I need help retrieving my lost WhatsApp backup from iCloud. Now, I am unable to locate my WhatsApp backup. Can someone assist me? Here is the misguided advice I followed from the internet regarding quickly resolving the iPhone WhatsApp backup issue: visit iCloud Settings > Storage > Backup, then delete existing backups. Following this, open WhatsApp and attempt to back up your data again.

During this lockdown, effective communication is vital. I've noticed an issue with forwarding messages on WhatsApp. While I understand the need to prevent the spread of fake news, limiting us to only one forward at a time is causing inconvenience. Many of us want to share work updates, jokes, and uplifting messages easily and efficiently. Could you please consider restoring the previous functionality of allowing forwarding to up to five people at once? This adjustment would help us save time and effort. Hello, this is Violet. My phone number was banned four days ago. I usually sell food recipes online, and interested persons provide me with their WhatsApp number for me to send the recipes to them. Unfortunately, some clients block my number right after receiving the videos, avoiding payment. Others become aggressive when asked for payment, leading to conflicts. This cycle results in the videos getting deleted from both sides, causing misunderstandings and complaints. I want to clarify that I have never engaged in any illegal activities during my nine months of operating this business. Hello, I use WhatsApp to call my daughter in Brazil and a friend in Morocco. Recently, I received my latest bill from SFR. It appears that WhatsApp calls made on April 4, [redacted], were registered as regular calls on my mobile line instead of as Wi-Fi calls, which is not possible. I informed SFR that the only WhatsApp calls I made on 04/04/[redacted] (I never delete my call history) were to my daughter. The number and call durations they mentioned do not match. I suspect my SFR mobile account has been hacked as there is a backup email address in my SFR account that I did not create, and the same goes for my WhatsApp. I need WhatsApp to provide me with a call log for April, specifically for April 4, [redacted], as the only calls I made that day were to my daughter's WhatsApp number, [redacted], and SFR is referring to a different number with much longer call durations. I apologize for the lengthy message, but I assure you this is not a prank. I am experiencing an issue with WhatsApp. I am using WhatsApp on an iPhone with iOS 13.3. I accidentally sent a long text to a group chat that was meant for a friend, resulting in my inability to access that particular group. Despite not being banned or removed from the group, the app crashes whenever I attempt to join it. Other groups function normally, and using WhatsApp Web allowed me to enter the problematic group. I deleted the message causing the trouble to prevent others from facing the same issue. Despite this, I still couldn't access the group. I attempted to resolve the problem by backing up my data, reinstalling WhatsApp, and restoring the backup, yet this did not resolve the issue. Eventually, I discovered an option to leave the group via the home screen and tried rejoining at the group owner's request, without success. The group owner's attempts to re-add me were unsuccessful due to a message stating I had recently left the group. Further attempts to rejoin have been fruitless. Hello. My name is Sara J. My WhatsApp app is malfunctioning without any explanation. It keeps kicking me out as soon as I try to access it. Even after trying everything, the only solution is to uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp. However, I recently moved to the United States, and my number is from Colombia (with Virgin as the carrier, which does not offer roaming services). When I reinstall WhatsApp, I won't be able to input the verification code because I won't receive it. Currently, I haven't deleted the app due to this fear, but all my chats and contacts are inaccessible. I contacted WhatsApp support, but their responses were vague and unsatisfactory. All I want and need is for them to send the verification code to my associated email instead of via SMS, the email I am using to contact them. I even sent them a video of the issue and a direct contact number in case they have any doubts.

Hello, dear GetHuman community, I have an officially unlocked Samsung S5 that is not rooted, running Android 5.01. Lately, it has been acting faulty, shutting down, freezing, and often not booting up properly. Interestingly, when I place it in the fridge/freezer, it works intermittently. I noticed it heats up at the top to mid-left of the battery area. I also own a used Note 9 and successfully transferred my contacts to Gmail. However, I suspect my WhatsApp data is not backed up to Gmail/Drive as I can't see any used space. Furthermore, I mistakenly started registering WhatsApp on my Note 4 and now it prompts me to verify on another device, which gets stuck in a loop. I have enabled USB debugging and tried using software like MoboPlay and Samsung SmartSuite to retrieve data, with limited success. Occasionally, it connects to my desktop via USB. Last week, I mistakenly shared my WhatsApp number with a hacker through one of my contacts. When I learned about my contact being hacked, I immediately enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) to prevent the hacker from accessing my account. After contacting WhatsApp to deactivate my account, I was informed that they couldn't do so within 7 days of enabling 2FA. Finally, after 7 days had passed, I requested deactivation again. However, upon attempting to login, I received the same message as before indicating suspicious activity. Even after turning off 2FA, the hacker still had control of my account and started threatening my contacts. Despite multiple emails to customer service, I only received automated responses that didn't solve the issue, causing a great deal of stress and frustration on my end.

Today, I received a call from a number claiming to be WhatsApp from Abuja, stating I had won a lottery prize of [redacted],[redacted] pounds. They offered either 3,[redacted] data or airtime, and upon choosing data, they sent a 6-digit code for “quick processing.” Realizing they might be hackers due to background voices instructing the caller, I discovered my WhatsApp account was unregistered, indicating it was hacked. Subsequently, the hackers demanded I purchase [redacted] airtime credits to restore my account, a request I found suspicious and refused. I have reported the incident to MTN network to prevent further scams. My WhatsApp account contains sensitive business and personal information that needs to be secured promptly. Dear Sir or Madam, I’m reaching out regarding my Whatsapp account under the number +43 [redacted]. Last Thursday, my phone unexpectedly crashed without warning. I promptly purchased a new device and restored my data from ICloud. Whatsapp was successfully reinstalled on Friday evening. Upon reinstalling, I noticed that my last IPhone backup was executed on Wednesday evening, while the last Whatsapp backup dated back to around 29th of April. Despite this, some messages received after 29th of April and during the timeframe between the ICloud backup and my phone crashing were still accessible to me after the reinstallation. My concern lies with messages sent after the ICloud backup but before my phone malfunctioned. Would these be lost given the circumstances? I did not check Whatsapp during that period and those messages are crucial to me. In summary, my IPhone backup occurred Wednesday evening before the device malfunctioned on Thursday evening. My numbers +[redacted]40 and +[redacted]83 were both banned, the first on April 29, [redacted], and the second on May 4, [redacted]. I was conducting online lessons with my students in a Maths and Statistics tutor group. Unfortunately, I have lost students due to these bans. I apologize for sharing my links in various groups and understand my mistake. I am eager to abide by the rules going forward and hope the bans will be lifted soon. I am hoping to regain access to my church groups, ignite group, and mathematics and statistics WhatsApp groups on both lines. My contacts are concerned that they cannot reach me on those lines. I ask for forgiveness from those who reported and blocked me and hope to use these lines for WhatsApp again. Many Zimbabweans are familiar with these numbers.
