Went to have some oatmeal this morning and the milk was sour. I checked the date- July **. Today is the **st. I know I bought it at WalMart. I was going by there so I thought I'd take it back. I put it on the counter at Customer Service and when and got another quart. This is the second time this happened this month. Bad milk before the expiration date. I came back to the counter with a new quart. ***The lady said is this exchange or refund. I said take a good slug out of it and you'll know why. She talked to another lady who said they weren't replacing it. Her supervisor said they weren't replacing it because more than half of it was gone in spite of the fact that it was before the expiration date. There was about a third of the quart left. I said fine. Let me speak to the supervisor. They searched and searched and couldn't find her so a guy named Scott came to talk to me. Apparently the next in charge? He said they weren't replacing the milk because more than half was gone in spite of the fact that the good till date was July **. He asked if I had a receipt. I told him no I don't normally keep my receipts for groceries once I check the prices when I get home. He proceeded to show me his grocery receipts on his phone. ***Scott said that they didn't know where the milk had been kept, even though it was cold to the touch, and that people like me were trying to scam them all the time. I asked him if he thought I'd buy milk somewhere else and then drive all the way to WalMart to return a $*.** quart of milk? He said people do it every day. And didn't it have a WalMart UPC on it? I told him that I thought he was shortsighted not replacing a $*.** quart of milk considering the fact WalMart might lose my business and I would publicize the fact that they were selling bad milk and God knows what else. He said he didn't care if I shopped at WalMart or not and he wasn't replacing the milk. I was dumbfounded that WalMart would take that attitude. I know other stores in town wouldn't. ***Monday morning I'm moving all of my prescriptions* I think there are nine, somewhere other than WalMart. Scott might not care, but WalMart's corporate office and the thousands of others in Cheyenne I'm going to tell about my experience might. ***This was at the WalMart on Livingston In Cheyenne.
