Sept. **, *****I was in Walgreens tonight to make a purchase and to take back two returns purchased **** and ***. Every time I go into Walgreens I spend over a hundred dollars. **** purchase was $***.** and *** purchased was $***.**. I spend $***.-$***.** a month at Walgreens. On *** I did try to return the **** purchase but because there were * people behind me, only one register open, and the kid was new and unsure how to do a refund I said never mind, I’ll do the return when you are not so busy. Tonight they tell me I can’t have a refund because my purchase was over ** days old. It wasn’t ** days old when I first went to return my item. Being a manager in retail ** years plus I know a manager can override the register. I was told I can have a store gift card. I wanted to speak to a manager. No manager was working and I was told the managers do not work nights. I took my item back home and went to CVS to make my $***.**. I don’t want a store card. I *don’t plan on shopping at Walgreens anymore. In a two week period I spent $***.** and I can’t get a $**.** refund. *I won’t shop at a place that provides minimum customer service.*Kelly Holden
