I have been a loyal Walgreens customer for over 30 years. I used to frequent the location at [redacted] S Fort Apache Rd in Las Vegas, NV until I recently switched my prescriptions to CVS. On October 16, [redacted], I refilled my Xarelto prescription at CVS and was charged for 3 months by mistake when I only received 1 month's supply. When I contacted the pharmacy to resolve the issue, I had the displeasure of dealing with a particularly rude and unpleasant individual named Yvonne. After being in customer service for over 50 years, I can confidently say that Yvonne's behavior was unacceptable. Her attitude, coupled with the long hold times and dogs in store carts, were contributing factors to my decision to switch pharmacies. It surprises me that Walgreens would tolerate such poor customer service. With employees like Yvonne, I believe Walgreens may continue losing customers. If Yvonne is no longer employed there in the future, I would consider returning to Walgreens.

I frequent a Walgreens pharmacy located at [redacted] West 235th Street in Bronx, N.Y., ZIP code [redacted]. My concern pertains to the extended wait times in the check-out lines. Despite multiple customers waiting, the store often has only one cashier available while several other staff members are unoccupied. This morning, I queued for 27 minutes before reaching the checkout, which I find excessive. Even when the lone cashier requests assistance, the other employees either offer excuses for not helping or move sluggishly. This situation has led some of my neighbors to avoid this store altogether due to the prolonged waiting times. It appears that there may be a lack of supervision over the employees' efficiency, especially during the current COVID-19 situation when customers aim to minimize their time in stores.

I am a big fan of Walgreens and love shopping there. I used to purchase Winwin leggings from Walgreens a few years back and absolutely adored them. The leggings were comfortable, had great stretch, stylish designs, and were reasonably priced, especially when they had sales like 2 for $12.99. I would wear them in various ways, and they fit beautifully, enhancing curves perfectly. Even though I still have a few pairs that I'm trying to preserve, I miss being able to buy more. The current leggings at Walgreens aren't as good in quality, style, and fit as the Winwin leggings were. I wish they would bring back the Winwin leggings with their vibrant colors and designs that suited women of different sizes so well. I have fond memories of wearing these leggings at different events, and my family also loved them. I was advised by a representative that I could order an out-of-stock product from my local store online. I placed the order and received confirmation number [redacted]86 for the 50% off Squishmallow calico cat with UPC: [redacted]8 and item number: [redacted]. I then received a voicemail from the store stating the product was not available, and before I could follow up, they canceled my order. They mentioned it would be a week until they restock, which is fine, as it's a Christmas gift for my 9-year-old daughter. However, I am on a tight budget due to disability, living off $[redacted] a month. I used $4 in rewards points, bringing the total to $6.60 with tax. I am experiencing significant difficulties with the return process for two items ordered online. Despite multiple attempts and four phone calls, I have not been able to get assistance with the return. The online system is not producing a return label when I enter my order number and zip code. Additionally, the customer service representatives have given conflicting information, initially stating I cannot return or cancel the order and later changing their stance to wait for the item to arrive. I continue to face obstacles when attempting to generate a return label even though I have the items in my possession. I am frustrated by the lack of resolution and have been trying to return the items since shortly after placing the order. I am seeking a refund for these items.

I would like to request for Mr. Jerome Karlin, Executive Vice President of Operations, to reach out to me. The Walgreens store located in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, at Lake Road and Route 83, is not being managed efficiently. The pharmacy staff demonstrates incompetence and provides poor service. As a retiree, I annually spend between $4,[redacted] and $5,[redacted] on medications at this store. Sadly, every third time I request a refill, there are errors or issues, which is extremely frustrating and occurs frequently. When I raise concerns with the pharmacist, the response is always the same, "I'll look into it," yet nothing changes. If this level of incompetence continues, I will have no choice but to redirect all my business to the nearby CVS store, which is just a short drive away. It is disappointing that Walgreens seems indifferent to these ongoing issues.

I have been buying Depends max guards for my husband for months now. Recently, I tried the Walgreens Certainly brand which looked similar to Depends but unfortunately did not perform well. The Walgreens guards tend to roll up into a ball, causing embarrassing situations. I have returned to using Depends, as the Walgreens product is noticeably inferior in quality.

I purchased (2) Oral B Pro [redacted] Electric Toothbrushes for $29.99 each with Order No. [redacted]78 on November 28, [redacted]. After confirmation, Walgreens Online raised the price and my order shows as "In Progress."
After contacting Walgreens Customer Service twice, they offered a refund. I made it clear I prefer receiving the items rather than a refund.
It seems Walgreens is delaying sending the toothbrushes despite having them in stock. The order is a contract they are now backing out of, which is disappointing.

I received a confirmation email for order number [redacted]99, but the store has no record of it when I arrived, and they couldn't find it in their system. Customer service first disconnected, and the recording said they were closed with no one available when I called back. The chat told me I was 49th in the queue, and after waiting until I was 36th, they sent a message that no one was available for chat. I am now trying to resubmit this large $[redacted] order on my phone while sitting in the Walgreens parking lot. My 94-year-old mother is alone at home after returning from the hospital yesterday following major surgery. This situation is becoming increasingly frustrating. 😬

Multiple individuals from various places have advised me that I need to register online for a COVID-19 test. Despite numerous attempts, I have encountered difficulties with the website. I have experienced issues where the site is unavailable or does not allow me to choose a testing location. Both the website and the app have been unresponsive. I require a COVID-19 test, but I am unable to obtain assistance from a customer service representative who can provide guidance beyond suggesting online registration. Regrettably, I am unable to complete the process online due to technical issues preventing me from selecting a testing location.

