Yes, you can take a battery charger on board a WestJet flight. However, specific restrictions may apply depending on the type of charger and its lithium content. Chargers with lithium batteries must not exceed 2 grams for lithium metal batteries and 100 watt hours for lithium ion batteries. Please ensure your device is in your carry-on baggage, switched off and protected from accidental activation. Devices with the ability to generate extreme heat, which could cause a fire, cannot be transported at all. Always check the recent guidelines on WestJet's website or the relevant authority before you travel.

WestJet rewards points typically take up to 30 days to post to your account after qualifying activity. If it's been more than 30 days since the activity and you still don't see your points, there may be an issue. Ensure that your WestJet Rewards ID was added to the booking. If your points are still missing after verifying this, it's recommended to keep your boarding passes and trip documents until your points are credited. If your missing points relate to WestJet vacations, car rentals, hotel stays or travel insurance, you may need to submit a missing rewards request form.

If your flight was a codeshare flight operated by WestJet but booked through Delta, WestJet can assist. In situations where you have missed your flight, it is best to talk to a WestJet representative as soon as possible. Different factors like the type of ticket you have, how late you are, or the reason for missing your flight can affect whether you're allowed to board another flight without additional charges. They have the most up-to-date information and will be able to provide your available options based on the specific circumstances.

You can book a seat for your WestJet flight during the booking process online. After selecting your flights and entering your information, you'll be given an option to pick your seats. You can also choose a seat later by logging into your account on WestJet's website, going to 'Manage Trips' and selecting the seat option. Keep in mind that some seats may attract an additional fee depending on their location on the plane. If you haven't pre-selected a seat, one will be assigned to you during check-in.
