The issue in GetHuman-jainshr's own words
I was denied boarding against my will on flight VY **** sold as IB ****, from Paris Orly airport to Roma (FCO airport). The flight departed on ** June at *:** PM and I was forced to go on flight VY **** which departed the next day on ** June at *:** AM. I hereby request the compensation of *** euros to be immediately credited to my account as per the EU passenger rights. This was promised to be credited to my card in a week, but nothing has happened since the last * weeks.**In addition to that, I would like to know what additional compensation I am entitled to for the harassment meted out to me by Vueling airlines staff who handled me late at night at Paris Orly airport on **rd June : They stood me up for over * hours (till midnight) after the flight departure at *:** PM from Orly on **rd June. I was spoken to rudely, given no information as to which hotel I am supposed to go to and told to wait for a shuttle to pick us up which did not come for ** minutes where we stood outside in cold weather. After reaching the hotel, the hotel told that they do not have space and I was sent to an adjacent hotel after standing me for an hour more. I was also forced by Vueling staff to come to the Orly airport at *:** AM for the *:** AM flight "if I wanted a seat"* they further threatened me that if I dont show up so early, I could be dropped again. At *:** AM on **th June – after barely an hour of sleep in a hostel type room - there was no one at the hotel desk to get dropped to the airport – which was again promised by Vueling staff. This forced me to book an Uber for an additional ** euros, which should be added to the above compensation amount.