A veterinarian is scheduled to arrive in Chicago on Sunday at 6 pm and requires assistance as he lives alone. A service aide cannot come without a new COVID test. Unfortunately, Walgreens in Broadview, Illinois, is fully booked. The gentleman is in urgent need and needs Social Services to send help Monday morning. Is there anyone at the Broadview, IL location who can administer the test so a service aide can assist him? I was denied service at Walgreens because my 13-year-old daughter didn't have ID. I was trying to buy medication for my mother who had just finished chemo, along with cola and cigarettes. The cashier insisted I couldn't make the purchase due to a supposed state law about minors needing ID. Being a Deputy Sheriff in East Baton Rouge Parish, I know this isn't true. When I explained my daughter's age, he accused me of potentially buying the cigarettes for her, which was offensive. Despite my protests, I was forced to leave with my sick mother and embarrassed child. I feel the cashier's actions were unprofessional and possibly discriminatory. I shared my dissatisfaction with the store manager, but received no resolution.

Fulfilling prescriptions has become a recurring challenge for me at the Albion, NY store. The process feels disorganized, with frequent notifications urging me to pick up my scripts multiple times a week, occasionally even twice in a day. Initially, signing up for text alerts inundated me with over 20 notifications daily for the same prescriptions. Today, I received incomplete fills but was still billed the full amount. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to consider parting ways with Walgreens once more, making it the third and last time I will have to do so.

I recently came across a post dated 1/4/21 regarding an incident at your store #[redacted] in Upland, California. In light of the current climate, African Americans are disproportionately facing false accusations. I observed a troubling video on Instagram showing a manager at your store accusing an African American male of stealing from a nearby Vons store, leading to a police confrontation. The individual being wrongly accused documented the encounter, which revealed that the manager acted solely based on hearsay from a passerby without verifying the information with Vons. The accused man, a military veteran, was deemed suspicious based on his appearance. Despite the situation being clarified at Vons, the Walgreens manager failed to apologize and instead accused the man of being hostile when he questioned her about the mistake. This incident raises concerns about potential wrongful arrest due to unfounded claims. I urge Walgreens to provide diversity training for staff to prevent such instances and have shared this story with a news outlet for a possible series on racial profiling. Given the current societal climate regarding racial injustice, it is crucial for businesses like Walgreens to address these issues promptly.

I recently picked up my Chantix prescription, which was supposed to be for [redacted] pills at a cost of $1,[redacted].39. However, upon counting the pills at home, I found only [redacted], leaving me short of 28 pills valued at over $[redacted]. After contacting the store, I returned with the prescription and received the missing pills. Despite this, I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of explanation, apology, or compensation for the inconvenience of making multiple trips spanning over 20 miles each way. I believe there needs to be accountability for this deliberate act of fraud and theft by deception, and I am seeking answers on who is responsible and what actions will be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.

I have been trying to schedule a Covid vaccine appointment at Walgreens in Lansing, IL, but have been unsuccessful despite checking daily for available slots after midnight. The nearest store at [redacted] Torrence Ave. always shows no availability, and this seems to be the case at other locations within a 25-mile radius as well. The pharmacist mentioned that appointments must be made online, but it appears that there is no urgency to vaccinate people. Another Walgreens in Lansing, at the corner of Ridge Road and Wentworth Ave., will not be offering the Covid vaccine. It is frustrating that at 76 years old, access to the vaccine feels limited, and it seems like I may have no option but to wait for an appointment or risk the consequences of not being vaccinated.

I am requesting to discontinue my Metformin 500MG tablets. Despite several attempts, my local pharmacy keeps refilling the prescription. I have contacted them and spoken to staff, but the RX continues to be filled. Even when I request the order to be stopped in person while picking up other medications, it still gets filled. Today, I inadvertently brought home another unwanted refill. Please cease filling RX # [redacted]-[redacted]. This is the third occurrence of receiving medication I've asked to be discontinued. I attempted to schedule my Covid-19 vaccine appointment, but after selecting a time and hitting schedule for the first dose, I did not receive a confirmation email. The stores have no record of my appointment. I suspect they might only book first dose appointments if a follow-up appointment is available for the second dose. The individual I care for fell victim to a gift card scam. Despite sending $[redacted] in Nike gift cards after taking a loan on his truck, scammers asked for an additional $[redacted] which he almost sent using his SSI check. I managed to intervene before the money was sent. Currently, $[redacted] is still on the gift card. I have been in touch with Nike to secure a refund but was informed it would come from Walgreens in 4-6 weeks. This doesn't help as he needs the money urgently to pay bills. Despite trying to expedite the process through Walgreens customer service by providing card details, no progress has been made. I am unsure how to proceed since contacting Walgreens has been futile with long waiting times and no response.
