustrated as I have invested a significant amount of money in this game and need urgent help to resolve this issue.

I received a suspension on chat, but I'm unsure of its duration. The other player started the argument and reported me for unsportsmanlike behavior because he was unhappy about losing the game in Apex. He then took his frustration out on me, messaged me first, and falsely accused me. This led to an instant suspension on Xbox. I'm frustrated by the situation and concerned about the other player's behavior and pattern of reporting others.

I recently had a disagreement with another player and got reported for my choice of words. Following a brief communication ban, I am now encountering an issue where I am unable to access GTA Online due to a permission restriction on my profile. This restriction has persisted for over a day and a half despite my desire to continue playing without causing any further inconvenience. Furthermore, I encountered a problem where I purchased missiles for my oppressor Mk2 but did not receive them after spending $[redacted],[redacted] twice. I eventually got the missiles after repurchasing them today but would like a refund for the initial failed transactions I experienced. I had also recently invested in a $[redacted] megalodon shark card. I kindly request assistance in resolving these issues promptly as I enjoy fair gameplay, regularly participate in missions, and conduct myself as a good sport. Thank you.

I have been attempting to cancel my Xbox Game Pass subscription for months now. The subscription has caused my bank account to go negative twice, and I haven't even used the service in months. I've tried to cancel it online multiple times, but the process is confusing and keeps redirecting me. I managed to stop the recurring billing on my card in my account settings, but I still received an email about a payment attempt. As an older customer, I struggle with online processes and would much prefer to speak with someone directly. I have emailed the support team several times without any resolution. I urge the company to address these issues promptly and stop charging me for a service I no longer use. My account is under [redacted]

I recently finished playing Final Fantasy 7 on the Switch and enjoyed it. I wanted to earn achievements, so I purchased Final Fantasy IX for Xbox. However, I am having difficulties with the installation process. When I try to reinstall the game, it only downloads a small portion before stopping. The download size displayed is incorrect, showing 84.05MB out of 93.39MB instead of the actual 5.24GB. I've attempted to resume the download multiple times, but it only adds a few MB each time, never reaching the full size. I have tried changing my internet connection, canceling and restarting the download, as well as performing a hard reset on my Xbox. Despite these efforts, Final Fantasy IX still won't install. I would appreciate a prompt resolution to this issue or a refund if necessary.

I wanted to express my appreciation as a proud fan, but I am currently an unsatisfied customer. I recently purchased "Call of Duty Black Ops 4" only to realize it lacks a single-player campaign. After researching, I found that Activision did not inform customers adequately. Rather than seeking a refund, I am requesting a fair trade. I propose exchanging the $30 I spent on the game for 2 maps or DLCs for "Call of Duty Advanced Warfare." Since I already own 2 DLCs, this trade would be a suitable solution. Please reach out to me at [redacted] or email me at [redacted] promptly. Thank you.

We recently experienced a security threat referred to as DDoS, which has affected our family due to our son playing Xbox. This incident exposed us to potential risks as our IP address could be used to access personal and financial information. It's essential to address this issue seriously. We had to clean and change our devices and router to ensure our security. It's crucial for Xbox or Microsoft to address and fix this security vulnerability that has been present since [redacted].
