I would be trying to do anything from typing on a Word Document to browsing the Web on Safari, the issues were often and consistent. ... To resolve my Mac's reoccurring complications short-term (freezing screen, viruses, half of the screen dims for no reason, etc.) I would just power my computer off. Once it finally turned back on, a pop-up would ask if I wanted to report the issue to Apple, which I did every time, and no one ever contacted me to address the issue.
I noticed the laptop had issues at the beginning of August and filed a complaint that was approved to be sent in for repair, however, I am a college freshman and quickly became overwhelmed by the workload* therefore, I never had an opportunity to send my computer away to be repaired because I needed it at all times, it is how I access the online textbooks in my classes each day.
I would like to return the product and be refunded the money for it, I am more than willing to receive my refund as a credit that can only be used for another Walmart laptop and would plan to buy a non-refurbished, more expensive laptop. I am counting on some type of compensation because I spend a lot of money on this refurbished laptop fully trusting Walmart's liability to sell only high quality refurbished products, and was sorely disappointed.
I have always been a customer at Walmart, I think the team there is fair and attentive to their customers and if I hadn't had so much trouble and frustration with the various issues I encountered over the year, I would be fully willing to send the Mac to be repaired and returned to me. However, I expected a little more out of this refurbished Macbook because I had heard great things, and was all-around disappointed with the product. My trust in Walmart is not broken, if I receive a refund I would buy a new (non-refurbished) laptop from the Walmart store.
Updated my Mac, ran virus scans, researched why this might be occurring, made phone calls with computer help services, etc. The laptop is beyond fixing and has lost my patience for repair, I simply would like a compensation for my trouble.
